Received my wallpaper in a timely manner. It looked exactly like the picture on the website. It is beautiful. I've only put up a couple of strips so far, but it hangs beautifully. I love it. I would definitely deal with Steve's company again. Polly

I was hesitant to order from one of these middle-man blinds companies like Steve's or American, especially after reading love/hate reviews elsewhere. But the price at Steve's was unbeatable at $278 to cover a five-window bay window in custom Levolor faux wood blinds. One of the blinds was complicated, involving a 3-on-1 headrail with custom widths for each segment.

The experience could not have been better! Steve's offered free shipping, even on the oversized (105") blind. They arrived in 10 days from the time of order, and since it was large freight, UPS called ahead to arrange delivery. The blinds were undamaged and perfect. Highly recommend Steve's/Levolor.

I had a "HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE" experience with STEVE'S BLINDS AND WALLPAPER!!!! BEWARE!!!

place my order of almost $400.00 on August 24th and received my order later than promised.... that was ok but they do not stand behind their guarantee! A lady helped me place my order over the internet and phone, she was very helpful..... but the NIGHTMARE began afterwards... :cry . They sent me the wrong size blinds, I called in and they said they would get back with me in a few hours! :sigh NOTHING FOR OVER 2 WEEKS! called again and spoke with a lady and she said she would have her supervisor look into it and call me back within 24 hours! NOTHING FOR OVER 2 MORE WEEKS!!!!! :( . CALLED today and spoke with CAL a supervisor.... He was VERY RUDE! SMART BUT ! AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! HE basically told me I was at fault and when I asked him why it has taken over a month and nobody has attempted to help me, he replied they sent me an E-mail over a month ago!!! :( ... while I told them I was at a rental home! I asked him what day I had placed my order and he replied August 24th then I said what is todays date? """ HE RUDELY REPLIES..... DO YOU NOT KNOW THE DATE???? ... :( ... I AM APPALLED AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AND THE UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OF THIS COMPANIES EMPLOYEES! ... I said sir.... I asked you to prove my point of how long it had been! "THEN HE RUDELY REPLIES: " SO YOU KNEW THE DATE AND YOU ASKED ME ANYWAYS???? .... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES TO DEAL WITH!!! PROBLEM IS STILL UNRESOLVED! " BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!! :cry the sad thing is .... the blinds were about $40. and my order was about $400.00

I ordered some blinds and est shipping was for 11/14. I send them an email around this date inquiring about the shipping. But no response for 2 weeks. I contacted them on 11/28 and at that point they told me there was some miscommunication between Steve's Blinds and manufacturer and they will expedite the order. But expedite for them meant 2 more weeks and shipping at a regular speed. If I wanted it sooner, I would have to pay more. I spoke with the supervisor Kahl S., who was extremely rude and behaved like they were doing me a favor by "expediting" the order. I am still waiting for a shipping date.

Ships in 3 days??? Bull pucky! I placed an order on 11/07. The order finally shipped on 11/14. The order arrived on 11/18, taking four days to travel 100 miles. When I unpackaged the blinds, the tracks were bent and unusable. Customer services was very nice and asked that I email the photos of the damage and they would order replacements. Two weeks later on 12/02 the replacements arrived. However instead of tracks, they had sent valances. Funny, the photos very clearly showed damaged tracks. It's now 12/7 and I'm no closer the getting blinds. They now say the manufacture isn't telling them anything. I wanted the blinds for Thanksgiving. I think I'll be lucky to get them by Easter.

This is the 2nd time we have purchased blinds from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper. The first time we went to their showroom in Sterling Heights. We just needed a blind for our son's room (dog destroyed the old blind). Their selection was great and the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable. We got the room darkening cellular shades with the cordless top down bottom feature. We were surprised by how affordable it was. Once we received the blind my husband installed it in about 15 minutes. Quality is great. So much so that we decided to do a bunch more windows. This time we called and asked for a blind specialist to come to our home with samples and to measure our windows. Sandi came out to our home within 2 days of calling - she brought all of her samples. She was great. We ordered 10 more blinds and within 10 days they were at our house and this time we had their installer put the blind up. They are marvelous. Having Sandi come to our home was so easy and there wasn't any extra charge to have her come. If you need blinds this is the place. Have them come to your home and make sure you ask for Sandi.

I ordered 5 blinds that took 9 days to arrive. The quality of the blinds are good but the color did not match what I ordered. I shipped a slat back to the factory and they said the color was a slight variance in stain lot numbers. Funny how the vallence matched the color I ordered, but the blinds were a differet color. The factory will not replace, they informed me that it just must suck to be me!!
I will order the next 9 blinds for my house from someone else.

We have purchased from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper on 3 different occasions. And each time his staff has been very knowledgeable, helpful and his prices cannot be beat. We have purchased both blinds and wallpaper and each time they arrive at our front door within a week of placing the order. On one occasion one of our blinds arrived damaged and they immediately replaced it with no questions ask. What a great company. Highly recommend them.

Steve's has a Collection of Blinds that are made and shipped by the Next Business Day or they give them to you free. It seemed too good to be true - Custom blinds made and shipped within 24 hours? But we were desperate. My husband's parents were coming to stay with us for 2 weeks and I kept putting off getting blinds for our new home. So i ordered a whole house full of blinds - I think 18 in total -kept my fingers crossed - and can you believe it...they made them to my exact specification with all the options I wanted and shipped them in 1 day - Wow! And they all fit perfect. The quality is just as good as Hunter Douglas blinds that we bought a while back but more fascinating is that we saved over $450 compared to what JC Penney's wanted to charge and they wouldn't ship them for 2 to 3 weeks. Steve, I do not know how you do it but keep up the good work, Thank you thank you thank you. Deb

I have order both blinds and wallpaper from Steves Blinds and Wallpaper on 5 different occassions over the past 4 years. Each time they always had the lowest price and their employees were always very nice and extremely knowledgeable. One time I had a damaged blind and without hesitation they shipped me out a new blind without any questions. What a great company. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

I've purchased wallpaper and blinds from Steve's over the past 2 years and am highly satisfied with all of it. It's very convenient to be able to order these types of products online with such ease. Their products and friendly and knowledgeable customer service people are great!

I had to spend a very frustrating extra 7 hours of my time fiddling with the installation which didn't work, speaking to customer service 3 times then then finally diagnosing and filing each of the brackets in two places that were provided for my steve's special cordless, room darkening shades. There is no way the original bracket would fit the railing installation. I called customer service multiple times and they were helpful by sending me more unusable brackets. Customer service also presumed that I must have done something wrong with the install though i measured precisely numerous times and I am a very mechanically oriented person. The brackets need to be re-engineered to work.

The shade and railing is very good quality but I won't shop here again unless they promise to do the installation of their shades for free.

First time I ordered a sample and paid for it, then few days later they sent me an email saying the font carry this wallpaper anymore. They waisted my time, I felt that the website was outdated. (they gave me my money back). However my second experience was bad as well, I ordered 6 wallpaper roles and they only sent three of them. Even though I paid for 6 roles. I just sent them an email and waiting for their response!!!

We just received our 3rd order of blinds from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper and they are great. We have had nothing but great things to say about this company. Their website is easy to use. We have been working with Jackie who is incredibly knowledgeable and she is such a nice person. We had a problem with one of blinds and Steve's immediately replaced it at no charge with no questions asked. We have ordered both Steve's Brand and levolor. to be honest with you the Steve's Brand is just as nice and less expensive. No other on-line company was able to come close to Steve's pricing. These guys are the best!

We recently decided to remodel our home that we have lived in for 15 years. We had no idea what to do with all of our windows. We wanted each room to have its own character. We call Steve’s Blinds and Wallpapers and scheduled a shop at home appointment. Sandi came out with samples and her tape measure. She is extremely knowledgeable about all different type of blinds as well as shutters and draperies. She must have spent 2 ½ hours going through each room with me – showing me samples – measuring, etc….We ended up purchasing plantation shutters, faux wood blinds and cellular shades. She also did a couple of cornices. The most amazing part is not only did she come out and provide all this information free of charge but Steve’s Blinds prices crushed Budget Blinds prices as well as we even got some prices from Home Depot – and Steve’s was still lower by about $750!! The installer that came out was extremely courteous, clean and proficient. We just love our new window treatments and I think the world of Steve’s Blinds and Sandi.

I've never seen a retailer with such different reviews - nothing but 1's and 5's! Nonetheless they had a good price so I sent an order in for two Levolor natural wood blinds with a quoted shipping date 10 days later.

A couple of days before the shipping date I realized in horror that I had reversed the height and width measurements! Steve's tried to stop the order being made at the Levolor factory, but it was too late. They were very friendly and communicative though the process, including calling a few times a day to update us on their progress.

When they finally had tried everything and confirmed that it couldn't be stopped they offered to have another set made at what must have been below cost price (as well as sending the original set of blinds of course).

I couldn't be happier with Steve's. Their customer service turned what could have been a horrible problem into a great experience.

The blinds look really good too!

I ordered from here once and had to make a return (with plenty of hassle and attitude) and shop another store. This blinds and wallpaper store is unacceptable in the way that they do business. The website is also annoying and cluttered. I wont shop here ever again.

Rip-off (Do not order from this company)
I called to cancel my order before the shipping day and the forced the shipping earlier to charge me 30% restocking fee even though I never received the order. And they didn't refund my 70% till I called them 3 weeks later. So if you forgot about the refund they will sleep on it!

Over the past 8 years we have moved 3 times and each time we have purchased all of our blinds from Steve's Blinds. We always shop the competition but Steve's blows them all away not only with their prices but their service is fantastic. Their folks are very knowledgeable about all kinds of blinds. We had a couple of small issues with a few of the blinds we received and Steve's just shipped us new blinds without any questions asked. I do not usually give out 5 star ratings but in this case Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper definitely has earned it.

We recently purchased wallpaper for the first time from Steve's, and shortly after the purchase we received and email saying our chosen pattern was not available. We were on a budget, with a deadline looming, and this could have been a disaster, but we instead were immediately offered a personal and heartfelt apology and a substantial discount, with free, fast shipping, on a superior product. It's been a long time since we've had such great customer service and we will be returning to Steve's in future and will be recommending them to all of our friends and associates.
