You purchase a $400 dollar pair off glasses. One Len doesn't fit right they want pictures and stuff just to say they don't see it. How could they it's don't on their face, this action causes a person to have to purchase another pair of glasses from a different company that gives better service.,,,

The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Literally. Wrong product received, somehow two different lens types in the same order. Was told, first to send photos as they didn't believe me, photos sent, advised someone would come back to me in 72 hours, which they didn't, was then told another 72 hours. Then they said I could either pay to send the lenses sent in error back from Dubai to Singapore registered post: then they would wait to receive them, and then dispatch new lenses, so something which they told me would take two days has taken three weeks so far and will likely take another two weeks including my having to pay to return the product sent in their error. So I'm still using my old lenses. Or they said they would give me 20% off a completely new order so I would have paid 180% of the original cost plus all the inconvenience. The worst customer service I have ever experienced by far, do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I ordered prescription eyeglasses from SmartBuyGlasses.com thinking I was saving money. However, you get what you pay for. I've had multiple issues during the order/return process. First, the item that was "in stock" took over 35 days to arrive. Second, the glasses arrived with a loose hinge, scratches on the frame, and glue spots left around the frame. Finally, when I tried to return the items, they don't give clear return instructions with customer service providing a different address that what you get when you enter the RMA# at USPS. So, it feels like even if you have an issue, they will make it very difficult to return/fix the problem. Stay away!

Smart buy glasses? You mean STUPID buy glasses! Order wasn't confirmed, communication is VERY laborious. Takes MONTHS from moment of ordering, to moment of getting your money back. HORRIBLE! Would NOT recommend!

Hello, This was my first time ordering eyeglasses online and needless to say, I was nervous especially because I use Progressive Lenses. The SmartBuyGlasses Team were professional, courteous and very helpful as they walked me through the process needed to complete my glasses. I appreciated the updates as well. The company also offers a 100 day return policy for the eyeglass frames/lenses, and so far, so good! —The Progressive Lenses seem very good and crystal clear. I also want to mention that SmartBuyGlasses is the only company that I could find that had my favorite Versace eyeglass frames which I was told had been discontinued a few years ago! I also must say that when my glasses arrived they were absolutely impeccable; and obviously packaged with great care! Seriously! In my opinion, I truly feel that they exceeded the hype. I'm definitely a satisfied customer and I highly recommend SmartBuyGlassesI Marie L. PS. They offered various options for the lenses, such as scratch protection, tinting, etc. The prices for frames and lenses are very reasonable too!

Really great quality glasses. I bought three pairs for myself and family. Everyone's happy with them. Really nicely packaged, no damage at all during shipping. Only gave four stars though because of poor communications from the company. Two of the pairs took a couple weeks to get shipped which I hadn't been expecting them to take that long. There wasn't any communication about their shipping taking longer. And I didn't even get a confirmation email after placing the order. I hadn't created an account with them during checkout but thankfully it was easy to create an account after ordering and see my previous order. Having an account is literally the only chance you'll have to verify your order, check the order status, or see updates. They sent one email once each item shipped and gave a tracking id, but that's the only communication they sent.

I purchased the Bottega Veneta in Transparent Grey and they are perfect. In fact they I liked them so much I purchased a second pair in Dark Grey. The items arrived quickly, the quality was great, and the price was really good! I would not hesitate purchasing from SmartBuyGlasses again in the future.

If you need to return a faulty product you still have to pay 10€ for it and make sure to have a printer, otherwise impossible.
So so many things that the company could improve.
On a positive note, delivery is fast.

After all i went and print the label, it's written there i can deliver it at any post office, in Denmark we have POSTNORD and they don't take this (before in an email the CS agent said DPD, I'm sure they don't know what they are talking about). So now i have a package i must sent back to you but where should I post it from? This is by far one of my worst experiences ever.

Started off great, they were able to make up prescription sunglasses for me, even though i have a astigmatism. Paid, waited patiently. Glasses arrived was very happy, until the Oakley sign feel out of its insert to which i noticed (FAKE) poor quality frames. I have another pair of Oakley's which are over ten years old and still have the Oakley sign inserted into them. Made the complaint was told to send them back, to which i asked how long this would take?, no answer just send back. So why must i send them back and wait with no glasses for them to then send me the genuine/real glasses. Why not send them the first time and why not say to a unhappy customer we (Smartbuysunglasses) will send the replacements first then ill send the defects back then. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

Very disappointed with the support that they provide and I wish that their return system was more smooth. They did not send me the Stella McCartney accessories that was included in the listing (spectacle case, dust bag etc.) which makes me wonder if the spectacles are fake. Unfortunately I did not buy via paypal so it seems like I don't have any security or backup now when the support isn't answering. 160 dollars for a pair of glasses that looked very different from the picture in the listing. Wow what a great purchase. Not. One should only buy from smartbuyglasses if they're 100% sure of what they'll get and for the love of god! MAKE THE PAYMENT THROUGH PAYPAL!

It's over a month that I ordered my glasses and I still haven't received them. The customer service is horrible and they keep giving me the run around! Now they say it could be another 3 weeks! These people are not organised nor do they care about their customers!

Please cancel my order an provide a full immediate refund. This is the second time you guys have done this to me what an inconvenience I tried to give you guys a second chance but once again you screwed up my order. You don't even have the customer service to initiate contact with me after you deceived me into purchasing an item twice now your website says you have in stock. I have to sit here wondering. My glasses took four full days to get out of Hong Kong. They're still not here weeks after I ordered. Can't comment on the quality of the product, only that the company's choice for shipping is probably not much better than mule. Customer service very snarky and keen on educating me. I don't want to be educated to your inferior business model. Going back to reliable Giarre—now that's an eyeglass company to admire.

Ordered my glasses over a month ago. They're made in China, not to my knowledge. The glasses were shipped in 7 days, but never made it to me. Somewhere in Hong Kong. After many emails, excuses, apologies, I finally asked for a refund. Very dissatisfied and will never order from them again.

Horrible customer service. Will never purchase anything from there again. Kept being told it was my fault, proved it wasn't and still was told I had to pay for shipping to return product and would not be refunded until product was received and error verified. Obviously that means once product received I would be told it that prescription was correct. Luckily my optometrist was kind enough to replace the lenses for free

... but not the fault of the company, unfortunately the glasses were misplaced by Royal Mail and never delivered due to the huge strain on these services due to Covid-19. SBG did eventually refund for this but it did take a bit of back and forth correspondence between us. But I want to fair and say it was an extremely difficult period for them so I really appreciate them resolving the issue despite the time taken. Would look to buy from them again in the future.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses to wear to my son's wedding. It took them over a month to get here. In the meantime, while waiting for the glasses to come, I bought the same ones somewhere else and cancelled my order in writing with SmartGlasses and DHL(the mail order service). I literally spent hours trying to get a return order slip. They disconnected me twice supposedly without a return call. It is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not buy glasses from this company. They are a sham!

I was able to replace my glasses which I'd driven over in a car. The optician didn't stock so I was so pleased to find the same ones on your site but at a cheaper rate than I'd bought them initally. Bonus. They arrived promptly with extra lenses and in a great case. Excellent service. Excellent products. Will def use you guys again.
