I was unable to exercise my membership right to a 10% discount. At the time I made a request for the discount to follow which was ignored.

I ordered 5 books from the RA sale and unfortunately, it was, if I recall correctly, the Friday before the Covid 19 'Lock-down' on the Monday so could not be processed. However, the RA staff were very helpful and I have now received the books (which are excellent value for money). I was particularly moved by the accompanying little hand written notecard which said 'Thank You! RA x' - very lovely gesture by the RA staff.

My parcel simply didn’t arrive, and it was my anniversary gift so I had to travel across London after work while nine months pregnant to go to the Royal Academy shop and rebuy it. Overall, incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

I love my print and the price and it was easy to order this from the US and have it shipped to me minus VAT>

I was informed immediately that delivery of my purchase would be delayed (by COVID-19 lockdown) and offered the opportunity to cancel or wait. I decided to wait and had a lovely surprise when it turned up.

We absolutely loved Grayson's Art Club, so when I spotted Red Alan, his paper napkin manifestos and Jacky Klein's book on Grayson I had to have them. Red Alan is standing on my sideboard, a lovely felt reminder of how inclusive Art can be. The book gave us lots more insight and background on Grayson Perry's work and the person behind the work - brilliant service from the shop - thank you.

My problem is that I buy an annual subscription to the RA Magazine - I find RA membership very poor value, as I live in Cheltenham, so I am rarely at a London show - and you do not offer a reduced 'Country' membership, nor do you reward length of membership. (In addition, you only offer £1 off for Art Fund cards! What meanies.) But the real issue here is that, when my annual subscription to the RA mag is up, you DO NOT REMIND ME, so I have to start again each year. Nor do you seem to be able to set up a renewable DDM. It is utterly mad and infuriating. You stand alone as an organisation that cares so little for retention!

I ordered the softback 'Matisse in the Studio' (having seen the exhibition in September 2017), a beautiful catalogue, well illustrated and insightfully written. It arrived earlier than expected, carefully packaged and in immaculate condition. Overall, a very high standard of service. The RA Online Shop has always been reliable.

Postage too high for a small parcel £5.95, especially when the pack of cards cost £8.95.

I was disappointed that as my purchase was a gift, I could find no way of sending it as one. The RHS and even Amazon lets the giver show that a gift is a gift. Maybe I didn't find the right 'gifting' bit on the site, but I think it would be a very good addition.
