If you buy Inmarsat satellite phone through Satellite Phone Store, you pay for the service monthly. However, once the contract is up after allotted amount of time, your ROLL OVER MINUTES WILL NOT CONTINUE UNLESS YOU CONTINUE THE MONTHLY SERVICE OR PLACE YOUR PHONE ON STANDBY at about $20 per month which is significantly less. BEWARE!!!!!

I love my phone and the service you provide. I am able to find my products and submit my order and payment but it takes several days before the prepaid card says it is activated on my account. Why isn't that part more automated and seamless? I asked the chat about buying a larger/longer prepaid card and if my rollover minutes would still be available and their answer was that there were no rollover minutes and if there was, I would lose them. This conversation dissuaded me from purchasing the other card. I also wish there was a tether option to the INMARSAT 2 phone so I could use my computer in an emergency.

I had a great experience with the staff at the store that shipped the phone to me. I received a call the days after I ordered the phone to make sure it was the right phone for my trip. It arrived a day earlier than I had expected and was exactly as advertised. I wouldn't buy this phone because it was difficult to get service due to the fact that it is connected to only one fixed satellite on the sky and was difficult to attain service. The plans are obviously very expensive in this market as well. Otherwise, the transaction part was outstanding.

Providing a per minute airtime plan would be preferable than having to select the cheapest one for $55. I only plan on using the phone for emergencies so a "no minutes" plan would make it even better.

Everyone at the satellite phone store was extremely helpful and friendly they guided me in the right direction for the products that would suit me the best everything was set up for me shipped it to me in a couple days and everything was up and running perfectly I love it thank you again for everything Scott

The salesman (my salesperson was Jason) was outstanding during the purchase process. He was very patient and took lots of time answering my questions and explaining how a satellite phone works. I was looking at other websites too, but kept coming back to the Satellite Phone Store because of how they handled the purchase process. If you are in the market for a satellite phone, I highly recommend these folks.

Do not trust these people! They sold incomplete equipment with no firewall. Then cleaned $36000 out of my bank account BEFORE telling us the unit was not optimized. All subsequent contact has been dismissed or ignored. They have made no effort whatsoever to resolve this, other than to demand $8400 more! For 5 short phone calls, a few dozen emails and two web queries that couldn't load, this is in no way reasonable!

In messaging Satellite Sue via messaging on your site, I asked some questions about my previous quote I received, she indicated that it was expired, so I asked about sending me a new quote, which to my surprise was 200% higher, I told her I would have to shop around with other vendors as I could not see paying 3 times upfront. she mentioned something about amazon and their price. but that was her last message. I then asked her about if i bought a used unit what my costs would have been to activate it.. she never responded. So immediately started looking around your website and ON MY OWN with NO HELP FROM ANYONE I found my price i was looking for, so i sent her another message, saying I'm on your page and just added the IsatPhone 2 phone $ free , 100 minute plan $89.95, usa number $10 , roll over minutes $10 , damage insurance $10 = total $169.95 is that my total with with a new phone? please send me a new quote. She never replied, how sad that with so many vendors available and Covid making companies shut down, your sales people are not going the extra mile to just simply helping customers that need help in selecting a product you sell. Oh and by the way, as i type this message (1049 pm pacific time) Satellite Sue is still showing ONLINE on the messaging app on your website.
