Went ahead with this company about 18 months ago to replace nearly all the windows and some large sliding glass doors in my home, and I can't say I am very happy with the results.

After fitting the sliding doors were crooked, however they were reasonably quick to get someone around to refit them, though to this day they are still less soundproof than they should be. I have had trouble closing an upstairs window which is temperamental but they have so far not got anyone one in to sort the problem.

My main bug bear though is that a three of months after fitting a run of tiles that butted up to another window they had fitted, suddenly started peeling away. I live in a townhouse that is identical to all the others in the road and no other house has had this problem. Clearly these tiles had been disturbed during the window fitting and had come loose. I contacted Manchester Window and after some discussion we came to an agreement.
We both accepted that the damage was caused by the window fitting however because of the age of the tiles and the weathering effect of time the tiles were not as secure on the wall as they should be. It was agreed that if I paid for the cost of supplying materials to cover up this section of damage then they would come and fit them free of charge, and that would occur as soon as they had a team doing work in my part of the country. The months went buy and nothing happened. I called them every few months, this always took several calls as they were so slow in getting back to me, and when they did it was always the same story, no team was coming to work in my area (London). The last time I spoke to them they said they had no one coming in the near future and I'd do better to find someone local to sort my problem.
After 18 months I realised that they had no intention of keeping up their end of the bargain and I had to pay a local man £1200 pounds to re-tile the area.
I am not happy!

We only wanted one door so Danny and the team were able to fit us in really quickly. Very good job, looks great. Thanks.

Manchester Window Factory replaced our windows & doors 8 yrs ago. When my key got stuck in the lock this week, I gave them a ring to ask for advice. Not only did Alex arrived to evaluate the situation within 30 mins of my call but he also managed to secure the house to allow me to go to work. He returned later that afternoon to replace the barrel. In situations like this, having the support of a local company is priceless - I cannot thank the guys at MWF enough for saving my day!

Had French doors fitted by Manchester Window Factory and we are delighted with them, the service was great from start to finish, very professional (no builders with bums hanging out of jeans and no hard sell, no "I'll just ring the boss and see what I can do"), would recommend them to anyone, everything was done on time and the finished product is perfect

Did an absolutely amazing job 9 windows, price we were quoted was the price we paid Danny came to our house and was in and out within minutes, I was so happy with the service I recommend them to my 80 year old grandmother she had acoustic glass fitted this was also done to the same high standard. The fitters were all very tidy and cleaned up after themselves. Thank you Danny and Alex and everyone else at MWF. Highly recommend????????

One of the best things was the flexibility of times, very accommodating to book appointments for quoting/measuring/fitting when I wanted - not "sometime between 8 and 6" like you get with most companies.

Price is not the cheapest - but you get what you pay for. All top quality stuff.

I'm very happy I chose MWF to fit my windows and doors after a negative experience last year with one of the nationals-WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!. Really easy buying process with no nonsense, fitters who actually arrive on time and a fair (though not cheap) price. Isn't that all anybody wants???

Not enough superlatives for this company, excellent service from start to finish, from Danny, Alex and Mark at HQ, to the well mannered, hard working trio of fitters that worked tirelessly fitting our windows in freezing conditions. Well done All and Thankyou so much.

Had arranged for MWF to start around 8.30am this morning to fit two new windows. The guys actually arrived a little early; they were very friendly and professional, and took care to tidy up both inside and out after installation. The windows look great and are such an improvement, so I'm very pleased and would recommend MWF. Top marks also for getting on with the job although we had wind, rain and hail this morning!

We used this company for a third time recently and each time has been a real pleasure. They are honest and do a great job. The first time we used them was around 8 years ago and it was nice to see they still have the same staff working for them. The communication from the office has been excellent and our guarantees and document l certificates have always been promptly dealt with.

From the onset our dealings with Alex, Danny and the fitters has been a pleasure.
We contacted the firm for a quote, Danny came, carried out an initial assessment and gave us a good honest price, no flannel, no messing around contacting a ‘Manager’ to get the deal of the day, the price given was very good, once we confirmed we would be going ahead they got on with the survey and gave us a date, which they stuck too.
From start to finish, the two fitters, Andy and Dave were brilliant, very thorough, very tidy too.
