Feeling scammed,
They keep charging 8.95 each moth even if you buy 1 time and 1 product. Don't buy anything from here.

I bought a product online some months ago just to figure out that I was paying almost 9 euros per month for a membership since then.
I payed actually more in the membership than for the product itself.

It is not normal practice to charge this way and it should be stated clearly.

All you see when you order is membership price, and membership adding 0 euros to your total because apparently (!) the first month is free.

If you want to order from them read carefully in the disclaimers how you can stop the membership before it starts charging you.

Ordered for the first time last week. Tried a few food products to test them out and was very happy until I realized almost all the products i received were expired... Ordered Mayo, was due to expire in a week. Ordered different kinds of peanuts, expired January. Ordered cereal bars, expired a month before I got them. Safe to say I cancelled my subscription right away.

I've noticed by accident looking in my bank statement that every month LUXplus is taking 8,95 euros. Apparently, when you buy ANYTHING on their website, Luxplus automatically starts "subscription" without you clicking any button or any box or signing any subscription or knowing that you are going to pay every month 9 eur.

Before the checkout process, when you are buying something, this t is written below your items in the basket: "Access to all Luxplus discounts for 0 EUR in the first month, then 8.95 EUR per month (view benefits). By choosing the membership price you now register yourself as a member and receive the Luxplus advantage. Log out yourself when you want."
Now, everyone would think that to start any subscription , one would need to click something first.
But there is NO OPTION TO SELECT OR DESELECT THAT so basically you HAVE TO start the "subscription" just by buying. Thing is, most people don't know that and they have basically been scammed. Including me.
It is a "legal scam" because it is partly-understood what is going to be (yeah, written there black on white), so they have legal advantage, but still is nonetheless scam since it is not that clear, and no other site does that and it is made in a way that you don't have option to chose and no one thinks they oblige themselves to anything while buying one thing.

And yes, they could have made themselves much more clear but they obviously don't want that.

its not "very well explained" because small font and hidden info is a sh*** practice that should be banned. For now you have 38% bad reviews so draw conclusions instead of being insolent.

After purchase you are subscribed to monthly membership (roughly 9 euro per month). This is absolute scam!

one of the worst things to do from potential client , i hate it, took money 9 euro a month and nothing to get, pls. do not trust them.once you register just to get your things to buy you are immediately paying every month.O

To anyone who's saying that this website is sucks... Well, you sucks for not even reading the terms before you order, by ordering for the 1st time you agree to be member and its free for the 1st month and after, you have to pay the monthly subscription but if you don't want that you can cancel it anytime you want, you don't need to call dumbass, you go to your account and cancel it there.

Shipping is fast.
Packaging is superb (hands down) ????????you always have this luxury feeling opening their packaging ????.

The items that u usually see in the stores are few cents or euro cheaper but items that you don't really see in stores in Netherlands easily is almost half of price in Luxplus. Like Dettol,antibacterial handsoap & etc.
I also appreciate that despite of increasing demand they didn't make their antibacterial more expensive than usual.

I normally don't write a review, but seeing complaints about Luxplus subscription I couldn't help offering my 2 cents, plus, my order has just recently arrived 1 hour ago and I'm extremely satisfied!

About subscription, I think it is clearly stated everywhere in the website, before ordering the products, and also before checking out, that subscription is optional. Nowhere I see the intention to mislead the customer. It's free for the first month, afterwards you can cancel.

So for you who wants to shop at Luxplus, go ahead! It's not a scam. The subscription rate is reasonable if you shop frequently or in a large amount for the whole family. I shop for gift-giving and very very satisfied, the price is an excellent deal, all products come in a great condition, all good, packaged neatly, and...fast!! I receive my package in 3 workdays and definitely will repurchase at their website. Oh, and it doesn't charge for delivery service! Another plus point!

I bought around 20 boxes of Poptarts and when I received them they were past there best before date. I was sold old products!!! Disgusting!! They seem to be selling old products!! Dont Trust!

Their prompt delivery and swift shopping experience have gained them 4 stars, but after seeing a debit of 8.95 euros every month in my bank account, I have brought the rating to 1. And I can explain why. Their website shows a popup the first time you open it, and the pop up clearly states that you become a member and pay 8.95 euros per month and enjoy membership benefits. And then it has only one button to dismiss the pop up, called ACCEPT. So no matter even if you have read the text carefully and do not want to accept it, there is no such button on this pop up to reject it. Even if you try to click outside of this popup (hoping that the pop up will automatically disappear), it does not work. So in my opinion, the site is forcing us to become members and pay 8.95 euros monthly. Also, this pop up looks just like another Terms and Conditions or Cookies sort of popup(of course with different text) where websites usually asks for your permission to setup cookies and accept terms and conditions, and as we all know, sometimes we just click accept on such pop ups because we are so used to seeing these popups while browsing websites that we know what would be the content of these popups, and we do not give much time to read every line through it. All said, there is a responsibility part on the Luxplus team to provide an option to ACCEPT and REJECT on the same popup(even a cross is missing to close it). And we(as consumers) also need to be extra careful in pressing the ACCEPT button without fully reading through the text.

I just received my parcel of 2 escada magnetism perfume if 75ml. The perfume is not genuine escada, extremely weak scents disappearing in few minutes. Very watery, the code on the bottom of box is not copied on the bottle and is not recorgnize by manufactures. I have been sent for fake perfumes! These are not genuine escada....it was my first time ordering from you and I get thus experience??? My friend placed the order on my behalf.

The first month is free. At the end of the free subscription, I tried to terminate but they offered a free extension for the second month. I canceled the termination.
In fact, they STILL deducted 8.95 without notification. I have sent a complaint email (on the Dec 12, 2019) but no response until now (Jan 3rd). What a pity!

EDIT: Yannick immediately responded to my complaint on Jan 3rd. He promised to refund the money in 7 days. I change the rating given here. Overall, it is good. It missed 1 star because I once received a different item in my order (i.e., with the same brand and size, but different variants). Too lazy to send it back.
