False advertising regarding delivery
After ordering a sofa over the phone and giving my Isle of Wight address and paying the deposit I was told it would be with me in 3/4 weeks. After 2 weeks I was told there was a delay getting the stock from the supplier which wasn’t a problem at all so said I’d wait. After continual phone calls to the company I was eventually told after the 7th week that it would be collected on the Friday and they would be delivering it to me the next week (week 8) on phoning them on the Tuesday as they hadn’t called as promised on the Monday I was told it was out for delivery on the Wednesday (week 8). I sold my sofa so we were left with no sofa which again wasn’t a problem as new sofa arrive the next day, or so I thought. On checking my emails (no phone calls at all in spite of them insisting they had. I had call log so knew I had not missed any calls) I received an email at about 1148 to tell me that the delivery people had realised I was on the Isle of Wight and were unable to deliver to me! This being at 1148. After numerous emails (the lady emailing me would not call me nor accept any incoming calls) I was told I needed to pay £150 delivery as appose to the £85 previously told. My appeal at getting them to offer the extra delivery charge (£65) on goodwill went unheard and eventually on the Friday I paid under protest the £150. Only to get an email after several calls by myself to them and then them saying they couldn’t get a delivery to the Isle of Wight so would have to cancel the order this after 9 weeks. I booked the order over the phone gave my address every time I called and they said it was a “trainee error”. Sorry but trainee error or not on ordering, after the many calls I made to them I’m pretty sure they would have noticed my address as I stated it every time. I would never recommend this company for several reasons.
Misinformation on their website
Customer service is abysmal
Communication from the company is dire amongst other reasons.
Their acknowledgment for errors on their part is non existent and to be honest I found the whole experience very very stressful and completely upsetting it has caused me no amount of upheaval.
I live on the Isle of Wight, we have deliveries every day with Arctic lorries, fuel lorries coming over, 2 ferry companies come to the island and to take a van myself would have cost me less than £100 return but they apparently couldn’t deliver here. They deliver to Ireland but for love nor money couldn’t get to the island, an hour boat journey away. On their website it states they deliver here but they actually told me they don’t! So why on earth put they do on their website?! Very misleading and false advertising. So after 9 weeks I was left £150 down, had no sofa and 3 children the youngest who is 3 and we were left sitting on the floor. After several more phone calls and a week later I eventually got my £150 delivery refunded. But I would never in a million years deal with this company again nor recommend them.

Best company to get sofas from exactly how the description is shown online. I have bought a 2 seater and 3 seater in grey very comfortable and animal friendly delivery man was really nice aswell overall best customer service thank you

My first time using furnico and lets just say I will never use again bad communication as I had to contact them for a update ordered my sofas in Feb but I did personally ask them to deliver my sofas after the 10th March as I had new flooring being put down so they should of already been in the warehouse anyway rang up on the 11th March they said I will get it delivered within 7 days mid week I thought I would ring up then they said my sofas was out of stock so basically I believe they sold my sofa to someone else as they had since Feb to get it?picked a alternative then they said won't be in the warehouse until 25th march and gonna take another 2 or 3 weeks for delivery I currently have no sofas so you could see how stressful i would be in the end could not deal with there lies and being unprofessional so cancelled my order and going with a sofa company more local and can get it delivered in a matter of days

Order a sofa on Sunday evening and rang Monday to confirm, when we rang Monday we were told the sofa we had ordered wasn’t available and the website hadn’t been updated. Fair enough we looked for another sofa, 3 sofas later and they were all out of stock. We eventually chose one that was in stock and ordered that. The lady who was dealing with this was very nice and helpful.
The following Saturday we got a call saying they would deliver the next day, great we thought very quick, but Saturday evening we got a call from the delivery team apologising and to say the sofa they were given to deliver was a different colour and would we be prepared to accept it with a discount. We declined as we had chosen the colour because that’s what we wanted, the guy on the phone apologised and said he order the correct colour but it will be 7-10 days. Fine we wasn’t expecting so quick so agreed. We got another call to say they had located the right coloured sofa but in another warehouse and they were arranging for it to be delivered to the local warehouse.
We then got a call to arrange deliver for Tuesday, just 9 days after we ordered it. I was Impressed with the speed from ordering to delivery, we were expecting 3/4 weeks.
Sofa arrived Tuesday. Driver delivered to door step and asked me to sign the invoice. Read the paper and it was asking me to sign to say it was in perfect condition and that I accepted liability for any damage from this point. The sofas were in two boxes on the doorstep (drivers unable to enter property pay due to covid-19), I questioned this with the driver and he said unpack them and check them and he’d wait which I did, The sofas were in perfect condition and when built were really good quality. delivery guys were very good although they couldn’t enter my property they got the boxes right to the door for me.
Having used the sofas for the last day I can say the quality is very good and they are very comfortable. Don’t be put off by the low price the quality is very good.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Bought a sofa in Feb was told it would be 6-8 weeks delivery I am still waiting on my delivery! Staff are unhelpful and rude! Customer service is non existent! I have had to call several times for an update on order and even then staff have been no use! One of the managers has even hung up on me! Honestly wish I had went with another company worse experience ever now I'm not even sure I want sofa reading the other reviews about issues with there products!

Reply to furnico living is that some sort of a joke? I spoke to a manager who was no use atall and they hung up!

Update and reply yes I have since spoken to manger Zara who was supposed to call today with a delivery date but I am still awaiting that call. The information I gave was not incorrect i was hung up on previously by one of the supervisors.

Easily the worst company I have ever dealt with we ordered a couch 3 months ago on the basis it would be delivered within 6-8 weeks, they emailed us after 6 weeks stating there had been a delay in shipment from China and it would be a further 2 weeks maximum and would we like to pick another couch request a refund or continue waiting as it was only an extra 2 weeks we decided to wait however 1 week later they moved the goalposts once again with an email stating the couch would be arriving in UK on 18th may 2021, 3 months after originally placing order, so I called back to question why it kept changing and getting put back to be met by an insufferable infuriating woman on the phone with zero customer service skills who offered zero help and insisted I had no rights to a refund or partial discount due to the fact they had already offered me to cancel 2 months ago when they stated in that same email that my wait would only have been 2 weeks from then. I managed to get past the same rude girl that answers everytime to get to her supervisor who obviously trained the girl as she had zero customer service skills aswell both of them stating it was her decision not to go ahead with compensation with no valid explanation why and hanging up the phone whenever they didn't have an answer for me. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF HASSLE AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.


In response to furnico; I already requested to speak to the manager Zara a couple of weeks ago to 've told she isn't based in office and she is in meetings all the time I was told she would email me and phone me when she was available this was over 2 weeks ago no calls, no emails and no messages left atall.

Very bad customer service not a nice person what so ever ordered a sofa was going to be 3to4 weeks delivery but got it within a week not the one I ordered tho said it was same colour same style no nothing like it it is like 2 boxes can’t even use it as suffer with my back so paying all that money for nothing won’t even bring right one would never buy off them again

13/4/2021 Had sofa 2 weeks called to complain material not on right staples missing very badly made still waiting for complaints dept to call me 8 days later still nothing now sent asking for my rights to be sanctioned and for them to collect sofa and to cancel my agreement let's see if they reply to this.....asked today 14/4/2021for them to cancel my agreement but they asked for more photos unbeleavable they had already the photos this has been updated as requested by furnico as the dates wasnt right now cancel the agreement respect my rights....

After ordering and paying a deposit i got a phone call after 2 weeks to tell
me that they was increasing the price by £100 needless to say I was not
impressed and was told i could cancel so i did. Have not received my deposit back. I would not recommend this company at all. The customer service is diabolical

****Further to this review I have spoken to the company who have advised if I remove this review I will get my deposit back. Trading standards have advised this should be refunded regardless so I will not be removing the post.
