Worst customer service I have ever experienced , do not do business with this company or do so at your own risk , if you think used car salesmen are bad they are saints compared to these individuals . Hang up on you , tell you it is your responsibility to prove them wrong not theirs to prove themselves legit , if they say you have to believe it or get yourself an attorney ! BUYER BEWARE !

I have bought about 20 items from EBTH. They have all been BARGAINS. Once was a box of ornaments I bought for $51. I had to drive quite a ways to pick them up, but was thrilled to find 150 total in the box. I sold the first one for $175. Tables, chairs, barstools, garden items, holiday, I have been happy with all of them. But I would caution everyone to stick to the true estate sales. I have carefully avoided all art, electronics, sports memrobilia, rugs, and especially JEWELRY!

Antiques were always accurately described with many pictures. It is up to the buyer to determine how much to bid and the value of the item. I have always been happy with any item purchased from them. Everything is always very well packed and promptly shipped. My favorite site.

I've purchased antiques, artwork and jewelry from EBTH for the past several years. I've never been disappointed. Descriptions are accurate, even to pointing out flaws that are almost undetectable with the naked eye. Packing is meticulous and I've never had an item arrive damaged. Best place on the internet for unique, high-end items at wonderful prices.

IF you haven't yet tried Everything But the HOUSE (EBTH) you should definitely try it SOON...You will not be disappointed...Great items on display and excellent purchase prices. Very High End to Moderate priced items but definitely HIGH QUALITY items every single time. and also let us not forget SUPER Excellent, Professional Customer Service. George Cook

Ive spent over $10,000 with this company but I'm done. Last week I submitted a request via chat to Sophia to find out if an item could be broken down into parts...a very simple question. I never received a response but purchased the item regardless. Two days after the auction ended, I received a response from Sophia stating no one from the team ever responded to her. Is no one accountable? Do they not care about their customers? Now, I guess Ill have to rent a trailer to pick up the item when I may not need to. The bottom line is that they just don't care. They've lost a good customer.

This was my first time bidding on anything and they made it so easy and kept me informed as to when my son would ship. Very friendly customer service staff! I bid on a Seth Thomas Ship's Bell Clock (all brass) and it is beautiful and works perfectly!

I have won many great items on EBTH. Customer Service is really good. However, If you're buying gems, jewelry - I recommend you have it examined & appraised quickly. I purchased a loose gemstone, which would have been a great find - EBTH stated it had been verified, as authentic by their GIA certified gemologist. However, my jewellers, GIA GG & Certified brought me the news it was "GLASS."

The bidding process was straightforward, when I won my item I received regular email updates as to payment and shipping process. My item arrived at my door less than a week after the bidding ended, and was exactly as represented on the website - except that it was even better than I expected! Will definitely use EBTH anytime I am looking for items for our home.

I have been buying jewelry from EBTH for a few years now and I have NEVER been disappointed! The pictures are great in the auction, but when I get the pieces in the mail they are even better in person!! Everything always comes well packed and the jewelry is always high quality!! And if you ever have any questions at all . just email them .. and they respond right away! Great online auction site!! I have used several. EBTH is a favorite for sure!!

I purchased a Nagel serigraph that also came with a book on the artist. Instead of shipping the two items separately, they placed the book in with the framed print. The glass covering the print shattered because the book was allowed to move freely in the box. The print is gouged, scratched and ruined. I haven't bothered to contact them because prior experience with their "customer service" has been so terrible. So disappointing.

EBTH's photos of sale items is clear and detailed. The bidding mechanism has worked flawlessly for me over several years of experience. There is nothing I wish the bidding site could do that it doesn't already do. The EBTH people must have put a tremendous amount of thought and experience into their model.

With EBTH, you can pretend you're at a flea market or antique mall while online. I recently bought a sterling charm bracelet with: a 4-leaf clover, a harmonica, a camera, a scottie dog, etc. that's loaded with personality. I will enjoy wearing it. Items I've bought are generally well packed and arrive between a couple of days on up to 3 weeks.

My selling experience with EverythingButTheHouse has been quite stress-free. The website is well designed with an easy to use seller dashboard. They are professional and knowledgeable, and were recommended to me by an art collector friend. I'm very pleased at the prices my husband's art has sold for. Of course, there are all kinds of interesting items featured on their site, not just art. With so many customers using the site, it's an easy way for your item to find the right buyer.

I don't like the way the time is extended 5 minutes if someone bids at the end. That is not fair. There is a place to put your maximum bid and if you are outbid and time runs out the auction should be over. Put your max bid at what you are willing to spend and let the clock run. No extension. And then I was charged double the shipping then what was quoted. I would have rated 5 stars if it weren't for these two complaints. With that said I have purchased many items over the past few years and have been very happy with them.

We won a lot on this auction site, which was identified as two stained glass panels. However, when we received them, they were not stained glass at all. The colorful design consisted of a plastic or resin overlay on plain glass. They did not allow us to return them, citing the auction terms of as-is condition. However, we were not disputing the condition of the items, but rather the authenticity. They lied about the items. We will never buy anything on this website again.

Could you use a little extra money? Do you have jewelry that's been sitting in your jewelry box for years? Make good money off the stuff you never wear! That ring your aunt gave you that's just not your style is perfect for somebody else! EBTH can find that somebody for you! EBTH seems to be continuing its business with integrity. Almost all authentications are correct and never done to try to mislead. I have been very happy with my higher end purchases keeping in mind that one is responsible for their own due diligence before bidding. They certainly are more reputable than other on-line auction sites, IMO.

I was able to get a complete set of sterling sliver flatware, service for 12, plus all the serving pieces imaginable, for an absolutely unbeatable price. I'd been lusting for it for years, and I don't know what I did to get so lucky! That said, I have to mention some complaints about furniture shipping. I'll never bid on furniture again. The first piece was a Victorian slipper chair that arrived with a broken leg and I had to send it out for repair. The second was a loveseat that was delivered with grease stains and no seat cushions. Third was an important piece of art that arrived with a broken frame. I really love almost all the items I've purchased, but EBTH has a problem with the folks who work in the packing shed -- it would appear that they have no appreciation for the value of the items they're preparing for shipment.
