John arrived in the middle of a storm and I expected him to postpone it for a day with better weather but he stayed and fitted my Kuga towbar, the vehicle specific wiring and did the necessary coding. A very nice job and everything works perfectly.

Fantastic service by a top tradesman,
Brian turned up on time and did the job in the 2 1/2 hours quoted,
He was full of cold and the weather wasn't the best with drizzle and damp, it made no difference he got on with it and left the car clean and tidy, would certainly recommended Brian of Derbytowbars.

Shaky start due to incorrect phone no, but Brian went out of his way to resolve that problem.
He arrived at the appointed time and worked diligently, completing the fixing of all the equipment needed to convert our campervan clutch to footfree operation in one go and took me out for a run and some training in its use.

Had to book home fitting well in advance (10 days?) so the company is clearly popular. Turned up later than originally planned, but I was forewarned earlier in the day by phone so this was not a problem. Actual fitting was quicker than forecast, and the tow bar's mechanical and electrical operations were clearly demonstrated. Subsequently used with a bicycle carrier on a trip to France; well impressed!

Couldn’t fault Brian one bit. Kept his word he would definitely fit my tow bar day before we went away on holiday. He went above and beyond and fitted it in the poor weather

What great service , Brian came to my house collected the car and took it to his workshop because of the adverse weather conditions and did a fantastic invisible tow bar job on my Merc . I would recommend this gentleman to anyone , brilliant service.

Booked Derby Towbars about 3-4 weeks in advance for a Saturday morning, Brian said he would be there between 9.30-10.00 he turned up about 10.40 hobbled out the van with a bad back moaning how big a job it was, hot it was and he was thinking about cancelling because of his back, after about 3 and a half hours the job was finished and he seems to have done a good job.I am satisfied with the service just frustrating waiting around . My advice to Brian would be get up earlier and employ some help !!!!!

Brian traveled from Derby to me in Porthcawl South Wales, arrived on time to install Autoclutch/ cruise control / speed limiter to my 2007 Citroen relay motorhome, (the first manual vehicle since the seventies) his work ethic was faultless, highly professional, clean and tidy and all with a friendly disposition!
I am so glad to have had these conversions, it is now an absolute pleasure to drive without the left leg sciatic pain and the right leg cramps from keeping the accelerator pinned on long motorway journeys! Money well spent and I can honestly recommend Brian to anyone considering this work, Just do it !

as a small business owner we found brian at derby tow bars very accommodating brilliant service as long as you keep him topped up with tea and cake the job he did was wonderful top quality products used and you can see he knows his stuff. already recommended to someone else.
