On May 27, 2020 I ordered a teddy bear and two balloons from your gift shop at Ocean Medical. My husband was an in-patient and this was for our 60th wedding anniversary. Jill could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

I honestly think that the Suzanne at the roger Williams hospital gift shop was an angel
She waited 2 hours out her time she told me she didn’t care she would get paid because she saw the need of the items I needed for my mother
A patient of Covid with many underline problems that thank God is recovering, but someone like Suzanne was part of the miracle

The flowers ended up being cancelled and my mom didn’t receive her care package until she was literally walking out the door (three days after I ordered it). Just a little disappointed with the timing of it all.

Ordered yesterday at 5:00pm and here it is 5:00pm the next day and they are releasing her from the hospital and no flowers. I was told on the phone if they don't make it to her at the hospital they will get to her home and it turns out that she doesn't live near one of their vendors so only thing they offer is a refund. I won't put all my faith in a company like this again. They even called my daughters room advising her they were coming ruining the surprise. Terrible customer service as he smacked his gum and talked as if it was no big deal. You had 1 job and didn't get it done. What a shame!

I spent $65 to send flowers with a stuffed bear and mylar balloon to a young lady in a children's hospital. I was SO disappointed by the very cheap quality of the flowers and stuffed bear. The flowers weren't arranged at all - just looked like they were stuck in the cheap plastic vase. I could've gotten much better quality for much less money at a grocery store. And the stuffed bear was one you would find for $1.00 at a dollar store. It certainly didn't look like I spent near that amount of money. I definitely feel I wasted my money. The balloon was not delivered and that's the only money their Customer Service Dept. agreed to refund - the $5.00 spent for the missing balloon. Ridiculous.

I placed an order on a Thursday through the website. Apparently I missed a flash that said the item I chose was for home delivery only. The website allowed me to choose Akron Childrens as the delivery address from their drop down menu. It never asked for a home address. Later that day I got an email saying it was for home delivery only. I was unable to contact them until the following Monday ( I was out of town). I was told that it would be delivered Tuesday morning. On Thursday it had still not been delivered. I called again and was told it would be delivered the following Monday. Eleven days, not next day and even if you subtract the time I was unable to call it is still 7 days. Not acceptable. The website should ask for a home address, not allow you to choose a hospital if it cannot be delivered.

I have been trying to contact this company for a few hours. I have sent emails and sat on hold. My flowers were not delivered and my friend was discharged early so I want the flowers sent to her home. However, there is no way to get a hold of anyone.... at all besides leaving a voicemail?

I was under the impression that I was ordering from the hospital not a 3rd party service.

Very frustrated.

Our grandson went into MUSC's Children's Hospital unexpectedly and quickly with mom and dad by his side. As grandparents, we were out of state and felt helpless not to be there with them. We decided to order something to be delivered but were afraid it wouldn't get there in time before they got discharged. From the MUSC's Children's Hospital website, their gift shop offered same day delivery on several items. This was great! I had no sooner placed the order and within minutes, my daughter was calling from their hospital room to thank us for the wonderful surprise. My grandson was so excited to get his green teddy bear and get well balloons. They sent us a video of him playing with them, It was priceless! Thank you so much Hospital Gift Shop, you not only made their day but also helped us not feel so helpless and so far away!
