I was expecting this power wheelchair request process to be involved and lengthy. Instead of months it was only a few weeks before I was notified that my chair was ready to be delivered! Buster, the delivery, set up and proper wheelchair use instructor, was top notch! He made it easy to understand how to properly get seated, buckled in and maneuver using the joystick controller. Taught me how to park it, dismount, and connect the charger. I am really enjoying the comfort and freedom my Hoveround chair provides...and it's made in the USA!

Mr. Floyd who did my initial appt, and ultimately delivered my chair; gave us above excellent customer service. He was polite and answered our questions precisely and gave us easy to understand instructions for using the chair. The chair was well made and easy to use. Also it is very comfortable.

Both of the gentlemen who came out were very, very nice. Explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Should have gone to them earlier. Only took 2 weeks to get my chair and I love it. Thank you so much. Roberta Johnson OHIO

Alan was ver patient with my grandma..very kind and professional..he took his time explaining how the chair was operated and charged...also the operators made sure I was informed through every step of the process.. they called my grandmas doctors when I couldn't and when the doctor or his team seemed to be taking thier time...thank you to all at hoveraound for making this an easy experience....and for showing you guys care....thank you

I love my new chair but getting it took 4+ months, a visit to my primary physician, and several follow up calls to make sure everything was good. With that said I'm glad I hung in there and completed the process.

SUCH A BIG HELP.I GOT MY LIFE BACK.I WAS NOT ABLETO GO EVEN AROUND IN MY HOUSE WITHOUT PAIN.I NOW FEEL LIKE I GOT MY LIFE BACK AND CAN DEPEND ON MYSELF FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST OF THINGS.THANKS HOVEROUND.

I find it difficult to steer straight without running into walls and open doors. Why did you place the pouch on the right side when I specifically said I was left-handed. The joystick,if possible, should be placed before the "On" & "Off" button to avoid getting clothing caught on the joystick. The seat is very comfortable.

I decided to call Hoveround again. The nice lady at Hoveround sent me papers to be filled out by the doctor and then the doctor mailed them to Hoveround, which this was on Feb. 12, 2020 when they were filled out and mailed. On Feb. 14, 2020 I received a phone call but I couldn't get to in time but thankfully the caller left a message. The lady said, "Dolores Williams we need to get in touch with you to set a time and date when to bring your power chair." I was shocked and at first I thought it was a prank. I was elated, I am actually going to go in stores that I haven't been to in almost three years. On Feb, 25 2020 a man named Dani brought me my chair all the way from Memphis Tn. and took his time to explain everything I needed to know. I was impressed how much he was able to answer all the questions I had for him. He was well dressed, Then it was time to get in the driver's seat and as far as I can tell from his remarks I did very well on my first try. Thank you so very much Dolores Williams ,

Hoveround took very good care of me. They met all my needs immediately. I called them and in just a few days they had my problem solved. I'll never use another company for my electric wheelchair needs.

The wheelchair that we have is over 7 years old. My wife has MS and is in that chair for 14 to 16 hours a day. At 5 years we requested a replacement and the insurance company delayed for two months. Finally they approved a new battery, new arm with controls and new wheels. Now the Hoveround seat hurts my wife while sitting in it for 14 to 16 hours. The battery charger is hard for her to attach and the chair had squeaks as it moves from room to room. Wendy has just seen our Dr. John Lichtenstein of Kerhonkson, NY to have him submit a report on Wendy's physical condition. We are waiting for Hoveround to submit a new request to the insurance company to replace the wheel chair with a new one.

I've been having so many problems these last two years I can't move around like I used to and the things that I used to do by myself But I'm ready and wheeling around my house with my new Hoveround

This has got to be the worse customer support for a product I have ever had to deal with. Customers who use your equipment NEED their equipment working. I have been waiting for replacement batteries for my mobility scooter for 6 weeks. You send a repair person to my home to 'fix' it who has never seen or worked on a mobility scooter for which I had to pay $125.00. Your customer support employees are rude and could care less if your problem gets resolved. There must be no communication between the service and insurance dept within your own company. Very disappointed and frustrated. I NEED MY SCOOTER FIXED!!

I have submitted report after report to Hover-run-around with no success. My primary care doctor does not do the mobility exams so she sent me to a physical therapist for that testing. Your reps wouldn't accept that, and kept saying that a physical therapy evaluation wasn't acceptable, regardless of how I tried to explain that it was the mobility exam. I contacted another supplier today, and they have already made more progress. They are already contacting my insurance for coverage details.

On Friday, Jan 31st, my chair was stolen. I was/ am devastated. It's my freedom. I called police to get a case #, spoke to a lovely lady who took me thru the process, and made a Dr. appt for Monday. I told your rep it's imperative my new chair has a lock and key so if I have to go to a scooter that's ok. I had that chair for 7 years and some awful person took it.

My old Hoveround power wheelchair was old and breaking down too often. I qualified for a new chair. The customer service handled getting me an appointment with my doctor, the paperwork and Medicare. When the chair was delivered, the technician adjusted the new chair and even showed me how to use the new attachable wheelchair legs so I can raise my feet. The only thing was all the paperwork my Doctor had to fill out I felt bad for his administration team.

Ron, Hoveround's representative from Jacksonville Florida did an outstanding in setting up my new power wheelchair. Was very impressed with his knowledge of the powerchair and its operation. This is my second powerchair from Hoveround and I am very satisfied with their products and services.
