Customer service at Talbots is always excellent. They help you find the right style and size. I overheard an associate helping a husband/father find just the right items for Mother's Day by checking his wife's shopping history. What a great idea! The quality is great. I get compliments every time I'm wearing a Talbots item.

Being told something would show up 2.5 weeks after it shipped and that it's fedex problem is not satisfying. I know I'll have to call again this week to get the item actually refunded

I was told he would be sure the $7 return fee was not charged to my returns as the stores are closed and I have 3 items I want to return. I will be delighted when I see no charge.

Representative was very polite and handled my three returns. When receiving my email the credit amount for the jeans was incorrect. Should have been 62.00 and a few cents and was issued 53,00 and some cents.!!

I was calling Talbots on an order that I placed 1 1/2 weeks prior, but I never received a UPS tracking label showing that it had been shipped. When I called, someone had picked up and disconnected me 3 times before I live person was on the other end. When the gentleman answered, he was very short and would never listen to my question. I had ordered 7 items and he said i would get my tracking notification for my 3 items in a few days. I told him I had 7 items and he just hung up the phone. I called again and got the same guy and he just left me on hold and would never talk. I had called at 8:00 Eastern and it seemed like he was the only one answering the phone. You might need to find another employee that is interested in their job and would like to hear the customers questions before responding. I called back 45 minutes later and received great service. I have been shopping with Talbots for 25+ years and will continue.

I mailed an item back for a credit on 5/14/20. It still has not been credited on my account. I feelfour weeks for a credit if ridiculous. I returned an item to another company on the same day, 5/14/20. That company credited my credit card two weeks ago. There is something wrong with your return policy. I’m very dissatisfied with your returns.

The hold time was 50 minutes minutes. The first time I called to cancel an order, I hit the 2 for questions about a current order. A recording said we cannot take your call at this time, so I called back and selected a different number, 1 - to place an order, and was put on hold. 25 minutes later, someone answered and I requested to cancel an order and was placed on hold for an additional 25 minutes. I listened to the same few songs, over and over again. When my call was answered, the associate took care of my request, easily and professionally.

I was on hold for 40 minutes after being disconnected 10 times by an automated recording that customer service was too busy to handle my request due to a recent promotion. I selected a different option from the menu, but still had to wait an unacceptable amount of time.

I called to try to find an order I had made several weeks back and it I did not know if it had shipped or not. I had received email that did not make sense. It gave me email address & phone number. I sent email inquiring & response was thanking me for order & if I had questions—same email or phone number. I called & recording said there was no one taking calls. Next day, I got email it had shipped (was not clear if it was one or both pair of pants ordered)

I ordered shorts for my vacation giving 2 weeks to get them and still have not received them...going on 3 weeks. Am gone for 2.5 weeks and could not cancel the order or reroute it to my vacation location. Stopped the mail but it is being sent via FedEX which means it will sit there for 2.5 weeks. Hope its there when I get home. Conveniently you charged my account for something I need 2 days ago and have not gotten. Could not believe there is nothing that could be done. The worst customer service fromTalbots I have experienced in a couple of years. Please note that the response was unsatisfactory the associate was friendly, empathetic and I think she tried. Can't believe there were nothing she could do for me. Talbots fail!!!!

I was on hold for 37 minutes before the call was picked up; think that this was excessive. No; I would not share this on line. Plus, rewards that expired have fallen off and she could not locate them. But, was exceedingly nice. And during this time I am not going to make a fuss with anyone.

It took close to 60 min to be answered. online chat is never on (so remove option) I was told i’d be sent return info that day, 3 days later, did not receive. And, not until i paid did it say hours for curb pickup are not on weekends and only 10-3 weekdays, you should post that before transaction. i know tough times with pandemic and i take that into consideration.

i love talbot’s and have been happily shopping for decades at your stores BUT the woman who answered the phone to take my order was nasty. And why? I mentioned pleasantly how I waited 26 minutes on the phone. She never answered me and coldly asked how she could help. What? And she kept repeating that as though I hadn’t ask her anything. It was very surprising and annoying.

I reached customer service on June 2 & June 3 after I tried calling a few times before with no success. I waited over 30 mins. for service each time. I cancelled my order on 6/2 after speaking with Yvonne but received an email on 6/3 stating that my order was on it’s way. Very disappointed with Talbots’ customer service!
