Salon Express

Had my hair done at Salon Express Cockburn last week by the amazing Natalie. She was friendly, professional and did an excellent job on my cut and colour. Loved the end result. Would highly recommend Natalie and would definitely go back and request for her.

I had my first visit to this store today and was extremely happy with service from the moment I walked in. A huge thanks to Dani with helping choose a new color and style that I love. Walked in with an old mop on my head and walked out feeling like a million dollars.

Went into Salon Express to get my 15 year old daughters hair cut and was asked by a member of staff if I minded that she check her hair for head lice first. Yes, I do mind, I didn't come here for a head lice check, I came here to get her hair cut. I was then informed that if I did not consent to this she couldn't get her hair cut as this is the salons policy. What the heck!!!!! I thought this was completely ridiculous and told them so. I have never had a problem with this at any other salon, ever. I didn't agree to this and was told they would not be able to cut her hair. Off we went to another salon, where she had her hair cut without any problems and without a head lice check!. As a paying customer surely it is my choice to have a head-lice check? Can you imagine how embarrassing this would be if a child actually did have head lice and was told so front of a roomful of customers? I can't imagine other parents putting up with this either. Salon Express you have a ridiculous policy and I will not be returning, you just lost yourself a paying customer who will not be returning and probably many more to come.

Turned up 8.30am Monday 15/4/19 to get my hair done. Salon opens at 9 am. Was happy to wait till it was open as i had a 10.30 am appointment in Midland. At 8.45 am my hairdresser walks over to tell me she wont be able to cut my hair till 9.20 am. She had apparently had someone turn up at 8.30 am and had "booked" them in?? As its a first come first served salon and there are NO bookings EVER! i asked her how can this be? She replied that they got here first. By the way this customer wasn't even there? As i also had a terrible dye job 4 weeks previously (not the same stylist) i will not be going back. I have been going to this salon for years but its slowly going downhill. I tried Garden City and MUCH prefer it. Will use them from now on.

So thankful for Robbin at Mirrabooka, WA Salon Express who did layers on my hair. Very light hands and did extremely well! As well as Ashvin who did my mum's short hair. Tipped them both! Would come back to them both for sure!

Went here first time (Joondalup Salon) as I was not able to get in my regular hairdresser. Went for the $27.50 style cut. I have short hair and wanted it layered and shaped. Was told I had to pay an extra $10 on top of price as they measured the amount to be cut was over the length limit, What??. Didn't understand as I thought a style cut is a style cut. I had to ask the hairdresser to reshape my hair and trim the layers. Wasn't gonna pay extra for a few inches more, so had to make do with what I ended up with. Won't be back here in a hurry, misleading and not professional. Waiting for my hair to grow back again & will be seeking other hairdressers who do what the say & don't add these extra costs on top of the price specified.

I went in to salon express Springfield for a cut and colour my hair is long but not extra long I paid $168.50 with my hair wet. As I refused to pay the $202 dollars I was quoted to include a hair dry The price I expected to pay is what is on their website for long hair colour which is $80, but I ended up being charged an extra $65 dollars because my hair was thick and long. Don’t waste your time here, go book a nicer salon with better products and staff. You virtually pay the same price.

Changed my hair for the first time in 2 years from red to brown on Weds.Big change. Found all the team in Innaloo brilliant! Really professional and understanding of what I wanted. They did a fab job! They cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Very happy

I attended Salon Express at Springfield recently and was so pleasantly surprised by the service, cut and colour I recieved by the team. The walk in style appointments are so convenient and you don't need to book months in advance like other salons.
The appointment was quick, professional and the cut and colour I received rivaled those of a high end salon that I used to attend.
The massage chairs are heaven as you get your head massaged and washed and I left with a lovely blow wave style and the products they use left my hair feeling revived and full.

I will definitely be back and be referring all my friends here.

This was the 2nd time I've been to salon express at Springfield. The first time was lovely but I cried after leaving this time.
The hairdresser made me feel awful about the colour of my hair in what felt like her trying to get a further sale. She then pressured me into buying products to help "fix" it with the assurance that I would get a discount because of the hair cut. On checking out and doing a mental calculation though, I'm sure she charged me more than she should have but she didn't give me an itemized receipt. I was already feeling too upset to think about asking her to clarify prices.
I felt like she rushed my hair cut (which is the last thing you want after waiting 45 minutes!) and when i got home i realized how bad the cut was and burst into tears about the whole event.
The whole experience was awful and i will not be returning.

Although Salon Express at Springfield in QLD is a walk-in no appointments necessary salon, I gave 24 hours notice that I wished to have a up-style completed for an event. I was advised that this would be no problem, given costs and an idea of what they would do. Upon arrival all greeting staff and hairdressers were fantastic and friendly and got me through straight away. There was a 10 minute delay to commence my up-style and then was handed over to a young hairdresser and was informed she'd be my hairdresser and they'd blow-dry, straighten and then set my hair in rollers to achieve a curl, then they would 'braid' the front and twist it around. Sounded great and I agreed to this verbally. 20 minutes in whilst my hair was being blow-dried, the manager came out of the office area barking orders and yelling at 2 hairdressers on the floor - one doing my hair and one attending to another lady in the chair receiving a style cut. It was to do with they were taking too long and people were lining up and more needed to be done to push more people through. Completely inappropriate and rude of her! My hairdresser then stopped my hair and went to the front counter for 10 minutes to attend to waiting customers and process more payments. It was simply the managers idea of push push push more money through and grind her staff to the floor and treat current customers poorly. When the lady doing my hair came back, she did apologise, but obviously it wasn't her fault. Then all of sudden she went off again, only for me to have another hair dresser come along and play around with my hair. They did blow dry and straighten my hair, but I did not have rollers put in to properly curl my hair, they only used heat to loosely create curls with a brush. I said I wasn't overly happy and really preferred it to be up completely and despite constantly being pushed and told - "you have beautiful hair, so show it off" they weren't listening to my instructions of "I want it up". Then because I was indecisive, I get told to "hurry up and tell me what you want because I'm being pushed to get you out of here". The day before, I get told 1 hour wasn't enough time and I needed to leave more time, on this day I gave them 2 hours and after 50 minutes (with at least 15 minutes of just sitting there waiting) I was being told I need to get out! I eventually did get an 'upstyle' and paid $120, but pitiful service and horrible management interactions with her staff.

I hadn't been to salon express Mirrabooka before until last weekend. My hair was level with my bust and I asked for a cut just below my shoulders. The man cutting my hair asked if I'd like layers, at first I said no but then I said he could put VERY small ones in, with emphasis on the small. To begin with he didn't even offer to wash my hair which was dirty as the cut was spontaneous, he then couldn't even part my hair in the middle. because I left with my hair wet, I couldn't really see how bad the layers were as my hair is black. Once I got home, washed and dried it, I instantly cried because the layers were shocking. Half my hair was long and the other half was short. I called and they didn't even offer to fix it, they only offered a free treatment. Horrible service.

I’ve been a customer for over 3 years now and I’m never disappointed. It’s always easy to get an appointment, the staff are so helpful and listen carefully to what you want and always work out the best price for me. I’ve never come out disappointed, only always feeling like a million bucks!

I visit the Belmont salon express store monthly to have a colour, treatment, blow wave & anytime I have an event I rush in for a quick style - team work- makes the dream work & I leave the salon 10/10 feeling great :) every employee who offers their hairdressing service has won my vote! Your hairdresser May differ each time you visit the salon but your details are saved on a computer - all their hairdressing techniques are sync & very Reasonably priced.
I recommend using their products instore- it’s taken 1.5 years to change my jet black to blonde & their products have kept my hair silky & protected.
