Long Story.... of lost contact information --- promised fix times that were not kept -- manager didn't call the supply shop until a week later on a Saturday when it was CLOSED. Finally got the tire fixed and NEVER an apology or even an offer for a discount. COME ON!

I had 4 tires changed they advised me of my brake pads being worn and the alignment was off a little a tech was asked if he would pay to get the alignment and he said it was not out enough to worry about

Knew I had one problem, but they found a couple more once they got started. Great communication from store manager. They were committed to fixing my car right, even if it took a little longer. I really appreciate that!

I had heard about Ken Towery from a friend, who lived in another city, about how great they were with her vehicle needs. So when I needed an oil change, I thought why not give them a try. Because of the level of customer service I received, I have been back twice more. I enjoyed the honest and friendly nature of the person at the front desk. I will be recommending Ken Towery to all my friends and family......especially since they talked me into registering for the service credit card!!!

I visited the Ken Towery location at 4050 Cane Run Road on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 because my car was overheating. Though I had had a bad experience in the past with rude service people there years ago, I was in a pinch, and had to stop somewhere for fear that my car would die if I didn't. After waiting about thirty minutes, the customer service guy came and got me, and he and a mechanic showed me where the radiator was leaking, and that the hoses needed to be replaced. They also told me I had a leaky valve cover gasket, and that to repair all of this would cost me about $977.00. I opted out of replacing the gasket, and asked how much for just the radiator and hoses. The guy shows me prices written on a note sheet, and points directly at the numbers $189.00. I said "So about $200.00? Right?" He says "might be a little more, but yes, about $200". So I go and wait. Now I was warned it would take a few hours, and while I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of waiting several hours after having worked all night, I didn't have much choice. Finally, after about 3 1/2 hours, the customer service guy tells me it's ready, and the price will be $773.00!!! I of course argued this, told him what the guy said and the price he SHOWED me, but he said if I wouldn't pay the $773.00, all he could do was take the parts off, and that would take another few hours. I was livid, and called him and his cohorts out for the lying, thieving jerks they are. He insisted that the mechanic had said the price was about $200.00 OFF the 977.00 he'd priced the whole deal including the gasket. So, as in another review on this site, he was basically holding me hostage. I was going to wait for the parts to be taken off, but I hadn't eaten or slept, and had to return to work for another overtime shift that night. So I gritted my teeth, paid the money, and vowed to make them infamous.

And here's the absolute worst thing.

In my original conversation with the customer service guy, I asked him to speak up, as I am hearing-disabled, and the batteries in my hearing aids had gone dead, as I hadn't gotten home to replace them. THESE PEOPLE EXPLOITED MY HANDICAP TO COMMIT FRAUD!

I urge anyone reading this, and anyone and everyone you can share it with, to never patronize any Ken Towery location. To whomever at Ken Towery reads these reviews, I doubt seriously I'll receive any recompense from such a shady organization, but if you value your business and your job, you'll change your woefully negligent and fraudulent business practices, while you still have a business and a job. Not only will I never darken the door of any of your establishments, I will do my very best to dissuade anyone else from doing likewise. You should be ashamed of yourselves, for taking advantage of people this way. If I was the first person on this site to report such a thing,I could maybe consider it a fluke and a very expensive lesson, but as I read about so many similar experiences on this and other review sites, I realize that this is common practice for the thieves that call themselves Ken Towery.

If there were only a way to give a negative "star rating"...

Let me start off by saying I didn't know alot about Ken Towery's and the services they did but one had just been built in my town the last year or so and let me tell you after the great customer service they gave both me and my sweet baby of a jetta car, I will be going back there alot more in the future! I orginally just wanted to get new tires on my jetta but I was thankfully informed by an assiociate who called me on my cellphone to explain to me that In my back two brakes I was currently riding metal on metal and is extreamly dangerous and all meant my brakes not at all up to standard when it came to driving long distantces safely so I was so thrilled to be able to say, "Yes, Please mr Ken Towery's man please fix my brakes." haha im so happy with the job they did and am grateful they cared to call me because i travel long distances all the time in my car because my wife currently lives in Quebec,Canada so traveling at this point might as well be my middle name! :D Thank you Ken Towery's for maybe saving me from a wreck or even worse!
P.S. I freaking love my amazing Michelin tires! They are eating the road up! The ride is just so smooth!

21 of June 2019, I noticed a grinding in the rear of my work van. Upon inspection of the vehicle, it was found that the brakes and rotors needed replacing. The parts would have to be ordered. I left the van with Dew and Robert at Shop 1215 with the expectation of not needing it until Monday. However, I received a call from one of my customers of an emergency nature that required me to get there on Saturday. I explained this to Drew and Robert, they came up with a solution to get me going however, the caliper was not available in Danville. Drew made multiple calls and located one in Nicholasville, 35 miles away. Robert drove up there to get the part, in a rain storm!! Drew, Robert and the Technician worked diligently to get me on the road ASAP!! Ken Towery should be proud to have Manger Andrew Lake and Assistant Manager Robert Sexton representing their business. They worked with vigor and positivity to get me back on the road so I could address my customer needs. I am grateful for their efforts!! Gary Baker

I waited in the waiting area for over a hour just for an oil change. I came out and walked around a few times and the manager knew I was there. After over a hour I walked outside and my car was parked on the side finished. I asked how long it had been done and was told they didn't know maybe 10 minutes. Nobody said anything to me. Not only did it take forever, they didn't even tell me I was finished. To make it worse I had to pay about $10 more than the coupon price he quoted in the beginning. After terrible service I should have been given a great discount and an apology. I received neither.

I've been coming to this Ken Towery auto shop on Bardstown road for quite a few years now. Initially it was because the location was right in front of my apartment which was glorious in terms of convenience but I now travel to this one even after moving closer to other locations. The customer service is some of the best I've received at an auto shop. Even if I buy tires somewhere else like Costco I'll continue to use these guys for routine maintenance.

After a long work week, I was so ready to spend a relaxing Saturday with my sister. As I was on my way to pick her up, I noticed my car was overheating. Quick call to Doug, at my Ken Towery, who told me to bring my car on in and he would have someone look at it that morning. I was thrilled that the problem was promptly diagnosed and fixed, with plenty of time to still enjoy the day with my sister. Thank you Ken Towery #1156!

I took my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium into Ken Towery in Danville, Kentucky for a Tire Rotation and Balance. The staff treated me friendly. They were able to get my vehicle quickly. I did have an issue after leaving, it seems that they had an inexperienced tech balanced my tires and when I left the vehicle was worse off then when I brought it to them. I returned the vehicle and an experienced technician stated that on just one wheel the weights would be able to be used on 4 wheels. Everything was greatly improved when the vehicle was returned.

the staff was friendly and very caring bout my needs the tires i wanted wasnt avaiable and they called and told me and they got a set comparable to what I wanted and discounted them for my troubles and when I picked up they forgot to remove the tire disposable fee cause I keep my old tires and the manager called me at home that night asked me to come in the next day to fix my bill most company's dont do that I would recommend them to anyone looking for good tires and great customer service

I raised my concerns about my very bad experience with Oil Change at Ken Towery on “1400 S Hurstbourne Pkwy” .

I received a call from Regional Manager (forgot name) , he told he would send a coupon for $25 for the inconveniences.

It is not that I am expecting any coupon from Ken Towery, just wanted to bring to notice the they promise and not stand by their words.

In a fierce t-storm, while dodging a tree branch, I ran over a downed highway sign that was blown onto the road with the sign's 1/4-5/16'' diameter mounting bolts sticking straight up, which punctured two of my vehicle's tires. I thought the tires were ruined with such big puncture holes. But on the outside chance that they might be reparable I took them to the Ken Towery's Tire & Auto Care @ 1350 S Broadway in Lexington to see if they were salvagable. Instead of the expected sales pitch for new tires I got an honest professional opinion saying the tires were indeed fixable. I was a walk-in customer without an appointment, and at the time the location was swamped with all bays busy and lots of customers in the waiting room. I left the tires for them to fix when they got a chance to get to them. They were fixed by the time I returned. I was very pleasantly surprised by the literally unbeatable price for the repair, and went home elated.

I have done business with Ken Towery for many years and have been Satisfied with their
service throughout. Have bought tires, oil changes and brake jobs.
The only minor complaint I might have is when you wait for your vehicle at the location it
seems like you are waiting an extra long time for completion of the service and that you could
do the job faster. If you are having somewhat major work done; it is probably better if you
can leave your vehicle and come back after completion. Their coupons are great too.
