FastSpring

After spending a week setting up my fastspring website, I was told on the help guide that the fees were different than what I was quoted originally on he phone. I feel like I was lied to.

FastSpring are a good payment processor , I've used them for a while and accepted a few payments which have settled into my account however I've had it primarily paused as I'm waiting on their response to a few questions which are unanswered after 30+ emails back and forth.

Both orders were delivered today by DHL. Still no response from CS.

Placed an order for an Akia Fire FL Studio via the
link on Image-Line's website. I made a purchase on 10th September and was advised the order would be despatched within 7 days but usually within 1-2 days. The confirmation email also said to look out for an email from UPS about delivery.

I have contacted CS on 3 occasions and not once have I received a reply. I also raised the issue with PayPal's Resolution Centre which was sent 5 days ago and I still haven't received a reply.

I purchased a 2nd Akia Fire on Sunday 22nd September, hoping I would get a response about both deliveries being shipped but as yet I've received no response.

I'm really hoping this review will get a response from FastSpring and both my purchases will be despatched soonest.

This company is scam - told a minor after already charging him 600 dollars he needed to pay 600 more. Then, when he wouldn't, they told him they would pay "half" if he would close the deal. What a joke!! My card was stolen and no charges should have been made on it. I have been sending emails for the last 12 hours. No one needs a 600 dollar clean up service.

I bought a Template from them back in March and paid them 60€. Now, 5 months later, I find an unauthorized transaction of 7,50€. Thinking it might be legit, I ignored it until today when they tried to take 191.89€ out of my account. It seems like they test you one week prior by booking out a small amount and if you don't do anything they steal more money 7 days later.

I can only agree with these reviews here. FastSpring is a huge scam and because of their fraudulent operations, I now have to block my credit card and order a new one. Seriously, before doing business with them, just do a web search on them. It's not hard to find that they are criminal.

Fastspring has resolved my issue after 4 months so they do not seem to be scam firm????

Thanks to Trustpilot for pursuing and reaching out to Fastpring about my issue. I am thankful to Fastpring team too who have sorted out the issue (though after4 months) and has refunded my money back. At least I can change my opinion that Fastspring is not a scam....

I've bought a book "Neo Soul guitar" which costed me 17.99$ at 21 of July 2019.The product contained PDF and supplementary audio files,which were located on their website and were available for customer to download anytime.Recently I entered as a customer to a website using my link sent to me via email and the product was erased completely and gone.So I wrote them an email(containing receipt and other purchase proof documents screenshots) to a support service and then the whole mess started - they started endlessly redirecting me to other emails(probably false)claiming that the current email is "no longer monitored".The process went on and on four times I think till I posted my claim on support department on their website.Guess what,their answer again was to post to a new email that I suppose has been generically spoofed by the company.Avoid purchasing anything from this service - they will never refund you and will get you frustrated posting to a non-existent made-up emails....

bad costumer support , no one reply .. more than 10 days , my account still on the test periode .

I have tried to pay 3 times and get error: "something is wrong, please try later... " After that i see the money 63.08 x 3 times - charged from my bank account. I have contacted support for refund, now 8 days without any replay.

scammer, when you buy a product for a 1 off charge they slip in a subscription to another product you did not want or ask for, this is ticked by default which is illegal in the EU. when you e-mail support they just send a standard reply and don't address the question you asked.

I have been using FastSpring Platform for 10 years now for my software business, and I have experienced their customer service and the improvements they make to their platform. I have had a great experience with the features and simplicity of the workflow they introduce to their platform. they work hard on keeping my customers happy.

I have read few of the negatives in the reviews presented here and don't think it reflects their service.

I use their platform for selling our software and to date I have always had replies to my concerns and my customers issues.

I recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable platform to sell products.

Trusted site, we are with them almost 3 years with issue

We switched from using PayPal as our online payment provider in January 2015 when the EU changed the VAT rules for all digital products and services. FastSpring were the only provider we could find that catered for this VAT change for small online businesses such as ourselves. The changeover was quite simple to integrate into our simple web pages, and as far as we're aware, it's all worked fine subsequently and we've never knowingly had any payment problems.

FastSpring processes payments on behalf of our company and is meant to pay the collected funds to us every 15 days. There was a contractual issue identified to us on Sep 6, 2019 which meant that our agreement with FastSpring was to come to an end. The payment of $179,949.98 that was due to be paid to us on Sep 16, 2019 has since not been sent despite numerous attempts to contact. Steven from the company stated that 70% of this payment would be sent to us on Sep 25, 2019. The same day, we were told that our bank account details were invalid despite the company having sent funds to the same account for past 3+ months. After sending the company our bank details the company has failed to respond or provide any updates on the matter since Sep 25, 2019. The phone number(s) listed online for the company do not reach any persons working for the company.

EDIT: They never replied to the email they requested us to send to them.

I've been using FastSpring for 10 years and never had a complaint. Whenever I needed assistance, they were prompt to reply. However, now I'm building a new website, it's all ready for release, except for the FastSpring integration. For that, I need the support team to create a new store associated with my account.

According to the FastSpring documentation, the procedure to create a new store cannot be done by the user (me), it must be requested with a ticket, and so I did raise one. This is when everything started to go wrong:

1. Requested a new store (ticket 00842752, in case anyone from FastSpring is reading)
2. They took 30 hours to reply and asked me what name should they use for the store's url. I wished they they mentioned that in documentation, so I could provide the information up front when I submitted the ticket.
3. Anyway, I replied immediately after receiving their email.
4. They took an additional 10 hours to finally create the store (a total of 40 hours since I asked).

Due to the slow response provided, I had my development paralyzed for two whole days.

While I was waiting, I found it particularly distressing the fact that there is no phone number or way of contacting them to file a complaint. That is why I had to come here, in the hope that someone would listen. I must say that only 3 hours after my post here, the store finally got created. Coincidence? Or is someone from FastSpring reading this?

For the time being, I'll leave the review with 2-stars, there's still a lot to be done during the setup of the store. I'll update the rating once the process is finished.

We have been using FastSpring for almost 2 years. They make it so easy for our end customers to buy the product in their own currency. If there ever are any issues, the support team responds in a timely fashion.

Accounting is very simple as well.

My only wish is that I had a system this simple and comprehensive for my Direct customers.

We have discovered that this business has SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that this business handles your data, such as personal information or credit card details, with secure connection. We found that the domain for this business is older than two years which could be an indication that this is a trustworthy business with an established customer base and experience in their field. We found that this business has an Instagram page, where they communicate with their customers using images and videos. This is usually an indication that the business has some visual aspects that it wants to showcase. We discovered that this business has a Wikipedia page. To us this shows that the business is credible and well known for its products, services or innovation.
