I Decided to sell my motorcycle,so rang Devitt to cancel my insurance policy which still had 6 months to run,only to be told there was a £75 cancellation fee on a policy that only cost £75.45 for the year !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely Ridiculous .

Took out insurance and set up payment date for 28th then they try taking money out on the 21st the point blank refuse to change the date it comes out. Very rude customer service. Avoid at all costs they do not care about their customers!!

This will blow your head off - I’m an existing customer with devitt for several years & have had a good claim free history & I’m a sad 58 yrs old! My renewal came up & suprise suprise I get a letter saying they can’t get me cover so basically get lost! Following me wasting much time devitt basically confirm they were wrong & they quote me a whopping £700 when my last yrs of history has been £365-430, are they serious! apparently yes. So again I get on the web & see a nice quote from BMW motoraad for £379, lovelee jublee, then I see the contact number is devitt!! So I ring em & ask why I can secure a quote £320 less then they can & they are a broker & by the way my cheaper quote is through them from another comparison site. The lovely lady said apparently they can’t cross sell or something that I didn’t understand. Anyway I’ve paid em & it’s sorted, how weird is that??!! Still don’t get it, but £320 in my bin is more then welcome. Oh Devitt sort yourself out & do your job, simples...........

I found Devitt through Go Compare after my previous insurer had, not for the first time, hiked up my renewal premium, this time to more than double! I'm not daft and I'm not in the business of subsidising extravagant discount's to attract new customers. Devitt were not the cheapest but then the cheapest insurance wasn't worth having. Devitt offered the insurance I needed at a sensible price. I was particularly pleased that the people I dealt with on the phone spoke clearly as I am actually quite deaf. I have to add a rider here - the real test of insurance comes when you have to make a claim, I haven't and I take great care not to get into situations where I need to so I can't comment on that aspect.

Not had a bike for 25 years and had given up due to high running costs. Out of interest I checked insurance quote and happy to say that Devitt made it all affordable again. Enthused I had a refresher session before buying my beloved 1100 Honda. Instructions on transfer of dvla info all very straightforward and was dealt with via email very promptly. I'm a happy Manfred.

I found buying insurance through Devitt online was a very easy and quick process and I got what I think was a good deal. The motorcycle insurance I bought was a brand new policy for a second bike so I did not have any NCB to add, as mine is already in use on my primary motorcycle policy. My current provider could not match Devitt on cost of this second bike. Great price, good extras, and quick and easy. I haven't had to use any of the other services like breakdown, claims or speak to customer services, so I can't comment on any of them at the moment.

Excellent Service, I have been with Devitt for some years now and have felt no need to change due to the competitive pricing of their policy's and ease of access to everything online.
