Not doing this review for an opportunity to win an ipad, but I really want people to know that The Merchant Equipment Store is truly one of the quickest, professional, competitively priced companies I have ever purchased from. I have them bookmarked for the next time.

I have ordered repeatedly for my work place from The Merchant Equipment Store. I always receive great service. They have reasonable prices, fair shipping costs and SUPER FAST shipping!

I've been using the Merchant Equipment Store for years because they always sell me equipment at less cost than Elavon, my processor.

I bought a terminal with two day shipping and a week later I asked why it wasn't here yet. It hadn't shipped and the rep who emailed me back acted like it shipped already (because he just shipped it). Quality of the product was great. They even offered to give me a full refund (without restocking fee) when I had to get a different terminal because the one I chose was unsupported. This part of the process was greatly helpful. I'll follow up on this review after I've received the replacement terminal as to whether the shipping happens quickly the second time around.

Buyer be aware there equipment might NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR and you will have to return your products at your own expense + THEY CHARGE 20% RESTOCKING FEE FOR ITEMS THAT NEVER BEEN OPEN.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE NO HELP.

First of all, they put my account on 10% reserve without notifying me, then went on to put it on 100% reserve still without notification. I admit that I was selling a high risk product, but still, no notification whatsoever that my funds were being held. Then now that the account has been dead for 4 months with no chargeback activity, they are playing games with me about releasing the reserve funds and both of the workers there Joe Brannon and Logan in customer service have directly told me that if I keep complaining they are going to hold the funds for the full 180 days.

This company is 100% dishonest, unethical, and shouldn't even be in business.

From what I understand the owner has a Malibu beach house and the other principal owner of the company Joe Brannon is the phony risk department manager whose phone number goes directly to voicemail, or he has one of his customer service lapdogs give you the run around.

Bottom Line - This Company Is Garbage!!!

I have dealt with at least 20 different processing companies over the years as an online merchant, and this was the WORST company BY FAR!!!! And I really mean that from the depths of my being.

It's Christmas and I need money to pay my bills, pay rent, and buy gifts for my family and these guys are over here telling me that they are going to hold the money for another 60 days into January, which is the longest amount of time that they can legally hold it.

Kudos to them for being the biggest jacka**es of the year.

I placed an order on 12/18/2014. It is 1/15/2015 and I have still not received my merchandice nor have I been notified of its status.

I am very satisfied with the Merchant Equipment part of my purchase. I have a great displeasure with the delivery. I paid extra for three day delivery and it took four days. I went an extra day before being able to use the equipment. Since I had made arrangements to get it going first thing Wednesday (12/11) morning, it caused a great inconvenience for me.
I sent an e-mail to Merchant inquiring about it, but have not received a response.

I purchased the Addressograph Bartizan 4000 Manual Imprinter for a total of $30.97 and it's a piece of junk. It does not imprint well even after adjusting, but I can send it back if I want to pay shipping and a 20% restocking fee.
