Audi SQ5 engine destroyed. Car has been written off! Horrendous experience with this company! Has taken 8 months, legal threats and court action to recover all damages and costs, even though it was clearly their fault! I understand that mistakes happen, but when 3 independent reports and basic logic clearly show that they did not add enough oil to my car, it’s disappointing that In’n’Out have denied responsibility throughout Their area manager really annoyed me when he suggested that I get a report done by an independent garage then when I sent the report to them, he told me that they wouldn’t accept any liability as another garage had removed the engine to establish why it had failed! He also had the nerve to say that since I hadn’t followed the Audi service schedule they again wouldn’t accept any liability. Audi sent a letter stating that I had followed the Audi service schedule (main dealer) and that he was wrong Even after their own Dekra report stated, I quote, “As there is no evidence of external leakage the engineer would be of an opinion that the incorrect amount of oil has been replaced”, their area manager said they would still be denying any responsibility?! Anyway, justice has now prevailed! Their insurance company commissioned a third report and guess what, it concluded the same as the previous 2 reports! Seeing as the Audi garage only found 2.4ltrs of oil in the engine 4 weeks after a full oil change (the engine should have 6.4ltrs) they may want to consider a name change to Out’not’In

Booked my MOT online for 39£ , could ve had the same using "whocanfixmycar " for just 25£ ... but thats not my main disappointment
Now maybe due to covid , could not see my car MOT being done and now the car is making all sorts of noises it didn't have before .
There 's no waiting room now (understandably safety comes first) .
Beware of the fake positive reviews , saw a 1 star guy saying that he didn't see them using gloves , and followed that review , the was a 5 star one saying that there was plenty of sanitizer around, interesting...
When working on several different cars a day , can happen a lot of cross contamination .
Be carefull if you take your car here , could be leaving worse than what it came in .

Visited the Newark center recently and was dealt with by Tom, the new manager. Lovely friendly professional guy who could not do enough to help us. Thanks very much Tom!

Been using for the last couple of years, the good reviews made me switch.4 cars on my household and also recommended it to some friends.This time im feeling sceptical, not the reason why my Ford Smax failed, but due to the fact that after I left the branch on my way home the clutch pedal didn't want to come all the way to the top and now is making a grinding noise when the pedal is pressed half way. Also noticed a ratling noise that I didn't have before and upon further inspection, I found that to be one of the advisories, exhaust heat shield on fuel tank deteriorated. My point is, advisories and identifying major defects is the purpose for an mot, although leaving something hanging deliberately when it wasnt to start with its just wrong.
Rung in for the retest,1hr later I arrived as told. Handed the key and the refusal certificate to one of the technicians and mentioned that all the ticked advisories/refusals had been done.
Not long after the same technician came to get the car bringing a disposable seat cover, however no gloves. Drove my car in and proceeded with inspecting the repairs(no gloves used at any point). Some minutes later left inspecting my car and I assume he went to complete the paperwork. After a while I went in asking if all was ok and was invited to go out and was told by the technician yes and he would bring it to me outside.
He drove my car out (still no gloves) and handed me the keys and both certificates(refusal and pass). Immediately I noticed a repair I had carried out but still was still on the advisories. I went to question why that advisory was still there, he said I had not mentioned it, that was incorrect I had mentioned it and it was clearly marked on the sheet as I had said. He then said , you got your pass anyway. I said nothing and left.
Many little bad things make up a big thing. On my household there are 4 cars, and there are a few more from friends, once I lose trust in a company, we all move somewhere else. I do not want anyone i don't trust touching my cars, and in future never leave it out of my sight!

Really surprised to see the recent negative review about the guys at Bristol, they've been looking after my family's cars for years now and the service is always exemplary. The latest job they completed for me was a Nissan Micra with faulty ABS. They managed to find me an incredibly cheap replacement part and fitted it next day for me. What was great was that the Nissan was due to be sold and the Manager let me keep it on site FOC for a couple of days while I arranged a visit to a local buyer. They mechanics there are always friendly and happy to explain any of the work carried out. There is plenty of Covid signage on display and a one way network for customers which was great for me, being a key worker. Social distancing was also well respected and there was plenty of sanitiser available too. Keep up the great work guys!

I visited the Newark branch on 23rd May 2020 having just hit a deep pot hole in my new car. I asked Tom if it would be possible to check the car over and to get it on the ramp to check the alloys. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he even drove the car to check all was ok. It is refreshing to find a cheerful and helpful customer orientated employee and was a real ambassador for the company. Many thanks Tom, your help was greatly appreciated.

Had my mot and service done at the Wigan branch of in n out yet again syd and ste where brilliant they make you feel so welcome and all the work they do is first class give them a try you will not be disappointed.

I have been to the Andover centre 3 times now and I have always had an excellent and professional service.

Today I was looked after by Kearon and Theo, both of whom were brilliant.

I won't go anywhere else now.

Recently visited the wigan site where I dealt with Syd and Steve. Both provided excellent customer service, along with a cheap quick service and extra's on my car.

I had an issue with one of my valves and Syd went out of his own way to find a cheap alternative measure to fix the issue even though all mercedes garages are now shut.

I would highly recommend going to the wigan centre, fantastic customer service and really professional mechanics!

I have been using the Wisbech branch now for 2 years roughly, from anything from a major oil leak, new brakes pads and discs, and general servicing, their pricing is brilliant, their work is better than dealership garages!! Never found a garage i trust so much keep up the Brilliant work.

The only thing the company can do better (not the branch) is get courtesy cars :)

First time I have used IN 'n' OUT from my first contact with Syd at the Wigan branch he was helpful, not pushy gave me full advice and options of what was available to me.
straight forward booking my car in and even when I rang to change the time of my drop off there was no problems with that again Syd was very helpful.
I received a video of my full service to which it was explained to me what had been done and what needed to be done with a price of how much that would cost.
Excellent service from start to finish will definitely be returning for my next service also my partner and my dad will be booking their cars in for service. price and value for money was second to none.

Phoned last minute and they fitted me in and quick service considering the current situation

Second visit in a week newark. First visit full service and updated on all up and coming maintenance needed. Plus Re-gas aircon but existing issue and reviewed but booked in for further diagnostic as not working. Returned today and Tom Hill took my car reviewed aircon, called me when he said he would. Supplied quote for works required and was most helpful. So glad I moved to an area that has such a great garage! Recommend! Thanks lads .
