I had told them over the phone that my money was expected to come in about 4 or 5 days late which they said was okay because it was in the 10 day grace period, yet they continued to phone me every day after and email me constantly (somewhat harassing manner) and even distracted me during my lectures.

Good student loan lender that helped me when no one else good. Tied me over until my next student loan came. They've helped me time and time and I have no issues with them. The one time I had an issue with a late fee issues when it was no fault of my own I couldn't pay back my loan they were very helpful and everything was sorted quickly and repaired. Heard from a few people that it would be nice if they offered a maximum amount of 400/500 but I I think 350 is sufficient amount. (but more is always better lol)

I have used Smart-pig twice and can honestly say it was one of the best services I have ever used. I have never used any type of pay/loan company before and I was very cautious and nervous about trying one, but, as a student-teacher money became a little bit of an issue. My school placement required me to drive an hour and a half round-trip and work full-time hours without payment, with bills on top my money seemed run out before my student loan payment was due. Smart-pig was able to lend me money to cover my petrol and living needs when I needed. The staff and the whole process was easy and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Easy one time set up, then you can use their services throughout the school year. Doesn't take long to get the money approved which is really handy in a tight spot, and the interest rates are extremely reasonable.

Apart from the multiple (at least 5 of each) messages and texts everyday leading up to the repayment date bordering on harassment, the service was quick and easy at a much needed time.

I really love that this company is for the student! I'm at university and as many students know the amount of money provided by the university is a generous amount however doesn't suffice 3-4 months. I really needed money to be able to eat and pay bills etc and this company was perfect! I think allowing the customer to pay back on their student finance payment day is brilliant! I love this service WOULD RECCOMEND TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE! :)

I was extremely pleased with the first loan i took out with Smart-Pig, although the repayment was quite high, as I was approved and received the money very quickly after I applied. What let the company down for me was earlier this month when I applied for a smaller, very short-term loan and was told I could not be accepted as I am not studying next year (my degree finishes in July) even though I am still a student currently and it would have been paid back the next week, plus so had proved my reliability by repaying in time the first time I took out a Smart-Pig loan! Very dissatisfied with that!

Great service unless your student finance is late and you go into your 10 day grace period. I informed them almost a week before explaining my payment would be a week late yet they still pestered me continuously several times a day for the 6 days I went into my grace period.

I would 100% recommend smart-pig loans. I've always been scared away from them due to nasty interest but their rate was amazing and was done so fast. Will definitely use again if required.

Expensive,
50% cap is nice but it's pointless when you are charging the same as Wonga

7/10 will only use in future for long term loans
