I love Locals. I had a pair when I lived in Hawaii and I took them with me when I moved back to the mainland. The original pair I bought lasted me over ten years and I wore them every summer. Just recently I bought two pairs. One for me and a pair for my fiancé. He loves them too and he normally doesn’t wear sandals. My only preference is that I prefer the original classic sandal over the massage style (little foam bubbles). I’ve now tried both and the massage is a little too soft for me, but for some people they may prefer it better. Either way, I hope these are always around because they are by far my favorite flip flop ever.

I recently bought *another* pair of Locals flops and on the first wear, slipped and blew out the right flop. Luckily I had some electrical tape that kept me both flipping and flopping during the remainder of the camping trip. When I got back I emailed Locals customer service with my problem and they promptly sent me out a new pair. Great customer service! I love the fit, feel, and look of Locals and will continue to be a loyal customer. Best. Flops. Ever.

Change your high shipping prices and you would get 5 out of 5.Love your service and your shoes, but I think your shipping price it ridiculously HIGH for the lightweight product you are selling. And then too charge the shipping price twice, for 2 pairs of locals--its ridiculous, especially taking into account the flimsy way they are wrapped and sent--which I have no problem with as nothing will ruin the product, but charging what you do for shipping is simply out of what with what is far in the industry.

Would have given 5-stars if the shipping wasn’t so expensive. My husband is from HI & we all purchase new pairs every year...do to the pandemic, we cancelled our trip & decided to order online. The flip/flops or “slippers “ online we’re almost double the price as than if I were to purchase in store & the shipping was pricey...Although I did receive good customer service from Locals & I still love their products

I wear my Locals everyday, I have at least 20 pairs (no lie!). However, I sent an email to Locals company 2 years ago asking why the translucent pink women were no longer available. They were my favorite pair and I needed to buy new ones. A couple weeks ago, I received an email in my inbox from them letting me know they were available again. I jumped off the couch and ordered 2 pairs really quickly and was amazed that they had thought to let me know they were available after 2 years of sending that email. I was really impressed! They shipped my beautiful new pink Locals to me within a few days and I am thrilled! Thank you so much for thinking of me and for bringing back my pinkies!!!! Mahalo!

My original Locals lasted just around 13 years. I'm glad I thought to purchase a second (and third set) directly from you guys. These are the most comfortable, affordable, and clean looking flip flops! Thank you! Mahalo!

When I visited Hawaii 10 Years ago I bought my first pair of locals I loved them. I always wished I would of bought more. So when I found your website I was so excited to order them. The delivery time was also great.

Opting to save myself the time and shipping charges while in Hawaii, I decided to purchase (7) pairs of Local Slippas, for my Sons, Daughters, and Grand Daughter, State side, to share a piece of our Hawaii trip with them. I'm sorry to say that, given Locals' apparent popularity, their actual inventory turned out to be a far cry from what they represented it to be online; a good 50% of what I ordered being "Out of Stock", with Locals' website in no way reflecting it; "Locals" Customer Service Dept. dragging the purchasing process out well over a week, with their emails encouraging me to opt for other Slippa colors other than what I originally aspired to. For futures, it would behoove Locals to dedicate more time to updating their website so the purchasing process doesn't turn into an experience that feels more like a frowned upon "Bait snd Switch".

I love Locals because it brings me back to my childhood of being in Hawaii.

I wanted you all to know after growing up on the mainland I moved to Oahu and graduated from Radford High School. I got my first pair of locals as a sophomore in high school. I used to wear shoes and boots all the time but once I got my first pair shoes felt like a trap ever since. When I met my wife she never could understand how I could wear slippers all the time. I finally got her a pair and she loves them. I wear mine until they die. Literally until they can't be warn anymore. I just lost my last pair this morning three holes in the bottoms and I was still wearing them! Wasn't until the toe piece broke this morning when I was able to tell them goodbye for good. That's when they are the best and feel like a part of you! I am excited to order my next couple pairs each time it feels like christmas no matter what time of year it is! I discovered Local flip flops on my vacation to Hawaii. They are so comfortable & last a long time. I love them!

I bought a pair years ago and loved them so much I bought them for my wedding party. Now I’ve had at least 4 more pairs. Most comfortable ever!! My go to casual. I love the original. I haven’t tried the other.

I got slippahs I dont normally order...my first order was too small, even though the slippahs said "size 9"; they were about 1 1/2 inch too little. I ended up getting a size 11 :/ oh well. I think I'll stick to the basic slippahs and not the special ones next time.

Have purchase local for over 20 years and since moving from Hawaii and California to Florida now we have to order on line Not use to the higher prices but they are worth it!

I’ve been wearing locals for years before I had children. Now my wife daughter and son are wearing locals also. Fun product and my go to footwear for all occasions.
