Over the years this is the third time we’ve used Shurgard - staff are always friendly and helpful plus prices reasonable compared to competitors (can’t argue with the £1 first month rental deal!). Ok so you have to purchase one of their locks but it’s yours to keep for future use (or sell on ebay!). They’re also happy for you to use your own insurance (which often comes free with household insurance) and so a big saving on the otherwise compulsory product.

as a company, it is silly to have signs up saying £1 for the first month - and then have customers walk in and pay over £200. Grow up

Dee was very helpful and knowledgeable, we would have booked a unit far too big had we not had advice from her, First month storage for only £1!! And some great deals on boxes

I went to the Herne Hill Shurgard and was given all the information I needed on my first visit (including a viewing of the space), while on the second visit all the paperwork was processed efficiently. Both staff members who dealt with me were friendly, helpful and polite.

The reception manager messed up my order, trying to sell the deal - which three times more expensive, than the one I was sure - was the best for me with promotion. Finally, when I pushed and proved I was right, she became angry, after I left, she was sending me private messages saying computer made an error - and that I have to pay different amount. Annoyingly around 10-15 times. I asked her manager to contact me, as I had my contract. But nobody got in touch.

Very friendly team at Woolwich Shurgard was attended by Chad who was very professional and showed me how to use the system and unit well. The team are very bubbly and welcoming.

I was hoping to get 24 hour access but unfortunately limited from 6am till 11pm.
However the gentleman who was dealing with me was very helpful. I have no complaints about his service. It would be good if you extended the access hours.

Shutgard storage unit in Ruislip is perfectly clean, always enough parking, easy access, trolleys in working order, the most important access 6am - 11pm Mon - Sun
