I am a new customer unfamiliar with Simply Dresses refund policy of sending back items within 7 days of receipt. I asked Simply Dresses for an exchange, not even a refund and they denied my request. I will not be purchasing from them again.

We loved the dress we got for my daughter. However when we ordered the wrong size and had to return it to get the EXACT same dress there was not enough time for the "exchange". They would not let me pay for second day air out of my own pocket. Instead I had to pay the 10% restocking fee to return it when the same day I ordered the exact dress different size second day air. I really felt jipped having got the exact dress (that was beautiful) but having he hassle we got

I ordered a dress for my niece who needed one for a formal. The style was exactly what she wanted, dress came in 2 days as expected and was exactly as pictured except the detail was even prettier in person. We assumed we'd have to have alterations done, but the straps on the dress were adjustable so no alterations needed! My niece was very happy!

I have bought from this site several time, I really like their dresses and have never had an issue getting it shipped to me internationally. However, I just made a purchase recently and received an email that I needed to verify my information by sending a copy of certain information from my credit card statement. I'm sorry but no for all the following reasons: - This is something you have never asked for before. If you have changed your policy, you need to state this before the purchase and be transparent so the customer can have a choice because this is an inconvenience to say the least. - Who asks for a copy of a credit card statement even if I blur out all the rest of the information you are not asking for. I buy dresses from you. You are not doing my tax returns. You want to verify my information, find a better way that doesn't make me feel more suspicious of you than you are of me. - Why do you assume everyone will just have a credit card statement handy just in case. If you have a bank abroad, you might not have all the required information in one place or even in English. I will certainly not be running to the bank for this just for this order. You need to have alternative means of verifying unless you are fine with losing your international customers. This experience was honestly very disappointing. I canceled my order because I won't deal with this kind of service.

This company changes the return policy on their website to suit their needs. It has changed twice since I ordered my dress. They would not take my damaged dress back because I did not ship it within 5 DAYS!! What kind of return policy is that? Even though I sent them photos 2 days after receiving it.

I ordered a dress for my niece's prom, but unfortunately i ordered the wrong one. i travel for work, so when i tried to exchange it for the right one, they told me it was too late. has original tags on it and all never worn or touched and they refuse to exchange it. I was not even asking for my money back, which you would think they would be more than happy to do. I ordered last year from here and was extremely happy with everything. You would think they would take care of returning customers, but they dont. Will never order from this place again.

I liked the huge selection of dresses at reasonable prices. The sizing was very different compared to my normal size in many other brands. I typically wear a small or size 2/4, but when I tried my dress on, I couldn't even get it past my waist. I also found the return process to be aggravating. There were several steps, things I needed to print out to return with my dress, as well as ridiculous prices for a return label ($8) and a "rehandling fee" of almost $6. I'm extremely disappounted with the money I lost on this dress, and will most likely not be purchasing from the site again.

They have a terrible return policy. Bought a dress that was store credit only for returns. Tried to return it within the ridiculous time frame but they said ineligible. By the time I got a chance to call them as I work long hours they would not help me and did not seem to care. There are much better sites out there.

I took a chance on this website knowing I may get a Chinese knock-off....and sure enough I did. The fit didn't match what was shown on the website; the fabric is cheap and very thin as well. They overprice their dresses to make them look high quality and I can only return the dress for store credit (which I don't even want to use). Please please do your research and avoid the hassle of getting something that wasn't advertised. I recommend websites like Lulus or even your local prom store for gorgeous dresses.

Daughter purchased dress. Did not fit and tried to return. Due to COVID-19, they were closed and could not be reached. Once they returned, for business, they said it was past their return time. VERY disappointed in their response during this unique time.

This website needs to include a better size range for plus sized girls. Put in the measurements and it said no sixes found??!! Absolutely unacceptable caused a whole upset tears and really killed confidence. Will not recommend or buy from until they are more inclusive of ALL sizes.

I ordered a dress with rush shipping and it arrived on time. The dress itself ran small, despite the use of their provided sizing chart when ordering. Quality was nice. I would order from them again, but definitely size up to be more comfortable.

Beware that if you are not happy with your order you only have 7 days from the time your order arrived to return it. I did not know this policy and was 1 day late to request a return #. The dress looked like the picture but the material was different from what we expected it to be. Now we have to try and sell this online and probably take a hit on the price. Read all the restrictions and know what you are buying. Customer service will not budge.

While I didn't keep the dress from this company. It was beautiful and exactly as advertised just not flattering on me. I returned it within the 5 days and they paid for return shipping and gave me my full refund to my credit card within the 10 days listed in their policy. Everything was as advertised. I talked with customer service and they were pleasant and easy to work with.

7 day return - in fine print on the receipt! I wouldn't have even thought to check the receipt this soon because I've never heard of a 7 day return policy - and no extension while we all waited to hear if prom's were canceled. Disgusting policy!

Bought 2 pc dress for my daughter for Homecoming - dress arrived quickly, fit perfectly (Size 4) and was everything she wanted. The day of Homecoming was busy you know how it is hair, nails, makeup then photos, the dance and then off to dinner with friends. My daughters event started at 6 and went until 9. She got dressed about 5:30 for photos and I dropped her off at the dance around 6:30 by 7:45 she had called me to tell me that the elastic in her top broke and since the top had built in cups she had no bra on that unless she held her top she would be exposed. Since she did not want to leave the event I had to take her a sun dress so she could finish her evening - she felt so awkward going back in and then sitting at dinner with all her friends. When I contacted the Simply Dresses and advised them of the issue and sent them photos they offered me $15 so I could have the elastic fixed. Kind of a slap in the face considering I paid $178 for a dress that she did not even get to wear the whole evening and had on a little over 2 hours. I was not asking for my money back or a full refund I simply asked for the top to be replaced and instead get offered $15. I attached what the top is supposed to look like and what it looked like after the elastic in it broke.

I can't say enough good things about this site. If you're looking for a beautiful unique ball gown or party dress this is the place to look. Prices were awesome, the payment process is a breeze, and I swear I paid for regular shipping but it came in a matter of days. Dress was exactly as described, I actually thought it was more beautiful in person. I tell everyone about this site if they're looking for a dress!

Sizing and make off apparently don't understand bust size, rest of dress perfect but top cut short in bodice and under arms and across bust line even after going bigger than guide returned and still had same problem in 2nd dress of larger size.cute dresses however.

I ordered a final sale dress off of this site as a possible wedding dress. It was only $70 so I figured that if it fit well but I didn't want to wear it for the wedding that I could still wear it for something else since it is a blush pink (really nice color, true to website). I ordered up a size and it fit surprisingly well. I can't speak great thing of the quality, however. The lace is kind of a large 'print' so some of the seams catch the lace material at poor points so there are little holes. One of the 'hearts' of the sweetheart neckline is a bit flat compared to the other as well (just not symmetrical from left to right). Not super noticeable, but I saw it right away. I'm sure I'll still wear it for some type of event but would not recommend this company for something as important as a wedding dress or pageant dress where you want your gown to be perfect. For the money, it's great.
