The food is fantastic , yummy and quick to prepare ( might need to buy a few extra pantry items to start with thou)
The website isn't very interactive but there are ways around that .

The range of programs available is incredible, the forums are supportive and well monitored, I never read anything negative (unlike other programs ABBBC) and all my questions were answered.
The videos of each excercise are great (especially because i had no idea what they were before) and the options available for food was great and diverse, I love the recipe index!
I learnt a lot about food, excercise and my mindset. I changed my life.
Forums, Food Plans, Excercie Choices and Mindset lessons/Snip Tips
Slighty pricey but worth it for the quality and cumstomer service.

I found the program confusing initially but was able to nut it out by using the forums, which really, was just asking other participants.....
I purchased the recommended protein powder as a protein shake appeared in my snack list, however a friend flagged it as not appropriate, when I asked the team I was advised it was not suitable while I was breastfeeding....even though I was on a breast feeding program.
I found my grocery bill skyrocketed, & I was having to make second meals for hubby as he was still hungry, he's quite slim & tall. My son wouldn't eat the meals so I was having to make separate meals for him anyway.
My breast milk supply dropped significantly & I was forced to take a supplement to continue feeding my 5 month old.
I found that such strict eating only made me crave junk food that I had never really eaten before!!
With to small children at home, getting to the gym wasn't always possible, so initially I thought the income workouts were great......till my Internet dried up after I watched 3 in 1 week!! I called my provider & confirmed it was the workouts.
I think if I didn't have kids I could have made the program work, & I've kept on with some of the snacks & meals.
Unfortunately my baby got really sick around week 7 of the 12 week challenge & I didn't get much of a chance after that to get back online, I lost interest & was surprised that I didn't hear anything from the program in the way of support or encouragement.
I have only lost 1 kg on the program, & since the challenge ended, I have lost 3kgs on my own, not following the program.
I think it teaches people healthy eating/living, which is great, but it was no good for me or my family.
Good recepies, different workout options
In home workouts use up too much Internet data to play, increased grocery cost, hubby is slim & didn't find any if the meals filling (even with double portions!), my toddler wouldn't eat any of the meals, I was breast feeding my 5 month old & the program really affected my milk supply , as soon as I increased my calories my supply returned, I have lost more weight since I stopped the program just doing what I normally do, than what I did on the program. Recommended snacks in my program were not suitable whistle breastfeeding, but I had to ask the question directly to the team, I I didn't ask I out don't have known. Video messages are used to 'flog' Michelle bridges products & get more money out of you!! Poor support.

Our budget is tight, but $200 for 12WBT was great value for me. I'm a single parent working 30 hours a week, running my kids to sport and activities after school, and doing all the other work of housework and yardwork on my own, so there isn't much spare time - but by following the Beginner exercise program I was able to get fit and feel more energised than I have for 15 years. I've lost the weight that crept on from years of working at a desk, and now fit back into clothes I haven't worn since before I had children. I also have abdominal muscles that I didn't know existed!!
The nutrition program looked interesting and yummy but I didn't have time to prepare such a variety of meals, so picked out recipes that I knew would fit into our budget and family food, and did variations of these each week. There were heaps of options to choose from, but the main thing I needed to do was prepare for the week on Sunday afternoon - shred salads, cut up veges, make sure the food I needed was in the fridge/pantry, and then prepare it the night before each day.
I am in my 40s, and don't like "the burn" that fit people talk about, so I didn't kill myself with the exercise program - if I had to rest in between sets or couldn't do it exactly like it was laid out, no guilt. I did what I could and pushed harder when I had the energy. When I started the program I could not run 20metres without puffing - now I jog for 20 minutes (about 3km) with no problem. One of the best things to come from this is that my children are joining me for running and workouts.
So I guess overall, I found this program worked in with our life well - it just took daily commitment from me to get my feet out of bed and put my shoes on. I guess the turning point was to realise that no-one else was going to do this for me - the only way it would happen was if I stuck to the program.
That is built up fitness slowly and was achievable; showed me how to exercise and helped me focus on my goals.
Sometimes the website was annoying to navigate - several screens to get back to where I wanted to be.

The portion sizes do take a little while to get used to especially if you are used to eating huge meals but once you get used to it the meals are actually very filling. Admittedly I didn't follow the exercise plan as set but did exercise more at my own pace and still lost a significant amount of weight. I think the best thing is that you are preparing all of your own meals from scratch which teaches you healthy eating in the long term whereas places that have you eating pre packed meals aren't really teaching you much at all. I would highly recommend this program especially if you are looking for a long term lifestyle change.
That you can customize your meal plan each week. Also that there are so many receipies available to choose from so it doesnt get boring.
The online home work outs ended up costing a bit to download and arent a great option for those who had pre paid internet.

I committed myself to the at home exercise regime and thought this wouldn't be a problem as I had previously regularly attended the gym 4-5 times per week.
I found the meals to be great, a lot of variety, easy to prepare and cook.
After week 4 of the 12WBT, I begun to experience some severe lower back pain. This pain continued to increase to the point that I was unable to continue on with the program, nor was I able to complete any form of exercise.
I was bed ridden for two weeks, unable to go to work, unable to leave the house. I went to the doctors whom then referred me for a MRI scan. The scan produced a result of having two bulging discs in my lowed back, extreme inflammation, leaking fluid and nerves hitting my spinal cord. My GP stated that this was a recent injury and most likely due to a change in exercise regime.
It is now 12 months on, I experience pain in my lower back on a daily basis, although it has improved, I still am occasionally required to take time off work for days where I am bed ridden, I now attend fortnightly physio appointments and see a sport injury/management specialist on a monthly basis. My GP reported that my back will never return to how it was before the injury and may possibly require surgery further on down the track if it doesn't further improve.
I have now put on an additional 10 kilos since the injury, as I have been unable to exercise no where near the extent I could previously exercise and have been limited to walking only.
This program has ruined my life, I never had one problem with my back before commencing this program, and now I cant even put on my shoes properly or make a bed without experiencing some level of pain.
The exercises within the program are ridiculous and you should be extremely careful before signing up for this program.

I did a beginners round for weight loss, and I couldn't recommend it more. It taught me invaluable skills and knowledge to do with my health and fitness, and now that the 12 weeks is over I'm still using them and am healthier than ever.
Like most things, it is what you make it, and if you're not willing to push yourself you won't get the results. But if you're committed and put the effort in - even if you just say "it's only for 12 weeks", you will get to the end and never want to look back.
Pros:
- Really simple to follow program which outlines everything you eat and all the exercises you should be doing - perfect for noobs like me
- Reasonably easy to adapt the program, i.e. by the end of it I was finding it easy to swap around meals according to my favourites or my schedule that week
Cons:
- Rather expensive. I found that I was spending a lot more on groceries in the first few weeks in particular. Firstly because I had to stock up my pantry with things I didn't own before, and then because if you follow the program to the letter you have to cook quite a few meals every week. That's great for variety, but not so practical for time consumption/budget. By the end when I was getting used to things I started picking meals I could cook in bulk and freeze, and that saved me a lot of time/money. My advice would be to stick to the program for the first half or so, and then start to design a program that suits you when you have a bit more knowledge. That'll put you in better stead when the program finishes and you're out on your own, too ;)
