Splashback remains unfinished after 3 months I have gaps between my glass and the cupboards and Paz and the kitchen designer/installer just blame one another and I am no closer to having a kitchen thats looks professional and finished. I have arranged to be home for several measuring appointments, re-measuring (which they even charged me for), two failed delivery appointments (didn't turn up as planned and then a week later arrived with a piece of glass without the powerpoint cut into it) and then several meetings when I've been unhappy with the product

I booked my kitchen with IKEA and they use PazStone. The company is disorganised and the lady who pick up the calls is rude. I booked online as it is instructed, the lady called me a week before my booked date to confirm that my kitchen is installed. I said my kitchen will be installed before my booked date. She then asked for a picture to prove it. So once my kitchen is done, I called her, send her pictures. She told me "good, now i can book you in for next week." EXCUSE ME? I booked it six weeks ago, now you tell me you Just about to book me in?She said, "this is just what we do, we can't book you in until we see the pictures." So why didn't you tell me before? And it will take them about 3 weeks (if lucky) to get it installed+one week delayed measurement.
I told her it is not a good experience booking stone with them, she seemed didn't care at all. She just keep saying, "This is how it is, I can't book you in any earlier."
No sorry, no apology, no explanations, it just this is how it is.

I see some five star ratings for that company on this website, I seriously doubt if they are true.

Follow up on this: i went to IKEA to make a complaint, IKEA said, "we've never known anyone need to send a picture through to prove. You should be booked in specially they called you a week before."

I'm going to keep an eye on this, and follow up if the quality of stone is not good enough.

As they say hindsight is 20/20. I ordered an IKEA kitchen before going away in mid-December, install planned for January 21. The installer was excellent and finished the kitchen in a day. IKEA arrange the stone and splashback – you then realise that this is subcontracted to Paz Stone (http://www.pazstone.com.au/)
I booked an appointment for the measure on 19th January – for the Wednesday or Thursday, paid and then waited. Someone got in touch to say they are not there on the weekend, but the measurer would come out on the Thursday. BTW the website is terrible, you answer all these questions and to pay is problematic. Why they don’t have an app where you can book the measure online without human intervention is anyone’s guess. The measure guy arrived and did his plan etc, took the sink out the unopened box and didn’t both to put it back properly.
We were told by IKEA that the benchtop and splashback would be installed within 2 weeks. After 3.5 weeks, Paz came to install the benchtop only to find that the factory had cut the stone incorrectly. So back to the factory, everyone else like plumber and electrician on hold waiting for them to get their act together. Returned two days later to fit. The installers are contractors and do not work for Paz, both for the splashback and the benchtop. The splashback guy explained that for the size of the splashback, he should have had an additional person with him, so I had to help him guide the glass and get it on to the wall with all the electrical wires etc. So, after 4 weeks, I thought yay, done with Paz now just the final touches, but no, the plumber arrived at the crack of dawn only to find that they did not put the hole in the stone for the tap fitting and also commented that there is no caulking – apparently they don’t think this is necessary, so water etc, can get in under the sink and down the sides of the benchtop.
With Paz, the customer service is non-existent and this is one of the worst organisations I have ever dealt with. Until I started to post on Instagram, the National Operations Manager, was completely dismissive of my predicament and indicated that he couldn’t be bothered if I wrote bad reviews about them, basically no empathy or understanding that you can’t cook, that your business suffers because you keep having to be around to open up for people to get access to the house. I understand from the plumber that IKEA moved their business to Paz Stone because the previous supplier was no good and now they have too much work, because they also install for Bunnings and it’s a case of the whole business being out of control.
My advice is if you want an IKEA kitchen, organise your own benchtop through a reputable supplier or better still go to another kitchen supplier and let them manage this for you. Note, I have lodged a complaint with IKEA seeking recourse, but they take forever to come back to you – and you have paid in full so they really couldn’t be bothered.
You may think it is cheaper, but when you have not had a kitchen for 4 weeks, cooking on one plate or buying expensive takeaways and doing your dishes in the laundry, you will gladly pay extra for a supplier that knows what they are doing. I cannot stress enough to stay away from these Paz Stone, they will drive you crazy.

We have just had our 4th replacement after many dramas over 7 years. Now this one has tiny black pitt holes throughout our snow stone bench top.
You can feel the holes. Still waiting on response

Ordered and rushed to pay deposit through Bunnings as Paz stone staff member pressurised for money then business went into 'receivership' a week before Christmas. Even the day before they were still taking orders and are getting away with it again. Company is also called essential stones - watch out!

Pazstone were contracted to produce my benches for an ikea kitchen back in November 2017. They have been very difficult to communicate with, do not answer their main phone number (no voicemail), emails are not replied in a timely manner and they do not answe their mobile if you have a private number! I’m not sure who can run a business like that. Certainly not them!

We made a huge mistake in selecting a Bunnings/Kaboodle kitchen to replace our ten year old build. The kitchen cabinetry is of very poor quality, the Bunnings recommended installers, tradepro Installation Services are a renovators nightmare, but Pazstone Brisbane has saved us from a total disaster by supplying very good benchtops and splashbacks.

The granite benchtops are excellent and can't be faulted. Installation is to a high standard including the joins. The only negative is a 10:00am appointment really means 5:00pm arrival and a 7:30pm finish. Worth the trouble though.

The glass splashbacks are also of very good quality and the installation is good. As with the benchtops, you should totally ignore any scheduled appointment time/day as they will turn up when they are good and ready.

Pazstone is the only thing holding together a kitchen that Bunnings should be embarrassed and ashamed of. I would use Pazstone again but never in combination with Bunnings/Kaboodle and tradepro Installation Services.

#delivery(4/5) #price(4/5) #quality(4/5) #customer service(4/5) #on-time(4/5)

Ordered as part of Ikea kitchen and told 1 week from measure to install. Took 2 weeks from measurement to install (busy). Discovered error in measurement so one panel not installed. Not rushed thru as requested, so over another 2 week wait. Same panel not measured correctly (installer pointed out that it sat higher than panel next to it and 4mm gap between two panels along lower side) but better than before and I wasn't waiting another 2+ weeks. White splashbacks so requested white silicone. Ran out of white silicone so gap between two panels started in white silicone and finished in clear! The large 4mm gap was also done in clear silicone and looks pretty awful and obvious. I am going to scrape it out myself and redo it. No-one called to check how install went which was disappointing. This is what happens when you pay up front, there was no urgency to get the job done or comeback if they don't do a good job ie hold back payment. Everyone I dealt with from measurers to installers were great. It's just the process and product not so.

We were told three weeks for installation, then after they forgot to process the order for over a week, they then say it's four weeks on top of the week they were sitting doing nothing.

It is VERY inconvenient not having benchtops and the fact they lie like this is crazy. Very very disappointing!

Took them an entire month to do a “detailed design drawing” of a rectangle (I had already given them my interpretation of what a rectangle looks like)....then once they were finally happy with the rectangle they had so much difficulty in drawing they booked in an installation date. A few days later having not received a written confirmation of this date I called the company. More than 24 hours later I managed to get on to a senior staff member who advised me my installation was cancelled due to all of the machinery being “broken”. They then said they could not even give me an installation date until 5 days later. I then cancelled and requested my deposit returned. This took them over 7 days to process. In the time it took them to return the deposit I managed to source a different company to cut and install my stone.
I would absolutely avoid this company at all costs! Complete lack of communication, no replies to emails from management within Pazstone, however they are very quick at taking your money to start with. Do yourself a favour and find a better company to cut and install your stone. The amount of stress they caused on the other trades trying to work around them was debilitating.
