Daniel and team made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and nailed my personal style while helping me to push my boundaries as well. I visited Daniel George Chicago location to get my first fully custom tailored suit recently and had a fantastic experience. Daniel took time to explain the different styles and patterns available as well as what he thought would look best on me. He helped me pick out a material and style that looks modern and everlasting at the same time. I am very happy with the suit I got and look forward to going back for future purchases as well.

Making sure my son had a second, custom-tailored shirt shipped to him the day before is a level of commitment I've only heard about...

Daniel and his crew did an awesome job outfitting my son and I for his wedding. From the moment you enter the showroom, they treat you like a special guest, offering cocktails and attending to your sartorial needs. Daniel has a great sense of style and the selections of fabrics and liners are phenomenal. The finished product was so well tailored that I looked like a different (better) person and the groom was the best dressed man in the room by far.

If you want the best custom fitting experience in Chicago, you have to go to Daniel George. It doesn’t matter if you are buying the cheaper style or the Bespoke, you are going to walk out dressed to impress. And if you are athletically built in any way, you don’t understand how well fitting and great you will appear. Take it from this 50R with a 36W. Daniel’s shop with the what feels like 100’s of different materials and options makes it so you can have anything you want. The dress shirts fit ‘Like a Glove’ (not the OJ kind) and are well made. Daniel has taken this construction boot wearing guy that wore jackets with shoulder pads and crooked seams to fashion chic and ready to walk a red carpet. I value everything he has done and will continue to purchase my suits only from him after multiple bad experiences at other ‘custom shops.’

I have been carefully advised on finishes to a nearly bespoke level. Daniel is tremendous with design, style, cut and color combinations for each and every environment. When I moved to Chicago a couple of years ago, I needed/wanted to find a new suiting place, I did my research and found Daniel George. At first, I was intimidated, but Daniel and his staff was absolutely amazing and me feel very comfortable. Suffice to say, I got a beautifully crafted suit, shoes, ties, and shirts. I have always recommended him to anyone who needed a a well made suit that will last. It is my wish to go back, however, sometimes life gets in the way. However, I do recommend him if you want fine, quality suit without being intimated.

I had a wonderful experience getting a custom suit for my wedding from Daniel George in Chicago. He and his staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable as they guided me through the (new to me) process of measuring, selecting style, fabric, and finishes, and final fitting for the suit as well as selecting two custom shirts and two matching ties. They made me feel like a VIP throughout. The suit fits great, looks great, and makes me feel like a million bucks when I wear it. Draws a lot of compliments as well. For me, this was an expensive purchase, but it was worth every penny. Thank you Daniel George and your Chicago staff!

Great service, even well after I purchased a suit he was more than happy to tailor as I dropped a few pounds training for a marathon. Never feel better than when I am wearing my Daniel George suit.

I've purchased two suits from Daniel George in Chicago and had an excellent experience both times. With DG you get a fun, fully customized suit purchasing experience in their downtown offices. (The strong selection of complimentary bourbon doesn't hurt either). They walk you through every different pattern, customization, and fabric you can think of, and help you make the best decision for your style and budget. Both suits turned out beautiful. The only downside is any previously purchased off-the-rack suites immediately feel cheap and unwearable once you own a DG. Highly recommend, especially if you can still take advantage of their 1st time suit purchase deal.

After hearing great things for several years, I finally had Daniel cut a suit for me earlier this year. Everything I heard was true. Daniel is a devoted stylist and talented custom suit maker. His attention to the finishing details is impressive and is matched only by his genuine obsession with his client’s satisfaction with the final product. After my first measure, I lost quite a bit of weight. Consequently, the first fitting was a challenge—but a challenge that Daniel confronted head on. Not only did his team recut the suit and turn it around for a second fitting in a week, they put the finishing touches on it within another few days, just in time for an important client meeting. Daniel wanted me looking—and feeling—great. Bottom line, Daniel and his team are an extremely talented group and devoted to the craft of custom suit making. In a Daniel George suit you will look great—and feel great.
