Would like to thank Brian, Mike, Steve, Jason, Dave and John for their help, guidance and instruction during my time on the gas course. I come from a non trades background and want to change career direction, the course and instructors especially Brian, Mike, Jason and Steve have given me the confidence, skills and knowledge to achieve my aspirations of getting on the tools. I would thoroughly recommend the course to anyone who like me wants a new direction, if your thinking about it do it you wont be disappointed. Once again thanks guys.

Option skills really surpassed my expectations , in particular my tutor Tony helped myself from start to finish and gave me the confidence I needed to complete the 8 weeks. He was patient, knowledgable and helpful. All other tutors was friendly and helpful too and a good vibe around the college was created by the staff.

I just finished an 8 week gas engineer course working towards my ACS. The training was excellent and the trainers were very detailed in explaining and helping us with any concerns we had. I'm very confident I can go out into the real world and use the skills I have been shown to help further my career.

I have recently completed my 8weeks on the domestic gas course and would very highly recommend it to anyone that is considering this career. I did my training at Birmingham where I was trained by Brian, mike and Steve. All of which are very experienced and knowledgeable guys, and will go above and beyond to help you out. I can’t say enough good things about them. So if you are thinking about it, just pop in and see for yourself. Thanks guys ????????

Recently finished my 8 week training with Option Skills , I had Tony as my trainer , what can I say about my New Uncle Tony ..... perfect this man will help you anyway he can , he’s goes above and beyond to assist you in your learning , I personally had an issue getting my head around controls as I have never seen them before so Tony went out his way to explain them in a different way for my brain to understand, we also had some input from Ryan who is the same he will help you anyway he can all you need to do is ask . I would say if you are going on this course just be honest with the trainers if your struggling tell them and they will help you out

I had a great experience studying with Options Skills in Manchester. The teachers were all knowledgeable and helpful. Tony was my main tutor and he was excellent, he created a relaxed and informal atmosphere within the group which really helped.
Just a word though that this course might not be for everyone, there is a lot to take on board and some maths involved so perhaps have a think before signing up.
For me though I'm very glad I've done it and looking forward to my new career. Thank you

After trying for nearly a year to get him an apprenticeship I enrolled my 19yo son on this gas engineers course and so far we are absolutely delighted.

The Manchester facilities have classroom and workshops and practical work bays for project work. Course work materials and weekly tests are provided.

He is finishing off his 8 weeks of theoretical and practical work at the main facilities then he will spend time on real projects with a mentor to develop his portfolio before returning to the facility to undertake his competency tests.

It has been such a pleasure seeing my son learn these new skills and discuss what he has learned during his development and undertakes practice work at home. He now has a direction in his career and is better for it.

It has a really friendly and fun atmosphere, Steve Rickus was my well knowledge teacher during the course, he never gets tired of students asking questions and he patiently answered all, also M.Arshad was so helpful during the course and helped us learning it, I’m so thankful to you guys and I know anytime during my learning experience I can count on you!

Firstly, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my tutor Steve Rickus and M.Arshad who have helped me with learning and are excellent teachers with a wealth of knowledge,and fun.Also thankful to Kiren ,Brain,Dave,Jason and Mike.Started this course with no gas background at all, but took the chance and it was well worth it.I have completed my 8 weeks Gas Safe Training Course in Option Skills they have provided 1st class training,I have had a look at many training centres before choosing option skills and I am so happy that I made right choice.I am walking out of here feeling confident,Really enjoyed the 8 weeks at the training centre in Birmingham.the whole team have been very helpful. Overall very pleased with the course, I would definitely recommend options skills for the quality of training I’ve received.

I've recently finished my course at options skills, the course I attended was the NVQ level 3 Electrical training course and course itself is fantastic, you learn all the basic fundamental skills that will start you off for a new career ahead of you, but the knowledge and skill doesn't come without having excellent tutors which will be Paul, Terry or Craig at Manchester, they are top blokes and really take their time with you if there's a certain part of the course you are struggling with or don't understand,


I'm now set to start a job with a firm local to me with the qualifications I have gained in the two months, with the support from the tutors at Manchester to help me work through my portfolio to become fully qualified in the next 12 to 24 months, so even after the two months they will still be with you every step of the way until you are qualified, so if you are fed up of your current position or just want a complete change which was my situation you can achieve this.


Once again a massive thank you to Paul, Terry and Craig they know their stuff, I probably couldn't of asked for better tutors.
