I ordered a product from their website that was shown as in stock for $1200 on March 26 2010. I received an e-mail confirming the order and price. March 29 I received an e-mail canceling the order as out of stock. I checked their website and the exact item I had ordered with the same manufacturers model number was shown as in stock but for over $400 more. This organization wasted my time and received personal and financial information.

I have been in the technology reseller business for 20 years. I always look for the best price, and often it is at the expense of good customer service. The way Katerno has treated my situation (some parts of a toolkit were faulty) amazes me. Not only was their price the best on this product (which I buy on a regular basis), their handling of this RMA goes way beyond what I was expecting from a 'cut-rate' supplier. |Katerno's willingness to take back a part of tool kit and not require me to return the whole kit was wonderful. Plus, they got me the replacements very quickly, had tested them before sending them out, and even paid for return shipping! Since these are used for a class I teach on computer repair, it was imperative that I get them before the class was over, and they made it by three days!

Needless to say, Katerno will now be my first supplier I check! Thanks for a great experience, and look forward to many years of business with them!

i bouhgt an VIZIO 55" HDTV from katerno and the deal was very good...cheapest price out there...deliver by a special truck service...receive the item in good condition...now im enjoy this TV...I recommend to shop at katerno

***Keep in mind results may vary*** I ordered my nanoStriker on Tues. Jan. 25,2011 and it was delivered in the mail on Friday Jan. 28, 2011 Using regular shipping even! I found what I was looking for 30% cheaper! I came here read the good and the bad, but I had a good gut feeling and tried them anyway...Wow quick e-mail with a receipt for my order, then another once the item was shipped. I received my item in brand new packaging, unopened.
Bottom Line: I will consider them in my future on-line shopping.

After surveying numerous on-line vendors Katerno indicated that they had a Canon Canoscan 8800F scanner in stock so I ordered one even though it was not the cheapest price out there. Everyone else was out of stock. I ordered one on Dec 12 and didn't hear anything......I called Katerno on Dec 23 and asked about my order status (their on-line order status function doesn't do anything useful)-they told me that they were out of stock for that item and did I get an e-mail telling me that? NO!!! So not only did they not say that it was out-of-stock when I ordered it either at the time of ordering or when they figured out that they didn't have it when they said they did but I'm empty handed on Xmas!!!!! Ahhhhh!!

I ordered a VIZIO 32" HDTV. They have a great price and the item was shipped from manufacture directly. Package arrived in a good shape. I will definitely shopping at katerno again.

I searched for price comparison for a fire/rescue tool called a spanner wrench multi tool. I found a listing for this product on Katerno.com. I then saw the item picture and the description and it all seemed good. There were no options to select for the product just a good old fashioned Buy Now button. I bought the item and it was delivered in just a few days. However, it was a much different item than I ordered and not the item in the picture. It was a window punch made by the same manufacturer. Assuming that it was just an order fulfillment mistake I informed Katerno customer service. The response was that i received exactly what I ordered and they referred to a cryptic product name Res-Q-Me - RST1BR. They then explained that deeper in the description the description refers to the product I received and by connection of this reference to the name, I ordered. This is the description: "Multi-Purpose Rescue Tools are a must-have for service techs and first responders. The Res-Q-Rench is five tools in one - universal spanner, pry tool, window punch, seat belt cutter, and gas shutoff. Smaller than the Res-Q-Rench but just as effective, the Res-Q-Me easily shatters tempered glass and cuts through safety belts in seconds." after sending them back their order and shipping confirm. emails with the spanner wrench (ResQ Rench) pictured. They still told me I ordered the wrong item, the ResQ Me. I then asked for them to at least acknowledge that it was a misleading product page and they still told me that I got what I ordered.
DO NOT buy anything from Katerno.com. They have horrible customer service and refuse to accept that the customer is right, even with proof.

Canceled my order claiming product they listed as 4 in stock was now out of stock. No e-mail notification of cancellation. Poor communication. They harvest your e-mail address and contact information.

Fond a good price on a laser printer drum and ordered it, but no email confirmation ever showed up, now the drum has never showed up, and I have to dig through my browser history to find the %^&* store (no email, remember?), look up the order and it says it's cancelled and that it was out of stock. Just to make it a little hard for me, they put the words "order cancelled" in yellow on a white background so I can almost read it.
Well, this has to be the worst communication I've ever seen from an online store. Won't use it again, ever.

I placed an order for some vizio brackets and at first i did not know what to expect since the price is low. I thought I give them a try... now it seems as though most of the products are in stock or their warehouses. I don't exactly know, but I was grateful when they called me to let me know that most vizio products take about 8-11 business days to be delivered, from the day of purchase. This was not a issue for me, since I saw it on their product page. I just received a confirmation email claiming my product will be shipped out in the next business day even got the tracking number. They seem to have good services. I would buy again if the process is this simple again. I really appreciated the call.

Placed order on Monday for Boat Shore Power cable I needed on Friday, so I ordered it with 2-day shipping. Or so I thought. Order went through with confirmation, but after not receiving any shipping status decided to check their website. Then & only then did I learn they canceled my order for 'out of stock'. No emails, No phone calls, nothing. Stay away from Katerno.
