We had the great experience of being transported by a red RouteMaster Bus (from 1966) from townhall to Kenwood House and back, showing the sights of North London to the guests at our son’s wedding recently. We were well looked after by Jennie and her team, and could relax knowing they knew what they were doing. Preordered champagne and water, that was served on the bus, chilled and just perfect. Additionally, they handled glasses, tidying up after etc, which is a very good service on a day like that. All in all, we are sure they are the best bus hire company out there!

We booked a bus to take us to and from an NFL game at Wembley. Jennie was very helpful, responsive, and nice throughout the entire process and the day of the event. The day went seamlessly - they arrived early for the pick-up and were there on time to pick-us up. Jennie and the driver were very patient with a lot of very enthusiastic NFL fans on the way there and back. It was a lot of fund having the double decker bus for the event. I would highly recommend this company.

All 3 hosts on the bus (including the guide Nigel) were so helpful and accommodating. They could not do enough for us, were there if we needed anything and offered us drinks when we needed them. They even let us stop for a toilet break! Thank you for a great tour.

Absolutely brilliant company, couldn't recommend them enough, I hired a bus for my wedding party to get from the reg office to the reception, it arrived on time, the guest loved it and said how convenient and such a great idea it was, all my guest got to the reception on time and all together, thank you again :) And not to mention I called them 5 days before my wedding and they still accommodated me :)

From our initial enquiry and then throughout the whole booking process, through to the actual day of our wedding, Jennie and the team at RouteMaster were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We hired a RouteMaster bus to transport our wedding party from the Old Marylebone Town Hall to our wedding reception at a London restaurant. Nothing has seemed too much trouble, communications were ongoing throughout and all queries were answered promptly. The bus arrived on time, was clean and tidy and use of the sound system was a definite bonus along with being served champagne throughout the journey!! Both Jennie and the Driver were very friendly and accommodating throughout the journey - ensuring that we incorporated a scenic stop off for some wedding pics along the way! Thank you to RouteMaster!

Jennie and her team provided a really great service. From booking through to the day of our event Jennie was friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. I was provided with all the information I needed, including a nice reminder email the day before the event to confirm everything was all good. The bus itself was exactly as described, authentic, clean inside and speakers were provided. The journey was great, our team had a blast and so did I. Would happily rebook and recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to travel to an event, etc. Thanks Jennie!

We had a pleasure to hire a RouteMaster Hire Bus during our wedding on Saturday 15th December in London. The bus picked us up from the agreed destination on time and waited for us to take photos and hand out the Prosecco bottles. Jenny was very accommodating and allowed us to plan ourselves the scenic route of London before hand, and on a day her husband who was a driver was very helpful and change the route on my request. All my guests were very happy and satisfied with the route and we had loads of fun on board. we played our favourite music, drunk Prosecco and have loads of fun even befor the whole reception started. Thank you The RouteMasterHire for a great service and loads of fun on board! Paulina x

We hired a vintage routemaster in June 2017 to transport our wedding guests between our ceremony and reception venues in central London. Jennie was very helpful throughout, making the whole process easy. On the day itself the bus arrived punctually with our custom destination blind, guests were handed sparkling wine as they boarded, and we arrived at the reception venue with the absolute minimum of fuss. Our guests commented on how much fun they thought the whole experience was. In the words of one 6 year old it was, "...even better than the park and ride!"

From booking through to the final goodbye I couldn’t have been happier with how Jennie handled my enquiry for my 4 year olds birthday surprise. Everything I asked for was done and we were delighted to drive through the bus station. The teddy was wonderful and everyone enjoyed our drive around the town with the music we asked for playing so we could sing along. Since the Birthday I’ve been asked everyday for the same next year ! Very happy customers

The service level provided was exceptional, Jennie — with her efficient ease — made the booking and pre-event planning process simple and painless, this meant that all arrangements went like clockwork during the event. Gary gave a fantastic and hilarious guided tour during the journey with just the right mix of humour interwoven with facts and stats. Chris planned and timed the journey to perfection and drove with calm professionalism through London's rush hour! The vehicle was pristine - all in all, a pleasure!

Used this company for my wedding in early December 2016 and they were flawless. Two buses waiting exactly when and where we'd asked them to be and the guys on board the buses made our wedding guests really welcome. Guests were on board and on the move really quickly. What better way to entertain the guests on my 60th Birthday (including family from Australia, in-laws from Germany, and friends from all around England), than to take them on a trip on a real Routemaster bus. Our 2-hour journey took us from home in Harpenden, past some familiar/significant places along the way, through St Albans and then on to my business at GNBC in Hatfield, finishing at the carpark of Hatfield House for a tour of the House and grounds. Driver Geoff and hostess Jennie made us feel very welcome. The bus itself was immaculate and attracted lots of admiration and attention as we ambled past. We all sat upstairs with our prosecco and enjoyed waving and seeing reactions from the passers-by down below, especially as we had asked to do a few loops in the Harpenden High Street and in Hatfield "just for fun". It was a very memorable part of my 60th birthday celebrations. Thanks Routemaster team! :)

We hired a classic Route Master bus for our Wedding on April 7th to take our guests from our reception venue to the ceremony and back again. Communications from the start was superb with frequent but not over top contact. On the day the bus arrived well in advance of our scheduled planned departure time and looked absolutely stunning. It was definitely a talking point with the guests and provided a convenient way to get everyone to travel and mingle with each other. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and book them again – the bus blind is a great keep sake to remind us of the day.
