I am the last one to complain, and i was amazed at how easy it was to take out the policy, it seems that until they have your money they are the most pleasent company to deal with
BUT
I made a claim with my gadget buddy for my mac book, I sent it first class recorded mail so have proof it arrived the following day.
I similarly as requested sent the form also first class recorded to the second address I was given.
2 months later, after hearing nothing from them I called up and was promised it will be sorted within the week as it has been marked as VIP.
2 weeks later after hearing again nothing (they promised they will keep me updated throughout the week) I called again to find out they still had done nothing. The blamed it on the fact that the email was not received by the repair team to repair it they apologized sincerely and offered me a measly £10 as an apology, to me this was a joke.
A week later I received the laptop now closing on three months, but the repair team forgot to include the charger. After finally getting a charger another week later they had sent me the wrong one.
I again had to phone up and chase up where my charger was, again an apology and a charger a week later. This was over 3 months later; I had no access to my files for over three months and was falling behind on my university course.
I found the company very apologetic but never actually came through with results
After finally receiving my laptop, my charger I started to use my laptop only to realize the computer was running very slow and there is something loose and rattling in side

I do not understand what sort of excuse they are calling a company,
The service was diabolical, I may be a one off but I would seriously consider other options if I was looking again

I’m not very happy as I’ve not received my policy documents which I’ve requested them to re send via email as I didn’t receive them when I took the policy out on the 15 feb and it’s now 30th April. I tried to call them but they are not excepting calls due to Covid 19 as they have limited staff which I understand but they should reply to my email.

i am very unhappy with the service i got as i wanted to pay by monthly installments but it went out all in one and i baught loss cover but when the documents came through it did not have loss cover i would like you to get in touch asap

Took 10 days to respond to an email sent on 17th of March, very difficult to get through by phone, switch board options not very helpful, poor level of cover.

I chose a policy including loss and pay monthly whereas the policy documents mygadgetbuddy sent me show premium set to annual with no loss. In order to get that corrected I had to call city main 3 times on a premium rate number each time they said they have got the policy set for monthly payments with loss included in it and also promised me to email me the proper policy documents which I still haven't received. I have given them end of this week should I not receive my right documents by then I will have no option other than to cancel the policy. As if they are so amateur in issuing the documents what they will do if I will make a claim.

I telephoned to see if I could change my policy from one phone to another; I had already used your web site to obtain a quote.
He cancelled my existing direct debit; however as he could not find my phone, Google Pixel XL on his list was unable to assist in setting up a new policy.
I informed him I would use the web site as it was listed there.
The adviser, though pleasant, did not demonstrate that he was interested and rushed to conclude the call, cutting me off at one stage when I started to say something to him.
Never spoken to one of your advisers directly before; experience didn't encourage me to do so again.

I have three iphones insured by my gadget buddy,my request is to have the imei number of each phone printed on the specific agreement & certificate of insurance to avoid future issues with confusion to which phone is with which policy although the contracts are identical, the iphones are not & they are not used by the same person, Please..

I wouldn't even give one star, to be honest. I bought travel insurance on 14th March, nowhere on their website or the fine print did they mention the coronavirus, which is why I chose them as that to me meant that I'd be covered.
However, I just rang them only to be told, by an incredibly patronising, condescending and rude operator, that since I bought the policy after 13th March, this wouldn't cover caims that were directly or indirectly caused by the coronavirus. Absolutely appalling.
Thankfully I was within the 14 days purchase period and I could cancel the policy and have my money back.

By not overcharging loyal customers my quote was up £12 on last year. So I cancelled and took out a new policy and saved £10. You do the maths . Pure greed

I paid 19.49 for zero exess travel ins and phoned your company and said they would resend the policy and i still got same policy with £149 excess
