I did buy the offer rebtel has for 35 minutes which is $10.00 but never got it
when I did try to call my family in Cuba all it does its rings....and there is people waiting for the call, this is the worst place to waist your money the worst experience I have ever had trying to call my family in Cuba, I wish I could rate this company less than a STAR....I will not refer anyone to this company at the contrary I will tell anyone I know how bad it is ....

I joined rebtel a few years ago because their rates were about 10 cents a minute for calls to Zambia from the U.S. Fast forward now it's almost $10 a minute and my calls are 100 % shorter and extremely expensive. An automated voice comes on requesting to top-up my minutes by doing an automatic recharge to my credit card every time I'm on a call. That's a hungry shark trying to scam me of all my money. I tried to remove my credit card number from their site but somehow it's still stored in their database.

I tried multiple times to call 2 numbers but had no success. Asked for refund which I never received

Rates could be better, considering we purchase from Canada but get charged in US dollars. :( However, great service.

I always get good service from rebtel and often receive bonuses and deals which helps me because I call Cuba and it's the one country that is expensive to call...when I have a problem,usually it gets solved in a fast way? Thank you support team :-) Linda

I've tried using Rebtel for some time to reach my friend from Jamaica from France.
1. I got no free call that worked.
2. After a few months when attempting to add funds I could not login for 2 weeks.
3. The service center sent me 3 different login numbers, none of which worked.
4. I can't recommend them to anyone.

Ever since we got married, visiting Latin America has been one of our passions. Finally getting to fulfill this dream was like a life-time achievement! We managed to save enough money to embark on this journey, only to realise that our families were quite paranoid of us travelling alone, with no company or no relatives in a foreign land so far away! It was only but natural of them to think that way.

I did a quick search on how to stay connected and give an almost hourly update back home.Local calling cards turned out to be the cheapest option and we did not run the risk of feeling lonely either! Of all the operators, Rebtel gave great calling options in Peru, Brazil and Argentina. As for us, we had a great travel experience and since we stayed connected at all times, our folks and friends were at peace back home too! I now use Rebtel for all our travels abroad!

They block me from making calls and made me make payments every week even if I have 60+ minutes. I aske for explanation but i did not receive any meaningful support. The automated email told me that they will get back to me within 24 hours, but they contacted me after 2 weeks with no information i wanted. I reviewed them on Google and shared my experience, then they contacted me and apologized, even asked my complaint # to see my case and make a refund. I sent them the number/code they were looking for, but they did not contact me back! I waited for almost 4 weeks and when I was trying to make a call, they wanted me to make a payment again, when I have 104 minutes, which is equivalent to $30. This is the worst experience, I uninstalled the app and shifted to BOSS Rev. Shame on Rebtels, Loosers!

Hi Team, i am from India and I have come in spain due to some official work for 2 year. I was using rebtel because it was providing the service at cheap rate awit good quality but recently you have increased the call charges to India so I am no longer using the servic. With me there are around 20 more people who have
stooped the using the Rebtel because it has increased the rate. Now we all are using some other VOIP service which is more cheaper.
But Since Rebtel provide a good service . we want to be part of Rebtel only so Please check if you can reduce the call rate again. We will be thankful to you.

A few years ago I connected with Rebtel for the first time - and at first the service, prices and prompt replies to my questions made a lasting good impression: I needed an cross platform app that enabled cheap international calls using smart-phone and PC.
For that reason I established a balance, intended principally to enable international calls from my PC.

Very suddenly the PC call app was discontinued unilaterally by Rebtel. I inquired as soon as I found out (in 2013 in believe) and I was informed that reinstating a pc app "is in the road-map".

Now we are in 2015 - and it seems that the "Road-map" is lost, and I requested reimbursement of my Rebtel balance and to my admonishment received a negative reply!
The excuse was that PayPal does not allow a refund after more than 90 days!
All I know is that paid Rebtel case for a specific service, the service I paid for was terminated ‘till an as yet unspecified date, and Rebtel refuse to reimburse me?
The excuse that Paypal do not allow refund after more than 90 days is a lame excuse because PayPal certainly allows issuing a new payment (simply do not call it a refund..) - in this case from Rebtel to me for the unused balance of the account.

What began as a very positive service - became something totally different..

Once they get your money, that's it..... call will not connect ... there will be false ring to the caller all sort of problems and no customer support

I have been using rebtel since 2013. It used to be great. Not anymore. I always have difficulty connecting. What's the point of using a telecom company if it fails to connect you 90 percent of the time?
I have now made a decision to look for an alternate company in case rebtel doesn't connect me. I haven't yet decided to totally abandoned Rebtel, not yet.

I used a Rebtel number in Dec, and reached to total strangers. I tried 3 times and got the same results, was charged for these malfunctioned phone calls. I promptly cancelled my Rebtel account, which still had $24 credit left.

My account had two Master Cards in it – one of them was closed/cancelled, one was active/current. Rebtel began charging the current/active card in March, when I made the switch. However, my $24 credit was refunded to my already cancelled credit card, which I had no access to it.

I went back & force with numerous Rebtel reps, they all repeated the same thing – too bad, we can’t help you, you got to work with your “bank,” as shown below:

We love to assist your concerned but it's already beyond our control the best thing you can do is to contact your bank to resolve this matter.

If you are canceling a Rebtel account, make sure use up all credit – because, if you have multiple credit cards loaded in your account, you have no guarantee they will refund your credit to your most current card. Nobody at Rebtel bothers to check which card is the most recently used – if your refund was sent to your closed/cancelled credit card, all you will get is, “too bad! Good luck with your ‘bank’!!!” with their friendly customer reps. Ugh!

I was so tired of shelling out a bomb on me and my girlfriend’s calls that we decided to try a service provider who could give us the best package for daily calls running into hours! Rebtel has a good service and can be relied upon. We have been using this for over 3 months now and frankly speaking, this is much better than any application that we have used earlier. Try this one, if your gf is happy, you won’t be disappointed either!

I joined Rebtel last year with purpose to call my mom back home in Rwanda, but only what rebtel did is to load my money with no service. Just when starts ringing, start taking the credits. When I tried to find to reach customer support, I never find any support contact. I wish you can improve service you provide
