I want to say how impressed I am by the service provided by Panks Pumps and in particular Tom Selby (Business Development Manager) and one of their extremely capable installers by the name of Nathan.

Old Newton Cricket Club are a relatively new Club who have been in existence for five years. We have played on an artificial strip since our formation but two years ago we took the bold step to create a grass square. We invested quite a bit on that work but sadly have been unable to play on it due to irrigation problems. We are 200m away from our Sports and Social Club and had no easy way to get a hosepipe to the square with any kind of pressure. We messed around with a bowser for a while but found it impractical - our square has therefore been fallow since it''s creation.

This year we decided to make a further investment and get a permanent water supply to the square. We looked at various methods of doing this but ultimately approached Panks Pumps in Ipswich to see what our options were. At this point Tom Selby came to see us and his advice, approach and sense of humour have helped us immensely to now realise our goals.

Tom designed a cost effective system for us to provide water to the square via a pump and a holding tank situated near our Club House. One of our stipulations was that we wanted to fill the holding tank in the wee small hours via a timed valve so as not to affect the water pressure in the Club House. Tom accommodated our request and was able to initiate the work very quickly once we''d decided that we wanted to go ahead.

Nathan installed the tank, pump and the underground pipework to the square as well as finishing off some of the plumbing pipework within the Club House. All of the work Nathan undertook was to an extremely high standard and the installation looks absolutely fantastic. We have virtually no scarring above ground even though it''s only been a week since we installed the pipework.

Yesterday we finished the commissioning of the system and undertook a test - the pressure at the square is fantastic and will meet all of our watering needs.

I am absolutely delighted with the results and can''t thank Tom and Nathan enough for their efforts.

When both our pumps failed in our private pumping station, serving 5 homes, Sharon swiftly sorted out 2 new pumps for us and helped us find someone local to install, and at a great price.

I needed a pump seal for a pump not supplied by Panks. I had tried many suppliers, but the assistance provided by Oliver and Ollie was first class. They found one and stayed after closing so I could get my machine running again. I cannot rate them highly enough for their advice and commitment to getting my machine working again.

Very professional service, quick, the engineer knew exactly what he was doing, and offered further maintenance advice. Will definitely use again.
