I purchased a file cabinet that required European sized hanging folders & ordered them from Empire. They were exactly as described, arrived promptly and in good condition. I find that my standard sized file folders are less likely to hang up and are more easily filed and removed now that they have a bit of wiggle-room from the slightly larger hanging files.

Binders and clear folders are used to "file" both active and inactive papera like we use hanging folders and manilla folders in a file cabinet. Over the years I've learned that doing business Internationally from the States using the correct format and sized documents for presentations and correspondence is just as important as learning their customs. Most of the World uses the A4 sized paper which is our verion of letter size. My clients were always impressed that we didn't overlook those details. Trust me when I say that that you will never find another company that comes anywhere close to Empire's vast selection and assortment of all the products and brands from A to Z at prices that fit any budget. Personally, my favorites are the 2 Ring Binders that can also accomodate our
Letter size paper, and the quality and feel of their 24 and 28 bond A4 paper!

While I thought the item and shipping were a little overpriced, I ordered on a Tuesday evening and received my package on a Thursday morning - you can't beat that! The item was exactly what I needed and fits my IKEA desk perfectly. Definitely worth the extra bucks!

My guess is that it has nothing to do with Empire Imports and everything to do with Canada, but when I ordered 20 dollar item I had no clue that I will be charged $25 in duties on delivery. If I had any idea of this I wouldn't have ordered.

The Leitz 2 hole punch is perfect - and the Leitz 2 ring lever lock binder is awesome too. And finally a source for affordable A5 paper in the U.S. !! Customer service is machine smooth. Repeat customer - and I'll be back !

I made my order on the 28th of December. After waiting a few days I emailed them (1/8) and found that they were out of my product and was expecting it next week. Finally shipped on 1/13 with no tracking number. I finally received the package 1/21. When I order again from them I will give myself a month leeway to cover any other problems.

I had a hassle free transaction and my folders arrived within a week to my military APO address in Germany. Everything was as described.

The Fridge was faulty - it heats up and water leaks everywhere from the fridge and stays at the bottom. I had stored around £600 worth of food in the fridge had all went bad. I had called the company to explain that the fridge was faulty but I was told that my warranty doesn’t cover this issue, despite the product comes with 2 years full warranty. They also asked me for a £120 deposit in order for an engineer to come expect the fridge. I will never use this company off as it seems your products are nothing more then lies and a rip off.

Difficult to find (even in Germany) imported quality German product, shipped well packed.

I have been buying file books from Empire for about 15 years and always pleased with the quality. However, my latest order has spacing for the holders which matches neither A4 nor US paper specifications. Using my Eureopean hole puncher is thus impossible and the only way I can make use of the current order is with a one-hole puncher to get the proper spacing
