Flax Linens

I ordered the sheets in August. My card was billed immediately. I have not received the product. I have called 3 times, and the answering service does not work for the company. So they mark the issue as urgent and say a manager from the company will call you back. Guess what? No one calls you back! I have also emailed 10 times and never received a response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and never receive the product you ordered.

After much deliberation of where to buy new linens we decided on Flax Linens- it was a big deal for us to spend a lot of money on linens so it was incredibly disappointing when after waiting a month for the shipment to arrive, we received the wrong item (top sheet, no duvet cover). After about 20 attempts to reach the company via online chatting and phone calling, we disputed the the charge with our credit card company. What happens is every time someone at their customer service call center says they will have a specialist call back- but they never ever do. We are still in the middle of this and it is such a nightmare. Who wants to spend their time with this?? Cannot believe a company in this modern day can get away with being so corrupt!

We purchased a Ruffle Duvet Cover and I could not wait to get my tax refund to complete my set with a dust ruffle for my king bed. I was not sure whether to get the same color or mix it up so I booked a time with a design consultant via the website and they gave me some great suggestions. They even asked me for a photo of the bedroom along with some looks I was inspired by and gave me a great suggestion. I ended up with a Striped Bed Skirt which makes my room look like it belongs in some interior design magazine. Thank you for the personal care!

I ordered a set of sheets and a duvet and they charged my credit card on Sept 9, 2018. I received no tracking information. I reached out via email three times. I have called customer service twice and was given incorrect info. One person could not find my order the other person said there was no order. Both representatives said they would have someone call me back because they had limited visibility and no one has returned my phone call. I also sent you a facebook message. No response! Do not order from them.

Natalie was super helpful in aiding me in designing my custom bedding set. I reached out via the chat on the site and she responded to me within 10 seconds of asking a question. I was able to upload a photo of some images I found on Pinterest as well as my bedroom and she suggested a color combination made specifically for me. Flax Linens deserves a minus rating. It's not worth your time or money to do business with this "company." I ordered a duvet set on 9/12 with the understanding that it would arrive in 7-10 business days and was emailed that it was on the way. I never received a tracking number. When I tried tracking it on their website, I saw that it was delayed. By how long? No way of knowing. I called customer service and was told a "specialist" would call me back. I never received a call. I called numerous times to the same effect. I wanted the duvet set by a certain time and when it didn't come, I called again and asked that the order be cancelled. I was told that the cancellation would be received by a specialist. I think all of these calls were answered by an answering service, never an actual customer service person. Around October 8, I finally assumed I'd never receive the merchandise and called my credit card company to request a charge reversal. On October 22, I received the merchandise. Since I had needed something by a certain date and hadn't received it, I bought a duvet elsewhere. I read the Flax Linens return procedure on their website and sent an email saying I was returning it because it had arrived so late I'd had to purchase a replacement. I took the package in person to the return address because it happens to be in my city. Now Flax Linens has gotten the charge reinstated and I have to pay $244 for something I returned. They say they informed the credit card people about the return and that I should get a credit, but who knows if that'll happen? Shady, unresponsive and I didn't think the product was even well made. What a huge mistake buying from this website. I strongly advise buying from a legit company like West Elm instead.

I do not normally purchase things online, I generally just go to the store, but at that is getting harder the older I get. but after calling the company and speaking to their customer service and they explained in detail about the fabric, washing instructions, matching colors, I want to thank the staff at flax linens (especially Natalie!) for helping me with my purchase.

Loathe buying sheets because my mattress is extremely tall and so the pocket is often not deep enough. These guys made me a custom fitted sheet, when the sales guy said the word 'custom' my brain cringed because I was expecting an extreme price but they only charged me $20 bucks extra! My sheets always rip on the corners but I feel like these will last much longer

I would give them a zero if I could. The wrong size duvet was sent. We started the return process right away. We called the one 800 number to get a return address. When you call their 1-800 customer service number, you can only get a hold you of an answering service, nobody that actually works for flax linen. The answering service representative gave me the return address. My business partner was going to the post office that day and offered to mail the return package for me. Even though a copy of the email with the order confirmation and all pertinent information and my contact info was taped to the front of the duvet; just because she put our office address and not my personal address on the outside of the envelope, my return package sat in their warehouse unopened for a month and a half. I emailed them the day the return was sent and then four times inquiring about my return/refund. I finally decided to call their answering service again and asked the rep to have someone who works for Flax Linen to contact me. When the Rep from Flax Linen emailed me he was rude and snarky and kept telling me it was my fault that the refund has not been processed because the package was returned with my office address on the outside of the envelope. If anybody at flax linen had critical thinking skills, they might have checked their customer service emails and figured it out or better yet, opened the package to see the duvet and all my contact information along with original order number was taped to the product for a fast and efficient refund. Instead, I received no response and then a barrage of nastiness! It was Atrocious and I will never buy from this company again. Do not buy from flax linens when there are so many other, better, reputable companies with the same if not better product, that have real customer service agents you can speak to, who actually work from the company you're buying from and who do not treat their customers this poorly!

I normally do not write reviews but I truly appreciated the personal service I received. The product is great, I have ordered all my bedding from this company for the last 2 years, consistently my orders have impressed me, in particular the natural flax color. My entire house has morphed from bright and loud to natural and neutral which suits my personality much better. I have read the reviews from happy customers and some upset but my personal experience is this company was anything less then honest and forthright, I would not be writing this review.

There is something special about sleeping in these linen sheets. I have had them for over 3 months now. Whats different? I look forward to getting into bed. I go to sleep happier, I appreciate staying in bed longer, I ever love making my bed because I love how it looks after its all done up. Safe to say I have re-established my relationship with my bed again. More on this, I just got a divorce because I am a pretty much a typical workaholic and did not spend enough time home. When I moved into my new place I needed to get the basic things, a mattress and some good sheets. Its something to look forward to go home to.

I'd give this zero stars if that was able to get my review published. I saved up and was so excited to get some linen bedding. Tried to exchange the duvet set for another color and 3 months later I still have nothing to show for my money. Flax Linens has my money and their product and I can't even get someone to talk to me. I keep getting told a message will be sent in urgent status so that I can receive a call back, and NOTHING! No phone calls for weeks from their end even though I have now been trying everyday just to talk to somebody for almost a month.

Ordered duvet set which was to deliver in 2 weeks. It is now over 4 weeks late and nobody can tell me where it is or what is being done. One of the items on that order I had to cancel, so they issued a store credit. I used that credit on a sheet set, and now that order is two weeks late and nobody can tell me anything. I've tried several times by phone and email, and all I get is apologies and empty promises to check and get back to me asap. 7 days now since the last apology and empty promise by email. Having to dispute the charges now with my credit card.

I ordered 4 linen pillowcases in Oct 2018. Flaxlinens.com charged my credit card, but I never received them. After many emails and 2 phone calls leaving messages with the answering service (no customer service), the owner Yuliia responded via email claiming it was lost in the mail and would have another order sent. After never receiving this supposed 2nd shipment I left many emails and called 4 more times but never received a response Or a credit of $100.80. Yes, I am out by $100.80! I agree with the "Do not order from them" review, as well as "the worst shopping experience". I do all of my ordering online with so many companies that will bend over backwards to ensure you are satisfied. Please do not order from this unethical company. If "no star" rating was possible, that would have been my rating.

They refunded the money, but they are sending me emails saying the 'lost money on me' and I must 'enjoy writing negative reviews' even though I've showed them UPS shows it delivered to the wrong city. They want me to remove my negative review now that they issued a refund. And, no comment on my 4 unanswered inquiries trying to resolve it. I wonder how many other people they've pressured to remove bad reviews? In my opinion, this company has a HUGE ISSUE with shipping, and responding to inquiries about missing things. If you DO get them to respond and refund, then it feels like a weird kind of bullying to remove the review. I do not like to leave negative reviews, and have only written positive reviews for good products and service until now. But I write this review as a service to potential customers. If I would have known these facts, I would have either not placed the order, or placed it knowing it was a huge gamble and could be a lot of work. Also I noted their rating on BBB is D+. From what I can tell, their product is good, IF you receive it. They just need to correct their HUGE shipping and customer service issue to continue to do business.

I have ordered linen bedding from west elm, restoration hardware & pottery bar and I must say that flaxlinens has the best fabric and sewing quality. I just received my ruffled duvet set / european shams / ruffled bed skirt and they are so lovely and fit my bedroom perfectly. My order arrived within 12 days of ordering, looking fwd to ordering more items from this company. I wanted to write this review because I personally think these days people only tend to write reviews with there is a mistake but in this case when they did everything right, why not give them some love?

Their site emphasizes over and over how this is European linen and has a deeply buried mention that the product is actually manufactured in China. Delivery takes forever, and when you call you never reach a live person until at one point a guy answers on what seems to be his cell phone and simply argues with you about why your tracking information isn't updating. They tell you that the package has shipped so they charge your credit card, when in fact it is being made from China at that moment, in an untrackable fashion and may not actually ship for days. Upon receiving the sheets, days later than promised, I find that the hems are the narrowest possible, that this is not premium quality at all, and that the pillowcases, for example, barely fit my pillows. They have skimped wherever possible to give you the. least amount of fabric. They do not have a Better Business Bureau rating, nor is it easy to contact this company by email or phone as they do not return customer service inquiries whether you make them by phone or on their website. It took me more than 20 calls to reach a live person as it just went to voicemail. This turns out to be a very fancy website that is a front for a guy's small home business. Do some more shopping, including on Etsy, and you will find genuine linens that are actually manufactured and assembled in Europe. I found some much better ones from Eastern Europe. Severely disappointed.

I think some of the reviews here are from competition trying to make this company look bad because I have bought linens on 3 separate occasions from them and have never had any issues reaching customer service they always respond to any questions between immediately and 12 hours from any of my emails. I just wanted to write this review to reassure everyone that flaxlinens.com is a fine and upstanding company

After waiting for over a month for my duvet and contacting customer service and never receiving a reply, I finally received duvet from CHINA. No where does it state MADE IN CHINA. Also, I had a custom order and was charged for the extra ruffle and did not receive it. Can not get anyone to contact me. DO NOT PLACE ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY.

my package arrived from europe 10 days from making my order. packaging was minimal but what was inside was perfect. The linen quality was comparable to coyouchi linens I had ordered previously but I calculated them to be almost half the price. I am impressed the value and quality of flax linens products and look fwd to doing more business with these folks. I ordered 5 Piece Chambray Set and replaced the top sheet with belgian linen mid grey
