I am very happy with my Freesat Recorder and service, I have Purchased two over the last 3/4 years, As for ordinary Freeview TV, it is useless in the Weymouth area where I live, also the channel list is very poor compared with other Regions, the reception also in my local area is null and void in the spring and summer months, due to a spinney running behind my property with a lot of very tall trees, the owners will not lop the top off them ( local Junior school ), it is just getting possible to get some reception with Freeview now as all leaves have been blown off now. In spring it will start to get worse again, All I can really say is, thank god for Freesat, it has made viewing so much better, and many more channel's.

I have been using Freesat for at least 8 years and in the past I haven't had any problems but during the last eight months some times the signal breaks up and on some occasions I have had to stop watching. Usually the reception is excellent but when it goes wrong it is serious. As you use a satalite signal I can't understand why this happens. Apart from that I prefer your service and don't want any other. I hope you can suggest a solution. Thanks

P.S. I did not purchase my receiver in June of this year

Even though recording is set up to start 10mins before and 10 mins after, I STILL sometimes miss beginnings and ending.

I think free sat is good as sometimes you get a few more +1 channels than on free view, the only pain is when it's raining sometimes you loose the picture.

I have had freesat for years and the service is brilliant, what's best its free.
Its the simplest way to record and watch programs when you want to watch them.

having used a Satellite system for over 20 years, not just Sky, I am delighted with the facilities available. I use a Humex system for my connection. Well done to all concerned.

Like many users, I would like to be able to a sports facility expansion, and I very much favour the Pay for Event philosophy.

I am perfectly happy with the boxes, and the content.

I was initially very excited to get Freesat as I had Freeview before,however I started to lose channel quite quickly despite retuning my Humax receiver,I have now got an Icecrypt satellite receiver and I have not looked back since.disappoin

I love Freesat as the device I have although old works well I have two Panasonic televisions with built in Freesat and would change this for anything else.
The only thing I would like to see more new channels and less channels doubled up

This is the second Humax I have had the first one failed 2 weeks out of the Gaurenttee and Humax did not want to know the one I have now I took an extra Gaurenttee but am having problems with it

i think freesat is a very good product ,when it works , my humax 1100s is the third unit in three years, the first failed on the pcb and the second failed on the hard drive, at present this new unit is working fine, there is no point purchasing direct from humax as they will only collect Monday to Friday , so I purchase local only

I have used Freesat services for over 5 years. This was initially used as a back up to Sky. However, I was given a new style Humax box & was really impressed with the range of services/facilities available in addition to the Freesat channels. I have since cancelled my Sky subscription & now use my Humax box for all my TV viewing.

i have had freesat for over six years,I really like it,I like the HD quality,over twenty channels in HD,the selection of channels,some from abroad in english speaking format.A real alternative to cable that I would never waste my money on,have amazon and netflix and not a fan of box sets,how much absolute drivel can one watch.

I did not purchase from Freesat all i did was purchase a box from a retailer. Had problems with signal strength it seems that Freesats signal is not as strong as Skys had to switch to a dish nearer to my box.
