Hi All,
I also had to cancel my tickets, here are a few tips that will speed up the process. I have spoken to my airline first and received an authorization code for the cancelation, this speeds up the procedure for the booking agent (flugladen.de). You can imagine they have plenty of work to do now. After applying for the refund, the airline will process it in a time of up to 3 months (info from Air China) so have some patience. The fact that you are not being responded to asap does not mean your request is not being processed. Also when contacting flugladen.de do it via their webpage panel. I have tried to write them an email and never was successful in getting an answer. Today after applying via their customer panel (you have to log in on their webpage) I have received an answer and confirmation within an hour from sending my request. I know it will take time but we can all do some prep to help them speed up the refund procedure!

Worst customerservice experience.

First of all, I only got a reply to my query after 1,5 months. Besides, they have cut the telephone line so the only way to contact them is via email. That is unacceptable. Secondly, my flight is already in the past so it was urgent to come back to me before the actual flight. I am aware that due to the impact of Covid19 things are more intense and difficult, but you need to get in touch with me at some point. So the thing is I have had a reservation with Air Canada and it clearly stated that cancellations will be granted without any applied charges. Since I made my booking through this website, I obviously could only rely on their customerservice to further proceed with my reqest. I have asked for the annulment of my flight because I got stuck in Colombia. How on earth was I meant to travel to Chile with Corona going on and every country closing their borders?! All in a nutshell, I am deeply dissapointed and would not recommend their agency for any travel in the future.

Did they run away with the money?
My flight was due at the beginning of April, the airline cancelled the flight at the end of march and Flugladen notified me just two days before the flight with an email saying that they would later reimburse the money.

One month into this and so far nothing from this agency. I am beginning to believe that they want to keep it until the government rules in their favor. Still 4 stars from trustpilot despite the negative reviews.

And flugladen is not the only one. Next time direct with the airline

On 15 March 2020 I booked ticket from Frankfurt to Mumbai but Flugladen cancelled it as there were not able to provide me with eticket information. They cancelled my ticket 2hrs before departure causing lot of mess and inconvenience.
They mailed me that I will get my refund but now it is more than a month and I am trying to reach them to get refund but no response from Flugladen help service.

I booked a ticket between Germany and India. Due to Covid-19 pandemic airlines are not operating. Trying to contact customer support from last month but no response. Airline saying that they are not responsible to change/cancel date and told to check with agency. But when I checked booking status in website it displaying the itinerary is ended.

Just like all the other reviews, flight got cancelled due to COVID, sent many emails and facebook messages over the past 2 months and no response. No options to reschedule or get a refund. Will be taking legal action soon if we don't get any refund or response. Terrible travel agency.

Worst agency. Never ever book from flugladen. They don't have customer service to answer any queries. No updates, acknowledgement provided for mails. Horrible experience. It's been one and a half month and i am chasing them for my money. No result.

I will take legal help soon.

I have been trying to reach Flugladen for over a month now. I am stuck in Indonesia and I would like to change my return flight. They just keep resending the same email saying "They cant help at the moment, will get back to me shortly..." BUT IT HAS BEEN A MONTH. I do not approve of this kind of customer service.

About 8 weeks ago my husband and I booked a flight from the Philippines to Germany (one way) because we were stuck in the Philippines. We paid 2500€(!). Two hours after our booking we got the information that Flugladen has to cancel our booking.. only two hours later! But of course they already took the money... we’re still waiting for our refund!

I booked a two-way ticket from FRA to SGN and back. The return flight supposed to happen on the 31st of March, but Emirates canceled the booking due to covid-19 pandemic. They sent me an email asking if I wanted a full refund on 30th of March (see below). I immediately agreed. So far there has been nothing in my bank account it is almost a month. No further replies despite several emails and phone calls.

I am not gonna be surprised if they now say "oh we are so sorry we didn't receive your email, the pigeon delivered it to Hogwash". This company acts like a joke and a thief. They have no credibility and will turn and run with your money at any moment.

i canceled my Trip 45 days ago and they didn’t refund my Money. Also they didn‘t read my Emails and i received some auto reply Emails which were not related to my Requests. customer service didn‘t answer me at all. the worst experience ever had. i am student and in this situation i need my money but they didn‘t read my Emails.

Waiting more than 5 weeks for refund.
Waiting for a refund from them for over five weeks now. No reply yet. Airline company already issued refunds to Flugladen weeks ago!
Facebook messenger and phone are switched off. Will never book with them again.

I bought a round trip ticket via flugladen.de, a return ticket canceled by etihad. when I want to cancel through managing reservations, on the web it is written I only order one-way tickets. flughaden.de is really cheating, so I can't cancel or re-order my return ticket.

This travelagent is disgusting! I have been waiting for my refund for 8 weeks! No phone can be reached, my email hasn’t been answered. I hope this company wont get bankrupt and i won’t see my money again.Next time better book directly from the airline.

Horrible experience... We couldn't fly due to carona.. I was too sick to fly on the day and then our flight was cancelled from Singapore to Brisbane.... I have tried to contact them but no response... Singapore Airlines has already said all customers would get a refund but from Flugladen no response... The companies that are looking after their customers now making it easy to get a refund are those that will survive this... Instead of facing the customers Flugladen has removed the ability to phone them... So it's not only a bad response but a faceless one... Disgusting!!! Don't book with this service... I certainly never will again.

I booked a return flight between Berlin and Hanoi for 620EUR in total. The first flight from Berlin was canceled without any prior notification from Flugladen. It means that I will not able to take the round trip from Hanoi to Berlin as well. Now I am trapped in Berlin and wasted a lot of money for the rent and foods and still couldn't contact to the customers service.
They sold the tickets that shouldn't be sold, it is obviously scam and against the law.

Flugladen ist nicht professionel und unsympatisch!
Ich habe meinen Flug durch Flugladen gebucht. Am 12. März habe ich eine Email von Fluggesellschaft, dass mein Flug in Juni storniert und umgebucht wurde. Hier stand, dass ich mit meinem neuen Plan nicht zufrieden sein sollte, kann ich die 3. Party ( Flugladen) einen Kontakt nehmen. Das habe ich gleich gemacht. Ich schickte eine Email zu, da sie telefonisch nicht erreichbar waren. Ich bekam nur eine Email zurück, stand dass es nur ganz kleine Änderung gab, und daher musste ich die Änderung akzeptieren. Ich habe weitere Emails geschrieben, da ich ganz unzufrieden war. Mit meinem neuen Plan müsste ich nachtsüber in einem fremden Flughaven mehr als 10 Stundenlang wegen "Layover" da bleiben. Ich müsste auch ein Tag früher schon fliegen.
Mit meinen Beschwerden haben Flugladen nicht ernst genommen. Meine weitere Emails wurden nicht beantwortet. Ich musste mich selber darum kümmern und Fluggesselschaft anrufen und berichten, dass Flugladen keine Verantwortung nehmen, obwohl ich mein Ticket bei ihr gekauft habe.
Ich bedauere nun, dass ich mein Ticket bei Flugladen kaufte. In der schwierigen Zeit hat Flugladen einfach ihre Kunden verlassen.


I have booked my flight through Flugladen. On March, 12th, i received an email from the Airline, state that my flight in June was cancelled and rebooked. I received new schedule and should i not be satisfy with the schedule, i can contact third party ( Flugladen) to proceed my refund or reschedule my flight.
Since the flight chance took place without my consent and i received a really bad plan ( overnight layover for more than 10 hours and i need to depart a day before ), i bid my refund right away. The Answer from Flugladen was far from sympathetic. They said that they didn't have any alternative because the chance of my flight was minor. How ridicule it is! Imagine that i needed to stay awake in foreign airport overnight to continue my flight but flugladen just underestimate my case.
I sent other emails, yet to no avail. Flugladen doesn't response any. They simply don't care about their customer. I needed even take care of everything myself, include to call the airline and report that flugladen didn't take my case.
So my suggestion : never use flugladen. They simply abandon you in times of difficulty.
