I just purchased my second awesome bike from Giantnerd since late September. In each case, Jon wrote a 'best wishes and thank you' message on the inside flap of the box my bike was shipped in. As with my first bike purchase, I took a photo and distributed it to my family and friends letting them know that this is how a company wins a customer for life. The bike is in absolute awesome condition and a dream to ride in the Seattle area. For some reason, I can not stop buying bicycle stuff from Giantnerd. :) From a totally satisfied customer! put together a 19 lb 50cm team frame with parts I had laying around . I have also had great reliability with other tommaso bikes/frames, 5000 plus miles on a modified 17 lb mondial 20 speed with absolutely zero problems ... solid feeling and fast machines but I also must add that the aluminum is cruel to the body on long rides.

I purchased a Tommaso Corvo road bike in March 2011 to replace my 11 year old Cannondale. And to say the least it has not been a good experience. After just 700 miles the right shifter went out on the bike. Cost for repairs was $270. Giantnerd will not honor the warranty.

I wish I could write two reviews: 1. initial purchase, 2. return process.

The initial purchase was great. Unfortunately the item wasn't true to fit (Northface shoes run BIG! You should order a full size smaller than normal)... but: that's not Giantnerds fault. However, when I returned the item, I had to front the shipping cost, and they did NOT have the item in the correct size. Now have been waiting a week, and hadn't gotten ANY communication from them after getting an RMA (return authorization) etc etc.

The returns process made the whole thing sour. If I had known that I needed a 10.5 in the Northface from the beginning, then it would have all been fine.

I bought this aggraziato (special) as a second bike, I own already a Volo from Giantnerd and my choice was to buy a second Volo but you did not have it my size 51. This bike came on time with geniusbuild and it took me 15 minutes to have it on the road. I have to say that I cannot see the difference between these 2 bikes. Both excelent to ride. Except for the gears, SRAM Force for the Volo and 105 for the Aggraziato. I think SRAM force is better than 105 but after a few rides it was not a concern.

I've recently dealt with the new management team at giantnerd (Michael Eddy) and his very capable customer service extraordinaire Chris. Together they have made my experience pleasant, professional, and most of all, informative. My first attempt at contacting Giantnerd.com I got Mike directly. It was a Saturday and he was staying in to take some calls that might filter through. If that isn't the first sign of dedication, I truly don't know what is. He proceeded to address all of my questions and gave me very sound advice on how I should proceed in purchasing my new road bike. Their prices are incredible, and they are constantly lowering them even further with additional sales and year end incentives. I missed a sale date once and Mike was kind enough to make other arrangements to ensure I was happy and satisfied.

Furthermore, I had originally purchased the Tommaso mondial and rode it around comfortably without any worries under their 7 day test ride policy. I ended up returning the bike and upgrading and they gave me no issues whatsoever. Highly recommended, and would most certainly do business again. Whoever the owners were before, they are thankfully no longer around because Giantnerds.com is in very capable, friendly, and professional hands.
