Communication during the ordering and delivery process was excellent.
So, watch as expected, Comms excellent. However, I knocked off 1 star because the packaging was not great. It is a thin card shaped-envelope type, with a bit of shredded card packing and the watch in a small bubble wrap bag inside; then all in a bubblewrap-lined envelope. The shaped envelope was slightly crushed in the post. A card inside with the watch number on it was a bit dirty too (though it is otherwise a nice touch). I was expecting the watch in some kind of protective box. If it was completely eco packaging I could forgive it, but the plastic bubblewrap bag and envelope let it down on that front. Use paper-padded envelopes and a small rectangular recycled card box for the watch and it would make sense. Don't let the product down with the packaging.
I hope that is useful, and I wish Maals luck. I like the look of the coming Giri Ventiquattro for myself.
