European Breakdown Cover

Easy to purchase on line.2nd year I’ve bought from this company but never tried to claim so can’t comment on this

Have used Eurobreakdown for a few years now as good pricing and fortunately never had to use them.

Required this insurance for my trip to France later this year, Eurobreakdown was able to provide everything I required and at a very good price.
Yes I would recommend them to friends and family

I had to arrange European breakdown cover at the last minute and it couldn't have been simpler!

We had a clutch problem on the Paris ring road, 3 adults and 2 kids in the car. Eurobreakdown sorted everything for us including our full hotel and travel expenses back home and safe repatriation of our vehicle, excellent service!

Two years ago we broke down on the way back from a skiing holiday in France. We were near Lyon so pulled off the motorway and rang for help. From the first call we were reassured that Eurobreakdown with Allianz would do all they could for us.

Within 5 hours we had been relayed to a garage, given options on whether we wanted to stay in Lyon whilst the car was fixed or carry on with our journey home. We opted to fly home from Lyon airport. Everything was arranged including taxis, secure storage for the car, flights including luggage and a driver to pick us up at Gatwick. We did not have to pay for a thing and someone was always on hand to relay our needs in French if we needed it. My car was brought back to our house approx 10 days later and was completely untouched.

I and my family were so impressed With Eurobreakdown and highly recommend them. We have told many friends about them and use them every time we drive abroad. Brilliant company!!

Last year my car decided to stop in Germany, luckily I always take insurance from this company. After I called them, they took everything over. It took a while to the recovery truck to arrive, but it happened on Saturday afternoon and at that time not even the grass growing in East Germany. So we have been taken to their Garage, then a taxi arrived which took us in a five star wellness hotel! I just couldn’t believe it. I have double checked on reception and they said yes we have got the room payed until Monday with breakfast . Next day we have decided to discover the area which was absolutely beautiful, anyway the garage was didn’t even touch the car until Monday afternoon, therefore they kindly extended our stay due to it. We didn’t have to pay not even a penny for the hotel, breakfast, recovery and for the taxi.On Tuesday we decided to go to the garage and cause some pressure on them, so 6 hours later they gave me the bill of 600 euros, which they asked in cash !! The agent of the insurance called us every day as well as the they try to speed the whole process with the garage too.

So the moral of the story is that, take the gold cover as they would’ve even pay some of my garage bill! It cost me ( silver cover) around £40 and just to compare it I ask the hotel for the price of one night stay , they said 200 euros, not to mention the recovery and the taxi. Every time when I go to holiday I always buy the gold cover. Because i know it now, that it’s worth it and £50-60 it’s nothing when you are in trouble.

on 4th August, I parted company with my motorbike on a sharp bend on a road in rural France. A severe incident that I walked away from with only minor injuries and my bike left with extreme but limited damage (making it un rideable). I was with two friends, on a B road in the Morvan (A French national park), on the afternoon of the first Sunday of the French national holidays.

Having immediately contacted my Bike Insurance company to register the incident, I then contacted Eurobreakdown. Who subsequently transferred me to Allianz Global Assist. I was put through to and helped by Claudio Calabrese. He performed some form of magic and a recovery vehicle arrived within 2 hours of me making the call. His calmness and kindness, efficiency and effectiveness were extremely comforting in what was a highly stressful situation. He made it his business to make sure that I was OK, and he cared.

When the my bike was recovered, my friends and I carried to our Sunday stop over. In the mean time Beth Sparrow organized my return home. And by 8pm Sunday evening had everything arranged. Again, she cared, was kind, efficient and kept me informed. Even calling me to apologize that it was taking her a little longer than she would have liked, to sort out the logistics. My return home the following day went with only one very minor hitch which, when Beth was made aware, she sorted immediately.

My bike was subsequently delivered to the KTM dealership in Nottingham for repairs last Monday, the delivery service contacting me to advise on progress.

In a world of automatous call centre operatives and being put on hold, Eurobreakdown
offered something that we have become unused to; truly human service and kindness.

After my motorcycle broke down in Spain I was recovered within 90 minutes and after an hour spent at the garage I was on my merry way. I even got a follow up call the next day to make sure things we still ok. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Eurobreakdown, fantastic service.
