Though great at the start, the integrity of the mattress started to collapse, causing poor nights sleep and back problems.
Upon advising hypnia that the bed has sunk considerably in places, they used excuses like the bed frame is at a fault, a standard pine slatted bed frame, even though the sinking part is clearly the area I lie in, and nothing to do with the slats. It became clear quickly the guarantee will not be taken seriously at all, the pictures I sent were used to find arbitrary, dubious reasons not to honour the guarantee.
Seeing the other reviews, I can see I'm not alone.
Buying a new mattress 3 earlier than one should, and having to pay to dispose of this one, to boot.

I ordered Hypnia mattress which was due to be delivered on Wednesday, 6th July 2016 by tuffnells, not received yet.
I called tuffnells on Wednesday around at 11:30am and found that the delivery will be between 2&3pm. I gave my mobile number and requested to pass it on to driver if the driver find any difficulty in finding my address. I was at home waiting for delivery and rang them again at 3:10pm, I have been told that it's been delivered to my neighbour but don't know which door. The driver did not leave any note on my door saying which door he delivered the parcel. They said that they will find it from the driver and call me back but never received a call back. Even after calling a numerous times, they could not give us the door number where my parcel been delivered to. So I knocked all the doors in my close but no one received it and few were not at home, so did not answer the door. On Thursday, I called tuffnells to find out which door the delivery was made, they put me on hold and called the driver and came back to me and said that the driver not sure which door. Then after few minutes she called me and said its door no. 9 whom did not answer the door on Wednesday when we knocked it. So we tried knocking the door but no one at home. In the evening, when the neighbour came home, we asked whether she received any of our parcel. She said that she was not at home and she did not receive any parcel. Called Tufnells and complained regarding. I have been told not to keep calling them instead to call Hypnia where I placed my order. Ridiculous service.
I have emailed Hypnia regarding this issue on Wednesday but no response yet. I have contacted Hypnia today morning at 10:40am and still awaiting for call back.
I tweeted about this issue in Twitter today morning and no response for that as well.
Very poor service.

However, when it arrived I could tell this wasn't what was advertised, it was much lighter in the box and when I unpacked it, it was poor quality indeed. Interested to find out how far removed it was from what they advertised, I weighed it and did the maths. This memory foam topper was just over 40kg/m3. Almost HALF what it should be...
What amused me was the line advertising the topper on their website "These are not the cheaper 45 kg/m3 entry level toppers". No Hypnia, you're right. The ones you are selling aren't even as good as the 45kg/m3 entry level toppers!! Barefaced cheek of them.
As far as I am concerned, they are selling fraudulently. This isn't just down to the slight difference you can get in foam production, this was almost half what it should've been. They're selling a £30-40 product for twice that untruthfully. I insisted they collected the topper, which they did without question (which is possibly the only plus I can think of this company). They took a while to refund, in fact, I had to get help from paypal to get my money.
Now, if I wasn't replacing like for like, would I have noticed? Perhaps not, but I would've thought memory toppers were a waste of time as they did nothing to help instead of the fab difference a REAL 75g/m3 topper can make... Please, please, anyone considering buying one of these, or anything really from this suspect company, think long and hard before you part with your cash.

By the time we moved, around 2013, that mattress was already a bit tired, so we said goodbye to it and bought a new Hypnia double for the guest bedroom. That's still going strong - obviously it doesn't get regular, routine use though. Guests still comment on how comfy it is and what a good night's sleep they have.
Then in late 2015, we got another Hypnia for our king size bed. Again, very comfy, no problems with overheating. The cover was not such good quality though and there were no complimentary pillows. About a year ago (perhap more), this mattress began to show signs of dipping in the middle, despite being rotated regularly and based on good Ikea slats (and its users being well under the max weight). Now there's a socking great ditch (as others here have described it) through the middle. It really does feel like rolling yourself up a mountain trying to scooch over to a less indented part!
The whole mattress has also 'shrunk' vertically - so where it was a good 10cm high when new, it's now only 9-9.5cm as measured round the edges! And that's not because anyone routinely sits or lies on the edges. Along with all that, this mattress has generally grown harder and less flexible; it's just uncomfortable and unsupportive, resulting in sleep disruption and waking with painful joints, neck and backs. It's been very good for a few years but now after just 4 years it definitely needs replacing.
This time we're going for a more expensive hybrid (which claims to be the best on the market based on glowing expert reviews - we'll see!!). Meanwhile, going by the experience of 3 Hypnia MF mattresses, if I were to buy another it would be for a guest room or sub-teenage child's bed because as a mattress for adults' everynight use it will probably only have a useable life of 3-4 years.
Actually, that pans out to cost about 13-16p a night/£50-60 a year. Which is still relatively good value for a good mid-range MF mattress that doesn't 'overheat'.
Another thing to factor in when buying a MF or hybrid (or maybe any) mattress is this 10 year guarantee business. As others have reported, it's a real faf to prove mattress failure. So, I'm taking any such warranties with a pinch of salt. Who needs to spend weeks or months trying to prove that your mattress has become uncomfortable and out of shape!!

The sales team were extremely helpful in suggesting which mattress I should buy and unlike many other companies did not push me to the most expensive mattress they had at the time.
Considering that our previous mattress was a dual firmness mattress from Sturtons & Tappers which cost well over £1000 which lasted for less than two years, this mattress by comparison is an absolute bargain and far superior quality.
As we have now recently moved property, I have now purchased a Double for our spare bedroom that should be delivered tomorrow as I feel that it is only fair that our friends and family have the same great night's sleep as we do!
Fab mattresses & a fab & friendly company!
