Miccostumes

I've ordered a demon slayer swimsuit off of Miccostumes because I've heard great things about them. Well I ordered the swimsuit in March and it said it would arrive by May 11-13 and it's currently May 17! I've contacted them through email a lot and haven't even gotten a reply. I've looked up why it's taking so long and it said they're probably making the costume but it should of been done by now and others have gotten theirs way faster! Honestly do not buy from Miccostumes they're service sucks and are most likely a scam!

(11/7) My first order from this site was great. They sent my order out a few days early with the tracking number, and it arrived very quickly. The quality was good for the price point, and I got what I wanted. Now, I'm having a very different experience. My latest order "shipped" days late (and only after I sent something through their FAQ page contact asking why it hadn't shipped, to which I got no response). I still haven't received a shipment email and there's no tracking number on my order page like there was with my first order. I have sent several emails to them about this already and no one has responded to those. I sent something through their messenger chat on the website, and got a response of "we'll email it", but it's been days and I haven't gotten any further contact through any method. The image attached is the only reply I've been able to get from them at all. I'm starting to get really pissed off about this, especially since there's really nothing I can do except hope I didn't get scammed. Does anyone know if I can file a claim if this doesn't show up by the date I was promised it would when I ordered it? Because this is ridiculous and I'm not going to let them take my money and not send me anything. Update (11/11): I received a shipment email on 11/9 around 11:30PM with a tracking number. However, this tracking number has absolutely no location information when I try to add it to my package tracking app. I'm also getting an error asking me if I'm sure the destination country is the US, which is worrying. The link attached to the email for me to track it on the miccostumes site doesn't actually exist. When I attempt to track the package through the carrier's (China Post) website, it tells me the tracking number doesn't exist in their system (yet). What is happening? Why does my tracking app seem to think that the final destination of the package isn't in the US, which is where it's supposed to end up? And why doesn't he tracking number exist in the carrier's system? Supposedly, it's been over a week since my item shipped, so the grace period of 1-2 days for them to put the package into the system is long past. This is so ridiculous. (I will update this review if anything changes with this second order.)

I have never had such a terrible experience purchasing a costume. We ordered back in February for a convention that happened this weekend and the costume was never even shipped. We kept getting told that there's a delay and that it would ship in a few days. I spent 3 weeks going back and forth over email and phone and ultimately ended up having to cancel and get a refund (which we still haven't received) and had no costume for the convention. I would discourage anyone from ever purchasing from here, they don't care about customer service or integrity. They lie constantly and just tell you what you want to hear so they can keep your money. I will NEVER be purchasing anything from them ever again.

I thought of purchasing a cosplay costume to my younger sister on her birthday. When I was browsing through the available collection of cosplay costumes in Miccostumes, I was able to figure out something that my sister loves. I decided to spend my money on it without any doubt on mind. It was made in excellent quality and a durable material. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and I recommend Miccostumes.

I ordered a Blair, from Soul Eater, cosplay from them and overall I'd say it was very mediocre at best. The quality of the costume I'd say was very, well, Party City. The costume had no stretch and no elastic anywhere and thus was a pain to get on because of the stitching in the waistline, and it ended up ripping slightly while I was trying to take it off. Somehow still, when I put it on the costume was too big around the bodice and was also a bit long for my torso. It also didn't help that they never sent me any texts or emails about a tracking number when it had shipped, and they didn't respond any of the times I reached out asking for one. So, pretty much, I spent a whole week worried if I would even receive it or not. I also tried to review the product on their website and it would just not let me for some reason, which seemed pretty odd. Their return policy is also pretty bad and a bit over complicated, as they have several different return policy pages that all say slightly different things. Overall I'd say that I don't feel I really got my money's worth, and judging by all the other reviews of people who purchased something and never even received it, I'd say you're better off searching for a more reliable website, like maybe etsy, or just trying to make it yourself.

They sent me a confirmation email saying that they received my order. I paid for expedited shipping through PayPal. They claimed to never receive my order, even though I have a confirmation email. When I tried to resolve it with them, they were unresponsive. I never got the costume, a reply, an apology... nothing.

Used the size guides provided and chose what, in theory, was the perfect size. It wasn't. It was way too small. In two different areas. One was a halterneck strap that was probably like 5/6 inches too small, the other is the bust/design at the front that should cover the bust. Even on someone who is THREE sizes smaller than me most of the time the halterneck is way too small. And the company expects me to either pay a fortune to send it back, or pay out of my own pocket to have a dressmaker put in a new halterneck strap. They've totally ignored the fact that the bust and design of the front of the dress is too small. They just expect me to not wear a bra or "a chest sticker" or have any support or cover at all. It's a thin dress and it'll be a costume party WITH KIDS AND ELDERLY RELATIVES ETC. They're also SO RUDE and don't listen at all. Avoid them!

Probably the worst experience I've had with a brand. They consistently ignore your emails and will refuse to communicate with you. I spent 80$ on a costume that never came in and i ordered it October of 2019. It's July 2020. They haven't given me a refund either, no matter how much i ask. AWFUL.

0 stars if possible... worst customer service. Have ignorantly ordered over 4 times and wvery order the costume has came damaged or where i need to take it somewhere to be mended! Wiga are good though

I ordered a cosplay back in Dec 2015. Said it would be shipped between the end of Feb and early March. It was a plus size, so I expected that. Early March rolls around and I email them asking if my costume was ready. They say it won't be ready until June or July, which is unacceptable! I never received email from them during the time, even though they said they sent me one(lies), and was extremely upset. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund, however they keep delaying in giving it to me. I'm still currently battling them for my 240 dollars back. I was really excited to have this outfit for a con, but now I won't be able to.

I've bought 4 costumes from them and all have been amazing! There's usually only maybe one thing wrong per costume but it's usually an easy fix since I know how to sew (like sizing is a bit baggier and I have to take it in) but otherwise they're amazing! I usually get it in a timely manner as well, and their stuff is always quality!

Ordered two cosplays on August 24th. Received one mid september, it didn't fit, at all, when I'd used the sizing chart they had available. Come to find out they'd changed the sizing chart AFTER I'd ordered and neglected to tell me. I asked about the other cosplay and why it hadn't arrived, and was told it was because they were no longer doing a medium size for that cosplay and again neglected to tell me. I told them the new size I wanted and waited for them to send it to me. I sent the other cosplay back, and after 2 weeks of trying to get a refund I still haven't received one. I tried asking where my refund was 2 weeks ago and was just given a 3-5 business day speil. I've tried contacting again to no avail. As for the second cosplay? It still hasn't arrived. I just got a notification from FedEx today that it will take 5 days longer to send when I need it before November 2nd and have no idea if it will fit or not. Oh, and with the first cosplay? There were strings all over it, and the cosplay dimensions didn't even line up with the ones online. NEVER shop miccostumes.

I loved the products I got from miccostumes. Everything was high quality and fit well to their sizing charts they had on the website. I would recommend cosplays from their company and will be using them again in the future.

I've ordered Princess Zelda cosplay - the winter version from BoW and Princess Zelda's long wig. The wig is heat resistant and the color is natural! I'm very very satisfied about these products cause they're made with good materials, they fit perfectly and they are quite detailed! So I think it's really worthy!

I ordered costume on MicCostumes, and it said that the XL would fit me. Once I received the costume none of it fit. I couldn't get anything to zip. I compared the measurements online with what I got and there was at least a 3 inch difference in the waist, bust and hip of the top. The skirt was small too. Their request for return page is broken. The 'Search' button to find your order doesn't do anything and the 'Reason to Return' drop down box doesn't let you select anything Do NOT waste your money here

I’ve read a lot of bad reviews from this company, yet i’ve taken the risk. When i placed my order they said it would be send out on the 6th of July and arrive at the first of August. After the payment was complete the shipping status had been “processed” “shipped” and “arrived” all at the same day... Which was very suspicious and makes me a little worried, but i decided to wait for a month. After just 3 weeks my package did arrive! I’m so happy with my new awesome Ahri swimming suit, which I couldn’t find anywhere else! I would definitely buy again from Miccostumes!

I was looking for a costume of pokemon character for my play but was unble to find it any where then i opened this site and found a number of different costumes of pokemon. I ordered it and when i received it i checked the stuff and quality it was awesome, and also the price of costume was also reasonable and affordable. I placed an order way back in January for a cosplay costume. I was told that it would arrive yesterday. I got an email early this morning telling me that the cosplay costume I ordered was out of stock. They already had taken payment from me. I will not be ordering from miccostumes again.

I ordered a cosplay in early March for a convention at the end of May. It was expected to be shipped by early April and arrive mid May. I figured 2+ months was plenty of time for my cosplay to arrive on time for the con, since I never had a problem with my cosplays from other companies taking longer than maybe a month and a half AT THE MOST. April came by and I figured maybe the website is just backed up, but when it got to mid May and it had already passed the expected delivery date without having shipped I got worried. I emailed them and they said they could not guarantee it would arrive before the date of the con but that there was a "great chance" it would. The cosplay shipped the day before the con and didn't arrive until the second day of the con. Don't buy your cosplay from this website, there are plenty of others that will get your cosplay to you on time, in advance. Very disappointed with this company.
