I hope this review helps you all make the right decision when selecting your soray foam contractor. We (my husband and I) have always heard of the drastic changes in energy efficiency when using spray foam (let's agree that's a given across the board) so what is the deciding factor? Price? Check the average density on that quote and you will find that it is no where near what Sunlight offers as a standard. Worth noting, Ira and Sunlight STILL bid lower than over half of the estimates we were presented. So, price shouldn't be the deciding factor. After tossing and turning over it all, I had a revelation! This entire time, Ira and Sunlight had been coaching me through it all. I took customer service for granted and once I realized that, it became so clear. This review is part 1 of 2 (the installation is April 8th, 2016) and so far, we are both excited for the day to come. Ira and Jeremy (Jeremy did the walk through and spent almost an hour teaching me all about what's really going on in your attic, not just spray foam) represent what America has forgotten, and that's customer service. I will check back in after the work is complete but I have no doubt that it will be anything short of perfection.

I recently purchased a raised house, and I wanted to get the crawlspace under my house insulated quickly, so that I could work on the floors inside the house. I called Sunlight Contractors and spoke to Ira on a Monday, and my house was insulated by that Friday! Ira was very informative and reassuring. I had spoken to several other companies that do insulation in crawlspaces, but Ira seemed the most knowledgable about insulation in general, the proper conditions for spraying the insulation, the different types that were available, and why certain types were more appropriate for certain areas of a house. He was able to provide me with alot of information about the specific product they used. They were very accommodating of my desire to have the work completed as quickly as possible. The work performed was excellent. They found mold underneath the house and remediated the mold a couple of days before spraying. I have peace of mind knowing that my house is protected, and I can't wait to see how low my utility bills are. I would recommend Sunlight Contractors to everyone.

I first built my home it 1996 on a slab. In 2005, hurricane Rita has change my life. Due to 4ft of flood water in my home, I was forced to elevate. Not knowing any better, I put a brick skirting around the bottom without enough ventilation. Since I’ve elevated, I’ve changed my floor 3 times due to moisture caused from condensation. To cold in the house and to hot under the house caused my floors to sweat. I’ve been searching the internet for solutions and I’ve come across Sunlight Contractors. I read reviews and contacted few of their customers. I’ve learned this is a 5 star company. So I contacted the company and Ira educated me on the problem I was having. He guided me on preparation to save me money (because of distance) before traveling 3hrs to come spray my home. I happy to say Friday July 20th they came spray 3” of closed cell foam under my home. I’m very pleased with their perfection. They were very professional and cleaned upon completion. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Great business people, very professional, and returns calls ASAP. THEY TRUELY CARE!!!! Thank you very much for coming to my rescue.

I bought an 80 year old wooden home which had no insulation. I could not get warm in winter and paid way too much in heating and cooling. I installed insulation from Sunlight and have gone through one summer and one winter. I am so much more comfortable in my home and my heating and cooling bills have decreased at least 40-50%.

Two years ago I had my walls and attic insulated with open cell spray foam. It was the best decision I've made with home improvement. My home is so much more comfortable AND my bills have dropped significantly. During the summer months my energy bill has been no more than $150, before it was more than $250! And during the winter, my bill is never more than $100! Sunlight Contractors has been a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend Ira and his crew. They did an excellent job with my attic. I had foam insulation put in my house after Katrina. After 9 years , my attic started growing mold. I had several people come out to inspect and give their opinion. After alot of different sinarios I finally got the real answers. After one phone conversation with Ira, I knew he was on to something. His knowlege was by far the best I had experienced with this situation. He was a gentleman and a scholar and I would recommend him to anyone.

Recently had open cell foam applied in attic ,sunlite puts it on nice and thick 5 1/2" they were very prompt and professional to . I will be using sun lite contractors again on my next progest and I would recommend them to my family and friends .

Corey & his team arrived as promised and immediately went to work. They were very courteous and professional. They covered all items in the house to protect them, following completion of the spraying they done a wonderful job cleaning up. I enjoyed speaking with Ira, who was in constant communication with me. On a side note the stucco contractor was there to give an estimate, when she exited her car the wind blew some of her money all over. After she had left one of the workers found a $20 bill in the house and returned it to me.

I has this done on a previous home 10 years ago. Sunlight was more professional, showed up on time, the foam was about 2x thicker and cost less per unit than I paid 10 years ago.

We were glad to get the 1st floor insulated with foam before winter. The floor isn't cold in the early mornings and all the squeaks are gone. They were careful to fill all the corners so the drafts from the floor are gone now. They we on time, polite and there was no mess left. I recommend them to several people.

I had done my research and called at least two other companies before choosing Sunlight to install open cell spray foam. I chose them over all the other competitors because of the excellent customer service. They devoted a considerable amount of time explaining the process and answered all my questions. They did a great job with the spray foamed attic encapsulation, and the next day we felt a real difference in temperature. They delivered what they promised! Ira and Corey are highly professional!

I contracted Sunlight to install open-cell spray foam in my attic to control air leaks and extend the climate envelope of my house up to my attic, since my air handler and ducts are up there. Ira from the office stayed in contact with me the morning of my insulation install and gave me a heads up when the crew was arriving. Everyone was super friendly and professional, and they let me watch and ask questions while they performed the pre-install blower test. I left so the crew could start the install, and Ira contacted me less than three hours later to let me know they were done. My house is on the smaller side, but still, for setup, work, and cleanup, that's faster than I expected.

Ira followed up with a phone call later in the day to check in and ask if I'd already noticed a difference in how often my AC turned on (unfortunately, I'd spent the afternoon running around and hadn't paid attention – but see the "Purchases section" for something great that I later noticed). From the office to the work crew, you can tell these guys are really into what they do. As a single woman, I'm always a bit wary when it comes to letting people into my home, but I felt comfortable with Sunlight during the entire process.

The work in the house started June at 8:00 and finish at 12:00 Sunlight Contractor was very professional and very easy to deal with talk to I examine their work during and after they finish I could see total improvement and could feel the difference in temperature I would recommend Sunlight contractors to anyone

My Air Guard Unit was looking to get a couple of our trucks insulated to help reduce noise, keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We had initially contacted another company, but long story short they took forever to get back to us with quotes and wouldn't return phone calls when we had questions. We found Sunlight Contractors through google and noticed the great reviews they had. I contacted them and was impressed with how easy they were to work with. They were prompt in setting things up and answering any questions we had. Sunlight Contractors did a great job insulating our vans and we will not hesitate to use them in the future.
