IVA

Making the initial call is the hardest part of the process. I expected to be pacified or speak with a call centre somewhere but when i scheduled a call to suit my times Iain contacted me and was so helpful, direct and above all communicated his experience through years of knowledge and gave me the confidence to apply for an IVA. We were sucked into debt from listening to Radio 2 (Martin Lewis) many years ago whereby we learnt how easy credit was to obtain and then balance transfer. The problem was both my partner and i did the same and did not realise the true extent of the debts held. Eventually you get caught up in a situation requiring either a windfall or outside assistance. Your banks turn their faces away and getting consolidation loans become impossible - does all this sound familiar. With 4 Barclaycards, 4 MBNA cards, 2 Next accounts, 2 Very accounts, 3 overdrafts and few extras to boot and all maxed out - both your social life and physical well being starts to take its toll. Within 6 weeks IVA.org have assisted my partner and I in not only clearing thousands of pounds worth of debt but they have been a life changing asset - With debts in excess of 64K - my creditors have now agreed to accept payments based on our ability to afford, over a 5 year period, with no interest. But it is not just that our debts are on the way to being written off , it is the interest payments that have been stopped! Considering my main Barclaycard had a minimum payment of £298 per month and interest per month of £294.20 - it is clear that it was out of control with interest (joint) in excess of £1000 per month, that we needed help. Once you make that initial phone call your problems are halved immediately because IVA.org are there to help, advise and change your life for the better. I will never forget or be able to re-pay gratitude i owe IVA.org but what i do know is that with 60 months of manageable repayments we will be debt free, credit free and above all happy and stress free. Absolute brilliant people Iain and Chris have really helped me sort my life out my life was at breaking point about to lose my family and maybe my house there knowledge is second to none my IVA has only just been accepted this week and I feel like a different person already all the stress has gone.
Please don’t be embarrassed to sort your debts out like I was Iain was so positive and helpful I feel like I can start living my life again and can finally sleep at night.

I called at 9pm and was pleasantly answered by Chris who couldn't have been more helpful. Inquiring about a possible IVA for my Elderly Mother - who has found herself in a lot of debt due to being defrauded. Chris asked me about my Mother's full financial circumstances and advised me that an IVA was not her best course of action. Actually a Debt Relief Order would be more appropriate for her. Chris pointed to the best sites to help arrange this solution and also assured me that my Mum would not have to go to Court at any time during the process. This will be a massive relief to her as she has been crying at the thought of it! I can't thank Chris enough for the time he kindly spent talking to me - giving me hugely helpful advice but also for genuinely caring about my Mum's situation. One word..... “Amazing”

I phoned Iva.org after burying my head in the sand and trying to cope for months. My call was answered by Iain, and I nervously started to explain the reason for my call. I was instantly reassured and told “I can help”. Iain was so understanding and the shame that I had felt for so long was going.
After a very lengthy phone call, going through all the ins and outs of my debts, I was reassured that there was light at the end of the tunnel and a way out of the financial spiral I found myself falling into. As a proud person I found myself hiding from the increasing amount of credit/finance I had, and I was juggling one to pay the other. Iain talked me through the options I had, but there was a problem..... My partner was tied into some of my debts and he would suffer if i entered into the Iva. So Iain talked us through the option of us both entering into an Iva and the outcome of this.
After numerous phone calls we decided to both go ahead. We experienced many different hurdles but with Iain’s advice and guidance we managed to overcome these and we proceeded with the stages of entering into an Iva. We also spoke to Chris and he was very reassuring and helped us every step of the way before we approached the final stages of the Iva journey.
Without wittering on, our Iva was accepted this week and we are so thrilled. We could not have done this without Iain, Chris and the team from Iva.org. We are eternally grateful for all the hard work you have done for us. Iain even helped us when he was suffering with a bad case of the flu and a severe throat infection. We cannot begin to thank you enough.

We will finish this off by saying.... if you are in financial difficulties and don’t know where to turn, don’t hide from it. Ring the Iva.org team, they are amazing and will help you to find an answer. It really is the best phone call we ever made.

I am a 34 year old who is quite risk adverse, but has a property for which I have worked incredibly hard. Like many people, the fear of uncertainty, and the limited depth of knowledge was completely contained in the most professional, experienced and sensitive manner, that after two hours on the phone with this gentleman, I was close to tears. What an amazing insightful Senior Adviser this is. An absolute testament to the quality of customer services within Britain's financial services. Spoke to Ian who was incredibly honest, i was scared of the reveiws inthis sector but he did not try to sell me an IVA but spent 45 mins of his time just giving me honest advice on how to get myself straight without one. Thanks Ian you company lived up to its great billing on this site.

I found myself in an impossible situation and was at my wits end, luckily I telephoned IVA.org, Iain Wrenshall was amazing and with his and Chris's help they guided me through the process of enterering into an IVA.

After failing my IVA approx a year ago after not be able to keep up the payments due to being made redundant and subsequently still unemployed a year on my debtors have started contacting me again.
I googled failed Iva and came across this company. I spoke to Iain and he has reassured me I have options available, we talked through the bankruptcy option and what that really means and how best to manage (strategise) my current situation.

AAA+++ Do not go anywhere else until speaking with IVA.org... I am not one for usually writing reviews, however, Chris at IVA.org was fantastic, from initial contact at 9pm at night it took just 31 days to have my IVA approved. I had previously spoken to another firm who 'told' me what my minimum payment had to be, after speaking with Chris it was actually what I can afford not the other way round. Chris was non judgemental, professional, nothing was a problem for him, no pressure help and take it from me, that is what is needed! IVA.org are an amazing organisation who have, quite literally, turned our lives around and made it possible for us to continue, and even to look forward to the future again! This is something which we thought would be impossible and felt absolutely trapped in a terrible corner. The team at IVA.org all seem so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, sincere and thoughtful – I feel so fortunate that they are the organisation we turned to in such a difficult time.
When they are talking to you, emailing, etc at no time is there any undue pressure whatsoever and they do not ever try to push you into anything you are not comfortable with. The advice is measured and well thought out and they do not make any unrealistic promises of a “silver bullet” to cure all of your problems. What they do give is advice and options and explain the process with each.
I had to have a large number of quite long conversations with the team to progress our application but at no time did they seem to be fed up by my daft questions (they must hear the same thing many, many times) but instead dealt with all queries professionally and sympathetically.
We literally can not praise the team highly enough for the way they deal with their clients – it is the best I have experienced in any organisation ever. At 53 years old I have dealt with quite a few different groups for things unrelated to finance and they could all take lessons from IVA.org!
All of the team were excellent but I especially wish to praise Iain and Drew, who are the ones I dealt with the most, and are genuinely our saviours.
We had already decided to write this review in exactly the same terms regardless of having a successful application or not, as the team can not be faulted. We were fortunate and our application was accepted, there are no guarantees of this of course, but you literally have nothing to lose by seeing if the team can help you out like they did us.
