Smart DJ listed a product with an incorrect title and picture, deceptively making it out to be the new model of the product. I bought 6 items totaling about $2400, found out they are not what my receipt or their listing says, and now the want me to pay for shipping and a 20% restocking fee!

Worst company ever, DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS! You can find whatever you need cheaper elsewhere and you wont get scammed by these bullshiters.

I really enjoyed dealing with Ray.
I had to wait a very long time on the phone until a business person (Ray) picked up the phone. I'm talking more than 15- 20 minutes.
The purchase was great, great price.
The equiptment arrived in a week but my box was damaged and had a hole in it. After opening up the box I realized I was missing many peices and my dj stand was impossible to assemble.
I called up SmartDJ and I was told I had to call up the company the item came from - Odyssey , and take care of the situation myself.
This got me really mad, I was already upset my item arrived incomplete.
Now I am dealing with Odyssey and my fingers are crossed that they send me out all 4 pieces I need in a short amount of time.
SmartDj told me that if Odyssey couldn't help me, I would have to return this item and I would have to pay for the return mailing MYSELF!!!!!
I don't think I will ever deal with SmartDj again. Thanks but no thanks.

I ordered 2 ADJ led roataing beacons (one red, one blue) from SmartDJ.com through eBay. Their BuyItNow prices were approximately 35% to 40% less than the advertised prices of most stage lighting supply sites and 15% less than the next lowest price I could find - plus SmartDJ offered FREE SHIPPING on top of their discounted prices.

The beacons arrived 3 business days after ordering and were well packed.

Clearly, SmartDJ.com wants to make a name for themselves and they are doing so by offering high quality products at the very lowest prices. If they maintain this policy, I predict that SmartDJ.com will soon be THE number 1 provider of stage lighting and effects.

They've certainly made a repeat customer out of me!

Initially ordered a product from them on 1/28/2011, had not shipped by 2/3/2011, cancelled the order. It has been two weeks and have still not received a refund! They are blaming it on their accounting department. Watch out if you return an item!

I ordered a CD case from Smart DJ. The price was lower than any retail store with very fast shipping.PLUS FREE SHIPPING! I would definitively do business with Smart DJ again.

I ordered speaker mounts from Smart DJ for an installation. The website said they were "in stock". I placed the order, paying for priority shipping, expecting to see the package in 2-3 business days. About 3 days after I placed the order, I called to check on the shipment and I was told it hadn't shipped yet. Very odd for an order that was "in stock". I told "Smart"DJ that we needed to cancel the order and have them stop shipment, due to the fact that I had missed my deadline for the installation.

Long story short... I was told I would have to wait until the package arrived and then a return label would be generated. Two weeks after the order was placed, the package arrived and I'm then told that I have to pay for return shipment of the item that they got to me in an extremely late fashion.

What a horrible company that won't 1.) admit their own mistake as a company
and 2.) then penalize the customer for their websites misinformation ("in stock") and their lack of expediency getting the package to the customer. I am highly unimpressed.

And the worst part of it all, after I tried very hard to work with them to return their own merchandise, called three different times trying to speak to a manager or supervisor (and even waited to be called back by said manager three different times) and never once spoke to someone in charge. It's extremely insulting and the business practices of this company are highly questionable from where I stand. Seems amazing to me that a company will make a mistake and then make the customer pay for that mistake. Buyer beware and do NOT spend your money with this group. There a way too many other options of actual reputable companies that you should support.

i purchased an american dj flash shot strobe light from smart dj. by accident i ordered two. i contacted them through ebay to notify them that i wanted to remove one from the order and they were very understanding and took care of the mistake right away with no hassle. the delivery was very fast and the light was in perfect condition. i will definitely use smart dj in the future.

Best prices, Fast Shipping, Item was packed very well, shopped around online and SmartDJ.com had this light 20 bucks cheaper then anyone else. Would do business with in the future!

Ordered fog juice on Monday and it was on my doorstep on Friday! Very good service!
