I have ordered from the company on 4 separate occasions and have never had a problem with refunds for one missing item and for 4 items damaged in shipping. Although it took awhile, they resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I have never received expired products from them and enjoy their wide and varied selection of international items. I would appreciate a better description of each item as some things I am interested in I am a little hesitant to purchase as I dont know exactly what they are used for. I will be purchasing from them in the future.

Placed this order on Jan 13,2010. With all attempts to follow up for 2 weeks not one single response.
I did cancel the order via email since I could not reach anyone nor would I get answers to emails.

I watched my bank account for a month and nothing was charged so I assumed they did cancel my order.

Not so fast, on June 20th 2010 I get a confirmation email that my package has shipped. I was not sure what it was until I went online and checked to find out I was charged $34 out of a $80 order I placed. Again, all attempts to contact them resulted in no response.

I emailed them and told them I will dispute the charge which I did, and asked for a return shipping label since package was left at door.

Absolutely nothing from them yet the only thing I was able to do with them was to place an order on Jan 13. In addition (and this is being investigated) but my debit card has been canceled 2 days after I sent them an email informing them I have disputed the charge with the bank, I had 2 fraudulent charged debited to my account, both small but no the less I ended the life of the card.

This place spells danger. Be aware and try to call or use the live chat see how many times you will get an answer.

I would NOT recommend them for anything period.

Have received three $75 and over orders within last 12 months to my full satisfaction. Merchandise (primarily Indonesian/Dutch articles) is of good quality and well within expiration dates. Fragile stuff like beschuit etc. will always be risky, no matter from where and how shipped/packaged (Randall's sells it in their Houston stores). Pricing is competitive and we will definitely remain regular customer.

After reading many negative reviews online, I was really hesitant to order anything from EfoodDepot .... but none of the Asian food items that I wanted and needed was available locally .... so I took a chance ..... happy that I did ... my order was packed and shipped the next day ... and arrived from California to Florida within 4 business days .... everything was fresh dated and packed well ... everything arrived safely and as ordered .... Very satisfied .....

On January 22, 2011 I placed an order here for a hefty snack purchase. Nearly $80.00 worth of mochi really... all stated to be IN STOCK and thus available for delivery.

On February 7, 2011 I emailed the site via their contact information page to ask about the status of my order. On February 13, 2011 I emailed them again. I still have not received an emailed response, as of February 17, 2011. Though on February 17, 2011 I was able to contact Customer Service Representative Niki via the online chat.

Natoshia: Question: Why hasn't my order been shipped?
Niki: How May I help You?
Niki: wts d order #?
Natoshia: 23161
Niki: its not being shipped yet.once it s being done we ll send u d tracking # to ur email addr....
Natoshia: It's almost been a MONTH since I ordered these items. They said everything was in stock. Why is it taking so long?
Niki: we r jus little behind because of the bad weather conditions we hd at oklahoma....we r sorry for the inconvenience...
Natoshia: An email of this delay would have been good customer service. I've been charged for this purchase and want SOMETHING to know i'm not being scammed.
Natoshia: Bad weather or not, an email after a week of not shipping is a good idea for ANY business.
Niki: we do apologize ... :(
Natoshia: Well at least I know now. Thank you for clarifying your problem. When can I expect normal business for your company to resume?

After checking the reviews here, I decided to cancel the order. About 30 minutes after the first conversation, I get Niki again.

Natoshia: Question: How can I cancel an order? Order Number: 23161
Niki: How May I help You?
Niki: i ll go ahead n send an email to my manager...she ll hv it cancelled it for u...thank you.
Natoshia: Please do so and i'll be checking in often... to assure it gets done and my money refunded.
Niki: oh yea...sure....

I'll let you all know WHEN I get the money refunded to my account. Or if I get expired goods delivered instead. Wish me luck!

I recently ordered a selection of Asian Gourmet packets as well as Poonjiajis Sliced Mango Pickle in Vinegar (Amba) - 35oz. Shipping was fast, but the mango pickle bottle was shattered, having been rolled into a cardboard sleeve, but with no cushioning. No big deal. When brought to their attention, they refunded the cost of the mango, with no refund for the weight surcharge or shipping, and told me they could not resend the item, which I would have preferred. When I went back on the sight, there is the product, ready to ship. I am unimpressed and will look for another supplier.

I spent 80.00 and had to throw out almost everything due to every item being past it's expiration date. I'm not going to bother spending the money to send it back in hopes of a refund, because if you saw what I received you would understand how it is unlikely I would get a refund + THE COST OF SHIPPING BACK. This company should be shut down. They are selling OLD and EXPIRED products. IT IS UNSAFE!!!!!!!!

I never had any problems with them until now. I order my favorite Indonesian items from this website on Sunday, July 24, 2016. I never got any confirmation about shipping information. I am waiting for 2 weeks, still no confirmation. Checking their website again, it is said packaged but never have the shipping information. I sent the email, no response. Complain to their website, no response. Call them, no response. Post my message in their facebook page, they removed my post without any resolve. Finally, I cannot stand it and call my credit card company. If you have bad management, then please don't charge anybody's credit card. It is just FRAUD!!!!!

I ordered quite a few items on a weekend and contacted them via live help on their website the next day to cancel the order. I was told that I would not be charged. A week later, i noticed that I was in fact charged yet nothing shipped. I contacted them again and told them to refund my card and that i have already contacted my credit card and filed a charge back. I was told that i would be refunded. However, the next day i received a Fedex tracking number that my items shipped. I contacted Fedex and told them that I would like the item to not be delivered and returned to the shipper. Fedex returned the item back and i contacted my credit card again and updated them with the information. This morning, i received a letter from my credit card that the charge back was decided in my favor.
If you run into issues with efooddepot, please do a charge back. I ordered items from them prior to reading reviews and it's scary how they are still in business after all the complaints i have been reading about them.

They didn't have the regular soy milk my daughter gets off WIC so the cashier had a bad attitude towards me from the beginning and I simply ask for a manager and the manager accommodate me with another soy milk the cashier rung me up but then put it back and said the manager should have not done so never in my life had I had such a bad experience in any store I went too and she refused to ring me up been waiting at her register for about 30 to 40 minutes while she is happily ring other customers up the manager was great because he was apologize his name is Robbie he was awesome but the cashier they need to take some classes or courses on how to deal with customers and if they are having a bad day go home because it reflects bad on the business Leah

I ordered $76 worth of snacks. They charged my card ,but didn't send me any confirmation for a week. I contacted them through the chat support, and they said the will ship my item that day. shipping confirmation received the day after,and 3 days after that I received my order.
6 items are expired, and 9 items are missing.
I will not order from them anymore. Poor customer service, poor packaging, missing and expiring items. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I am so furious I can’t even find words to express the disgust I have with efooddepot
First of all they shipped my product 1 week later than the day it was suppose to be, and to make it worse they have shipped the WRONG ITEM!!
After returning it back and contacting them with sending proofs finally they shipped the correct item but this time it’s more than 3 months PAST THE EXPIRATION DATE!!
This is hands down the worse company I have ever dealt with and I’m surprised it’s still running their business despite they are selling expired food!!.

We have discovered that this business has SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that this business handles your data, such as personal information or credit card details, with secure connection.
