Granite Transformations

We recently had our kitchen renovated by Granite Transformations in Rockingham. We had a new granite bench top and kitchen cupboards replaced with new drawers. The end result was absolutely amazing and everyone loves our new kitchen. Everything was arranged for us from the plumbers to the electricians and all the staff from management to carpenters were so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The advice given helped us enormously with the design of our small kitchen. If you are looking for granite tops for your kitchen/bathroom or laundry then we can highly recommend Granite Transformations Rockingham.

I have had two separate jobs done by GT. A kitchen bench top, and later a bathroom bench top.
Both jobs they can quickly to quote, submitted reasonable quotes and then later did fantastic jobs.
One bench was more than 3.6m long, and no granite supplier was able to do and installation without a join. GT did the job and the join is almost invisible. (So perfect)

My kitchen has only lasted 6 years and totally fell apart.Bench tops cracked and cabinets all fell apart. Quality is below standard.They also didn't honner warranty.go elsewhere.Very dodgy and poor quality.

Granite Transformations (Goulburn/Canberra): the work looks great, but the cupboards and drawers left full of rubble, dust and screws (finally admitted it was their tradespeople but did try to blame it on the plumber) and left rubbish in the skip of our other tradies. Reception staff lied about following up, accusing us of things we never said. Refused to deal with the issue and once paid, refused to deal with our concerns.

We had a kitchen makeover with Granite Transformations in Fyshwick ACT in November 2016 and we NEED some minor outstanding work. Needless to say our kitchen is stunning however we have not had any follow-up work contact from the company. We have been ignored by the new owners and the old as well, there have been many promises that to date haven't come to fruition!
THE BRAND NAME has been tarnished here in Canberra with new licence owners not honouring warranty work. We have so many people commenting on our kitchen and until December 2016 we WERE full of praise for Granite Transformations Canberra! Would we recommend Granite Transformations to our friends, family and neighbours? NO, and we haven't - not now anyway! We live in an area where houses are just over 20 years old and people are looking at their options to have a new kitchen or a makeover. Even though our kitchen is beautiful, how can we recommend the company when this is how it treats its customers once they have your money! The after sales service has been non-existent and when a new franchise owner takes over they are also buying the good will, the company's reputation and hence any outstanding orders and repair work. 6 months have passed and now we will get serious about exposing and expressing our dissatisfaction with the way we and others have been treated by the Granite Transformation's brand.

I had Granite Transformation install new countertops about 4 and a half years ago. There was a problem with the edge chipping within a year and it was fixed. However, since that time many rough places have shown up on the surface. I have requested repairs and have been turned down. Do no business with this company because they do not stand behind their product.

Had engaged GT Gold coast to update benchtops due to wear marks and for some reason prior owner installed a dishwasher and put a 40mm hole in benchtop to get power to dishwasher. Saw some reviews questionable however salesperson assured us that there were new management and new owners. Allowed 2 full days for the replacement of the benchtop as we were going away however it any problems we were in full phone contact. Had to disconnect plumbing and appliances for the work and electrician when he was to reinstall cooktop was to put a power point under sink. Then on day of replacement instead of spanning the work over 2 days they crammed it all in one day. The finished product looked good however at 9pm when the work was about to end the tradesman realised that there was no power point for the dishwasher under the sink so he drilled a 40mm hole in the benchtop. They didn't even call us before the hole was drilled. How stupid could they have been? We complained to GT and they sent their tradesman around but he suggested too hard to fix and no solution was given. Not one follow up call or anything. To cover their bad mistake we ended up not paying the final bill, and we ended up putting a pop up powerpoint to cover the hole. They should of at least suggested this but we heard nothing from them and no solution.

New bench top less than 2 years old, warping and coming apart at the joins, steer clear if you want a long lasting product. Have contacted on numerous occasions with no reply.

From day 1 they were pleasant and professional to deal with. For the price, I was extremely impressed. Kitchen looks brand new, and has given our property incredible value. Would highly recommend!

It was a shaky start with the initial quote being ridiculously expensive and confusion with paperwork between the Salesman and the Installer but it all came together in the end.
They started work on the agreed day and finished on they day predicted and I couldn't have asked for a better; more conscientious and more polite team of people to do the job.
My new kitchen and laundry look great and the soft close draws and cupboards are a dream not to mention the new built in laundry basket and waste bins that have replaced an obstacle course.
Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

First contact with Kurt, walked through our needs and landed on a practical solution very quickly, his experience was obvious. Easy to deal with, no fuss.
Next contact was head office, arranging times etc, all good very friendly
Out Customer service contact Jeff rang to explain we may experience a delay with install due to illness, we landed on a mutually suitable outcome - No hassles, no fuss
Finally, our installer did his bit, was methodical, took his time too get it right first time - I would put him in the true "Tradesman" category, great job

I have had 2 jobs recently completed by Granite Rockingham.
The first job was to put a buffet in the dining room with a Granite top with a mix of doors and drawers.
It has totally transformed my dining area, storage to spare with slow close hinges so my grand daughter cant trap her fingers.
Last week my my second job was completed.
My husband and I asked them to build a huge bank of drawers after seeing how successful the dining room turned out.
We have 16 drawers 4 blanket drawers and 12 medium drawers with a high gloss top.
It has made our room look so much bigger. They also supplied matching handles to our new bedside drawers, so they all look the same.
We found ALL the staff especially Kevin went above and beyond the usual customer service.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Granite Transformations Coffs Harbour installed a beautiful kitchen for us 9 years ago with a 10 year warranty but now, the cornices installed by one of THEIR contractors, are falling off the ceiling and they don't want to know about it because, as they say, the business has changed hands (not OUR problem). We dealt with a business, NOT who owns it, and have a warranty. Whoever bought the business is also not OUR problem. Our contract was with a business, Granite Transformations, despite the 1,2 or 3 owners who may have come along in the meantime. I will be taking them to the Department of Fair Trading, as the company, at that time should, in my opinion, still be held responsible under our original warranty agreement with Granite Transformations.

Everyone from the person who quoted to their installer, electrician and plumber was prompt, efficient, helpful and courteous as were the office staff. A very pleasing result.

We engaged Waratah Kitchens having used the Granite Transformations product approximately 20 years back. Dimitri and Luke are thorough professionals, good at their work, punctual, tidy and respectful. Of all the renovation projects we undertook in our new home, our experience working with Waratah Kitchens surpassed all others. Very pleased with the result. Thank you.

Granite Transformations Canberra - 12 months later I am still waiting for them to repair/replace the new kitchen I've had installed.
I hate my kitchen and fear the unprofessional workmanship of Granite Transformations Canberra has reduced the sale price of my property. I have been left with broken floor tiles, chipped Granite bench, the glass tiles of my splashback were installed cracked and chipped, the front of my island bench has a gap between the panelling which, according to Granite Transformations Canberra, wouldn't be noticeable if I placed kitchen stools there, the cabinetry is not of accurate size with noticeable irregularities, the Granite splashback selected for around my kitchen sink and windows does not marry up to wall edgings and there is gaps in the silicon and visible, rough joins.
I reported the state of my kitchen to Granite Transformations Canberra, and after being repeatedly dismissed, I had to plead with them to send someone out to have a look at the workmanship. When they finally sent someone out I was given an answer and a reason for everything, and was even told how I could repair the silicon and smooth the joins in the Granite. After explaining that I should not be responsible for fixing their workmanship I was promised, by Granite Transformations Canberra, that someone would come out to do the necessary repairs. 12 months on, I'm still waiting!
I have repeatedly contacted Granite Transformations Canberra for resolution but am yet to receive a response from them, along with the head office.

We were looking to renovate our bathroom and so purchased a smaller basin than our current one which required a new tabletop. I was recommended GT Willetton by another company who found my job was too small to do. Went to the showroom in Willetton and staff were attentive and so helpful. All my questions were addressed, and I was given ample time to make a final decision. I was given granite tile sized samples to take home to test in the lighting in our bathroom and they were luckily able to accomodate to my requests of having the job completed before Christmas too.

Amazing Steve was the workman behind our tabletop and he was fantastic, knowledgable and so pleasant to communicate with. He came out to measure and do a template on Friday ready for install on Monday. This meant he didn't need to cut or polish anything in my bathroom (no dust!) and the install was completed in half an hour. The colour of the table top ended up being a slightly darker brown colour (we chose Royal brown)... Which was perfect as I thought this looked better than the sample tile!

Steve also suggested we remove our shower screen otherwise a small part of the corner of the table will need to be cut off to install. We promptly acted on his advice to get the shower screens removed so that the table is a perfect rectangle. Steve sealed and also waterproofed the laminate underneath which was a kind touch.

It has been a pleasant and positive experience for us... Even though we were initially wary after reading one of the negative comments about GT Willetton previously in this thread. I would highly recommend GT Willetton and will definetely use them again. Definetely value for money!

My wife and I just recently had our kitchen replaced and as a result there was a gap in the bench top which had been installed by Granite Transformations almost 10 years ago. Chris made a suggestion to fix the problem which has resulted in our kitchen now looking terrific. The work was performed in a timely and professional manner and we would not hesitate in recommending this business to our friends.
