I got a Logitech Trackball from Pixmania. All was smooth until I noticed a factory fault in one button. I returned it and asked for a refund. 11 days later I get a confirmation for a refund. 7 days later I was still waiting! They said there was a difficulty (they didn't explain!?) but money would be refunded that same week (that was Monday). Friday I called again, and only then did they order the refund!? 11+7+5=24 days for a "refund order"! No actual refund! That's a month waiting for your money!

I purchased a camera (Pentax digital), and subsequently a camera lens from pixmania. The product was returned to Pixmania through their ZenEngagement program. It took 2 months and repeated pestering to get the product sorted and the refund processed. I am now ANOTHER two months into the refund re-issue process because of issues with the lens. The company does not provide phone customer service if you order online (at all), be advised. Do not use this merchant.

Ordered a Corsair C300 256gb SSD from Pixmania on 4th October 2011 - whilst they were having their birthday bonanza random sale. £257.69 including postage was £50 cheaper than anywhere else on the internet (including the manufacturers refurbs available on e-bay!).

Where did it get too? They took my money! Unfortunately after a 5 day investigation by bPost (their courier) the item was deemed lost. At this point they said they had no stock, so could only offer a refund or vouchers. That was bull****, they had loads in stock but they were now back at the retail price of £339ish + postage, that was for a several days before they recently dropped the price to £274.69 + postage.

I will give them credit for refunding through paypal within 24 hours but that was only because I kicked up a stink with some director person at their Paris head office(I had to start throwing my toys around!).

Avoid PIXMANIA at all costs - unless you like a good argument and you can curse well in French.

I bought a wireless pc card november 30th. No sign of the thing not being in stock. The confirmation e-mail said the card would be sent to me within 2 or 3 days. From then on.... silence...... December 5th I called Pixmania (0,25 eurocents per minute). They told me the card wasn't available anymore and that the manufacturer of the card could not deliver until december 19th. I asked them how it's possible I could order a card that wasn't there anymore. "It's possible that the moment you ordered someone bought the last item just seconds before you", they told me. And why didn't they just send me an e-mail telling me so? "We don't do that" they simply replied.
December 19th passed and guess what... still no sign. I called again today. Now the story was: "The manufacturer just told us he cannot deliver the card at all". But they would give me a refund. Like hell they will!! I asked again (what can you do) why I didn't receive an e-mail telling me this. Well, I knew the story... And I asked: "What if I hadn't called? Would you have given me a refund anyway?"
They bluntly told me that they wouldn't have done so,not until I would have contacted them myself.
I'm so pissed right now! I should be getting my money back within 10 workingdays ("We're in France, you see". No I DON'T!) I sure hope I don't have to go over to France in order to get it!!
All I can say to anyone is: NEVER buy anything from these french swindlers!

Around the 12th December 2004, I purchased an Epson P-2000 in Pixmania. By that time time item was not in stock (it was due for a couple of days later), but I thought the margin should be enough to get it at least by Christmas. What followed was a successive postponement of the date the item was due to be in stock. At some time the date was postponed to 20th January. Around that time I had waited enough and decided to cancel my order. Looking at my credit card account, I was quite surprised to see that it had already been charged (in the same day I made the order), despite the fact that Pixmania didn't even have the item in stock. That's simply how they make business, it seems. I emailed support and requested an imediate return of the money and the cancelation of the order. After a couple of weeks the money had been returned.

As the Epson P-2000 was out of stock almost everywhere, I was a bit relieved when I got a notification from Pixmania that they had the item in stock (this in 12th January 2005). I just though that I had had bad luck with the stock in the previous order, so I decided to give Pixmania another try. After all, they advertise in their site that when an item is in stock, they have a compromise in delivering the item in at least 48h. Unfortunately for me, I item also had its price increased by 20 EUR.

I went to the website and the item was in stock. I ordered it again. And then I waited, and waited. Three days after, I decided to email customer support asking for my order (again, my credit card had already been charged the same day I made the order). Note that during this time the item was always in stock, in the website. The support team took five days to answer my email, simply saying the item was not in stock and that it should be around February 11th. Somewhere in between, the website was updated and the item was no longer in stock (now it's due to be in stock for "more than 10 days").

So now I am again on wait, waiting for an already paid item that Pixmania doesn't even have in stock. I don't recommend Pixmania to anyone, keep out if you can. They deceive, charge your credit card immediatelly and the support is really bad.

Oltre il danno la beffa.Dopo aver avuto problema cn prodotto non conforme per sostituzione del quale mi hanno fatto penare,ora per un Hard disk Samsung che, come confermato da Samsung stesso ha 3 anni di garanzia ma che dovevo inviare a Pixmania, i quali dapprima hanno accettato il prodotto per intervento n garanzia inviandomi bolla di restituzione e dicendomi di inviare tramite Raccomandata Postale per avere il rimborso delle spese,non appena spedisco in "FRANCIA"e gli mando la ricevuta di E13,62, gli stessi mi mandano una mail con la quale mi dicono che anche se la garanzia samsung è di 3 anni loro ne danno solo 2 e che quindi oltre a non rimborsarmi le spese per l'invio da loro dapprima autorizzato, per riavere il prodotto devo pagare per la riparazione e per le ulteriori spese di rinvio.Alle mie lamentele mi rispondono sempre con la stessa mail con i contenuti di cui sopra scusandosi per il loro errore ma che nonostante il"loro" errore nel farmi inviare il prodotto, devo pagare!Altra situazione vergognosa è il comportamento dell'Operatore telefonico Alberto il quale alle mie lamentele mi chiude il telefono in faccia.Se la garanzia è di 3 anni su samsung, dopo che Pixmania Stessa mi autorizza l'invio, per riavere il prodotto devo sopportare tutte queste ingiuste spese. Credetemi una volta pagato pixmania è assente, anzi, crea ulteriori danni. Raggiungerli via mail un’odissea, la sede si trova in Francia e se ti risponde un operatore e ti lamenti ti chiude il telefono in faccia. Vi SCONSIGLIO Vivamente acquisti da loro, mi son sentito davvero male ad essere trattato in questa ingiusta e vergognosa maniera. Mai più Pixmania.

Over the damage the prank. After having had problem cn produced not conforming for substitution of which you/they have made me penare,ora for a Hard disk Samsung that, as confirmed by same Samsung it has 3 years of guarantee but that I had to send to Pixmania, which at first has accepted the product for intervention n guarantee sending stamps me of restitution and saying to send me through Postal Registered letter to have the reimbursement of the spese,nons as soon as I send in" FRANCIA"e I send him the receipt of E13,62, the same they send me a mail with which you/they tell me that even if the guarantee samsung is of 3 years of theirs gives only 2 of it and that therefore besides not refunding at first me the expenses for the dispatch from them cleared, to get back the product I have to pay for the reparation and for the further expenses of delay. To my complaints they always answer me with the same mail with the contents of which above excusing himself/herself/itself for their error but that despite il"loro" error in to make the product send me, has to pay! Other ashamed situation is the behavior of the operator telephone Alberto which closes me the telephone in face to my complaints. If the guarantee is of 3 years on samsung, after Pixmania Stessa authorizes me the dispatch, to get back the product I have to bear all these unfair expenses. Believe once me paid pixmania it is absent, rather it creates further damages. To reach them by mail an odyssey, the center it is found in France and if an operator answers you and you complains you about the telephone he closes you in face. I Warmly Dissuade you purchases from them, me son felt badly indeed to be treated in this unfair and ashamed way. Anymore Pixmania.

I ordered a camcorder package from the Greek site by credit card,no problems absolutely.Very fast delivery,3 days I think,it came to my house in,I guess, 98% packaging.Everything was in perfect condition,though.Great price.I've used it three batteries worth of time and no problems from the camera(luckily).That was my only fear ordering online,hoping not to have to test their customer service...

Still waiting on item, 6 weeks later, despite 3-4day delivery promise. Item has not even been dispatched- BUT pixmania have charged my credit card already.. I have tried to contact them electronically 5 times with zero satisfaction...

Bought 5 DVD boxed Sets for 30 euros.
There was a great choice of tv shows and movies.

Price way below competitors and delivery super fast.

Got great seasons of Fringe, true blood and The mantalist.
Enough to keep us entertain until next year :)

Per il black friday ho approfittato di una offerta vantaggiosissima, dopo 48 ore mi hanno scritto (in spagnolo...) che il prodotto era fuori stock. Così non ho potuto comprarlo altrove (visto che era giornata di sconti), oltretutto è passato quasi un mese e ancora non mi hanno restituito il denaro. parlare con loro è letteralmente impossibile. Non c'è modo di contattarli e ricevere una risposta. Pessimi da ogni punto di vista.

Having already purchased a digital camera from Pixmania in October 2004, I thought that there would be no issues with purchasing anther camera on the same terms in January 2005. However, I was gravely mistaken. Due to restrictions on receiving personal goods at my office I had requested that the camera this time (as before) be delievered to my boyfriends parents house. This time around Pixmania required a copy of my passport and one of my boyfriends parents utility bills as well as a copy of my passport prior to delivery! I tried to contact them to discuss their requirements and perhaps find a work around considering that I was already an existing customer and they had already received all my details and delivered to my boyfriends parents house before but, no, they simply cancelled my order with no explanation. I find this quite unbelievable. But clearly, if they feel they can turn customers away, I would recommend to others considering using them not to bother, as their customer service levels are simply non-existent! I can not imagine why they have introduced such ridicolous requriements on their web site. It is not as if I wanted to open a bank account when such requirementse may have been viewed as acceptable! Also, I am unsure as to the benefit of recieving faxed copies of these documents when they could clearly be forged!

Ordered a shaver on November 30th. They charged my credit card on that date. Following up the order (as the orderd item was a gisft) on December 2nd contacted them for delivery they apologise for delay and they promised either the same or next day they weill ship. Contacted them again on December 7th and again i received a reply asking sorry for delay. They eventually shipped it on December 8th. When i ordered the part delivery time to Greece was 2 days from shipment. On December 2nd they confirmed the 2 days delivery. I contacted UPS today and i found that they sent the item by lorry which takes 4-5 days to arrive!!! Hence total delivery time from order 14 days!!!!!
They lie and its the worst internet shop i ever purchased from. Certainly do not advice anyone to purchase from them as they are completely unreliable and unproffesional.
How stupid can you be when for an item you already delayed over a week to dispatch you send it not on offered confirmed delivery time of 2 days but rather in 4-5 days.
I asked them twice for compensation and they hide!!! I am an experienced internet shopper and i can ensure you that if it was a US shop they will have combensate me due to this delay without me asking for.....

Ordered an Epson 950 on 26th October - item was stated as being in-stock! Received email confirmation on the 27th stating that the item was out of stock and would be around 8-10 days. As I couldn't be bothered to cancel I left it at that. On the 5th November they send me another email staing the product will be a further 10 days (total 18 days for an "in-stock" item). I therefore contacted them and requested they cancel my order, which they did without fuss (to their credit).

I get annoyed by companies who feel they have to be dishonest about their stock levels in order to try and secure an order!

I ordered a Canon Powershot S60 digital camera, a case and a memory card from Pixmania. The camera arrived defective. It did not take focused pictures, and the pictures were also void of color. I suspect an internal lens-related part was broken.
I returned the defective camera to Pixmania, and they assured me that within 10 days my replacement request will be handled and I will obtain a replacement camera. It has been now 7 WEEKS (!) and I am still waiting to hear from them. They seldom answer my e-mails; my phone calls are useless. I have already paid for the camera, and they refuse to send me a new camera or reimburse me before their technical evaluation has been done, at some unknown time in the future... After the first 10 days went by, they promised an answer within 30 days, and when the 30 day mark went by, they just don't promise anything anymore.
I bought the camera for an upcoming trip, which has happened a month ago, and to which I did not have the camera I was hoping to have. Now I am not sure I will even have the camera for christmas next month.
I put this as a cuationary tale to future Pixmania customers. STAY AWAY FROM PIXMANIA!

The reason they are cheap in the UK is because they do not supply UK spec products. The Canon printer I bought came with a 2-pin plug and no adaptor. My enquiry (to a very unpleasant "customer care" person) brought the response that it was in the small print and it was OK. The 2 pin issue is not mentioned up front when you are searching for the lowest price. I have now received an adaptor, but I think it's a poor solution

Product, a chistmas gift, was ordered in November 2005.

It is now Feb 9th 2006. Product still not delivered. The product was in stock when ordered.

Pixmania's phone system is deadful to use and has about a 4% chnace of speaking to a human and a 1% chnace of taling to a human who cares. They will not give out phone numbers or emails to allow continied dialolgue and persist in refusing to call the customer.

It has taken 75 days to get an apology and even that was done from a faceless email address that would take a respone. I buy about 75% of presents from on-line sources for the last 5 years. This is the first time I have been let down so badly. I would strongly avoid Pixmania buy a long long long long way.

I recieved my Pentax Optio S5i 10 days after being promised by customer services. My camera went faulty within 2 days and it has now been a further 2 weeks without a camera as Pixmania will not refund me, until Pentax confirm the lens fault, despite their 7 day guarantee (not worth the web site it is written on!). They also cannot confirm reciept of my 512Mb card until they e-mail France, this has taken 1 week to find out! Not a good experience, despite the cheap goods, i am going back to Dabs who at least are based in the UK and can deal with problems quickly, they also have a UK 14 day guarantee which is legally applicable

I only wish I had read the reviews about this company before purchasing from them, I have to agree 100/% with the comments made in this forum concerning this Company.

I purchased a Toshiba TV from them which is Great except that the Remote Control was missing from the order, also there was no plug adapter for UK use,have made at leaset 9 E Mails to them which is so Customer UN-Friendly it beggars belief.

As for Telephoning the Customer Service - just forget it, you will not get through and as this is a very expensive high rate call you will soon be out of pocket.

I feel the more people who complain about this "OUTFIT" the better, I intend contacting their Chief Executive Officer and warn about the bad publicity that is being generated by Customers who have been treated badly.

My Advice is BUY ELSEWHERE it aint worth the Aggro buying from Pixmania.
