Purchased an upright freezer a week ago for a fabulous discounted price and seriously wish I had purchased the matching fridge, might go back and do that. Daniel (Good Guys staff) was super helpful, knowledgeable and had my husband and I sorted with exactly what we needed within an hour. Great service and product.

Bought a fridge and washing machine together. I was dubious about the seller (guy name Angelo) when he said they'd be delivered next day. Lo and behold, they were delivered as promised. Got a good price as well.

They actually came into my place of work and hand delivered it!!! I was sooo pleased with their customer service. Thank you TheGoodGuys I will order from you again for sure!

Goodguys needs to be held accountable for trade installers they source, the real issue is you pay up front in good faith expecting quality workmanship reality is there sub par lazy installer /plumber who will only do what he feels like doin .$269 gets you / you supply precut hole all they do is insert gas cooktop will not reroute gas line way you want then dont clip gasline or cable correctly .Remember this when you pay upfront no chance havin prior discussion with there trade person they will rip you off ,they will turnup do quickest way and terriable workmanship also be aware as i found out they get pass your signature by sayin goodguys will send you paperwork which when you recieve email job has been closed and you have been had .

Ok this is to the CEO of Freedom Kitchen and CEO of GOOD GUYS as they work together .. Started with their expert designer, measured our kitchen area 3 times and still was 275 mls short Don't forget were told by designer that needed a installation plate for wall oven .. charged for it but it doesn't exist ! but am grateful as he did not note it but after they did calculate that there was a price rise for no reason and was rebated for this. Had to change draw sizes & cabinets so that it reached to the end of the wall. Asked for a corner unit right through with designer kept saying yes have that in plan. Cabinets come 2 square ends, cabinet not functional need to climb in bottom cupboard if I need something on contract showed was still 100 mls short so was going to deliver a 1650 instead of a 1550 but of course a 1550 cabinet arrived.. . We even advised that we would cover the cost of having this changed to a corner unit, they sent a supervisor spent 5 mins said no issue, we told him there was 3 issues the corner, they delivered a wall oven tower that is designed for an oven with a separate grill & microwave but we only have 2 appliances with an oven with built in grill (he left this off the report of course! further training might be required) wonder if they pay him commission for each kitchen he marks as so Freedom Kitchen has no responsibility? Back to the facts. Even the pantry door -ask for a 2 door got 4 bottom ones useless. Rang may times trying to resolve this most of the time no call back had to chase them for answers (lack customer service). They did come back with 3 proposals to fix issue - never came to measure all design did fit our kitchen would have gaps, our stone bench has been cut as they said to change to corner cabinets will not affect sink or cook top .. well with their suggestion the sink will not be in the middle of the window to the side with a gap near the side wall the dishwasher will have to be moved across there will be gaps in the other parts of the cabinets as well. Freedom have now flatly refuse to make correct size corner unit. This is our 3rd week of trying to resolve this issue and now are left with no option but to get a outside subcontractor to make the cabinet. Shame on you Freedom Kitchens .. No cameras like on the the TV show The BLOCK so you can treat your normal customers like this? I would never recommend Freedom Kitchens to anyone if they want a functional fuss free install to their requirements. Zero rating ...

Our kitchen was suppose to take a week to install (cabinets and plumbing) - BUT one of the benches was measured incorrectly and we have been waiting for a month now to have it finished. They advise you that they will organise Installation but they don't tell you that they will walk away from it if anything goes wrong. WELL guess what - I have had to take over the project management as no-one cares, no-one can guarantees anything. The staff at Somersby NSW speak to you in a moronic and robotic manner, they never return calls, you have to call them constantly to get updates and even then, they still have no answers. They keep apologising but offer NO compensation for our stress, our time to call them and our time to call tradies. They take your money upfront - what do they care, they have what they want and we do not have a functioning kitchen. AND their delivery guys could not even back their truck out of our property with care - they damaged our agapanthus! No offer to compensate for our damaged garden. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Unfortunately I walked into Goodguys one day and I thought to myself they have %20 off their kitchens and free design, I should give it a go. I have done ikea kitchen in the past and many DIY jobs around the house so I consider myself a very capable DIYer.

The designer was ok, did some rough measurements (simple layout) and had few good points. After a few hours at the house I got the pressure sale and was told the price is only the same if I sign up on the spot (why not telling me before and wasting 4 hours of my time). I didn’t as same layout would have cost me half of the price even after their %20 off from ikea. Their point of sale was that everyone else is rubbish and their products is made in Australia and of superior quality.

The next day I was contacted by a manager who offered me additional %10 discount and even though price was more than ikea, I thought I would give it a go. They were kind of nice to this point.

On the morning to sign the contract the designer was extremely rude and when I asked two questions she refused to answer and said I can make changes on the day the measurements are done. She was busy and had to go even though she booked the time with us. The measurer was worse than the designer and wanted to give me a cabinet over the fridge which was 10cm higher than the rest of the cabinet and when I refused I was told I am fussy.

They advised me of making a few changes which I ended up having to spend a few hundred dollars at Bunnings, ikea and Aussiecut to custom build and fix those issues. They have sent me wrong parts and they are advising me of leaving gaps where I shouldn’t have and they have made so many mistakes in the parts they sent me.
After sale customer service is horrible. They say they come back to you within 24 hours on their online portal and you are lucky if they notice you within a week. They never apologise or care for the mistakes they made and never try to help you.

They quality of the cabinets is okish but the horrible customer service which has left me with an unfinished kitchen after few months is beyond ridiculous.

I would never recommend them to friends maybe some enemies but do yourself a favour, save a few grand and go elsewhere.

Well, after 2 years in our TGG Kitchen I thought that I'd include a review. Pros: looks good, functional. Cons: they didn't put in the correct size cabinet for microwave which meant that either TGG rebuild the whole wall of cabinets and fridge/freezer opening or we use a smaller microwave. We decided to use a smaller unit (which TGG supplied us thanks). Hindsight - I would have requested they rebuild and supply what was agreed. Under bench oven isn't installed correctly (is angled, not aligned). When the kitchen arrived the whole of the cabinetry over the stove top had to be modified to comply with clearance specs. When the constituted stone bench tops arrived (in the back of a ute with a bit of thin foam between them) the had chips and one was cut incorrectly and needed to be resupplied. They took forever so we had a complete kitchen that we couldn't use for 3 months. They finally supplied correctly and then took the best part of a whole week to do the install properly. Had to chase them up for the cutting boards promised from the cutout for the sink. They said that someone would come and check and realign all of the cabinetry in about 6mths. 2yrs on haven't seen or heard of TGGK. Not being a kitchen designer but being pretty handy with doing maintenance I've attended to the doors and other various things that needed correcting because the thought of having to deal with getting after sales stuff done was traumatic.
During the process of design and production there is plenty of contact and information. The system seems to work pretty well so long as you're reasonably wise and can spot things that aren't correct along the design path. Once the kitchen is on site and the installers have finished, that's it. Don't expect to hear from anyone, especially if you have a problem or have had problems in the process. TGGK are a business and their priority is making money, not making you happy. It's pretty embarrassing when you have worked for one of the franchises, now the owner very well and then have to go through this process.
Would I do it again? We could have purchased a local custom kitchen at a cost of an extra $10K (approx.) and if I had to do it again that is what I'd do. Having to deal with people in another state over the phone was difficult. Would I recommend TGGK to others. No. We're enjoying the kitchen and it sort of works but it all came at a mental cost which I wouldn't pay again.

I have recently signed a contract for a new kitchen with Kenross Kitchens. They told me I had to arrange for any new appliances, so I went to the Good Guys at Erina Fair to look at Rangehoods & Sinks. On my arrival the first person to greet me was a lady sitting at a desk who asked could she help me. I gave her my story and she asked why I didn't get a quote from the Good Guys for my new kitchen. I told her that we typed in "Central Coast Kitchens" in google but there was no mention of the Good Guys doing kitchen renovations. I obtained 3 quotes and finally signed a contract last Wednesday. As I am a regular customer of the Good Guys I thought I would bring this information to your attention for investigation.

Very friendly and helpful showroom staff even made the appointment the only time we could on Australia Day!
Designer was brilliant and had some great ideas that worked with our odd shaped space, offered a good discount and we accepted straight away.
Installer was amazing Richard from Incredible Kitchens installers at Wavell Heights and he was friendly and helpful, the delivery was sooner than expected which was great, installed with minimum off fuss, and kitchen has changed the whole place. Looks fantastic and very practical. Only issue was 1 missing shelf which good guys shipped up the following week. Would definately recommend and use again if needed. Love love love it

I had a scheduled and confirmed 'in home' appointment with a 'designer' booked in. I spent a long time on the phone with the lady who called to confirm explaining exactly what I wanted and was assured that I would be able to have everything addressed and quoted on the day of my appointment (the next morning). Exactly 5 minutes before the appointment I had a phone called telling me that the in home appointment needed to be cancelled due to an office emergency. When I asked why I wasn't informed of this earlier in the morning I was told that there had been a scramble for the last 2 hours to try and get someone else in yet no one had bothered to call me to tell me that this was the case. To add insult to the whole issue i was then told I could be offered $25 off the final quote price If I provided detailed measurements, 3D drawings and photos of what my current kitchen was and what I wanted the final kitchen to look like. I tried to explain that they current layout and future layout were difficult to depict hence why I wanted an in home quote and a 'professional' opinion and why was I doing their job and being offered $25 for it. I was then told that the next appointment/quote date would incur a $99 fee and that it would need to be scheduled in the current weeks? When I then informed them that I wanted nothing more to do with them I was berated on the phone and insulted. AVOID AVOID AVOID - I'm off to Fair Trading now

The kitchen layouts in the store look great and that's the reason we went through them, the designer was good and of course we were offered a discount if we paid a deposit there and then, which we did as we had already decided on a kitchen from their showroom, we were told that we could choose the appliances we wanted from our local GG,s and they would have it delivered to the store that was doing the instal closer to the house we were renovating, upon enquiring about this at our local GG,s we were told that it could be done, but at a cost of $284 per item, hence I picked them up and drove them to the house, after the installation I saw that there was a gap between the top of the dishwasher and the bottom edge of the cabinet it was installed in as well as a flaw it the door of the pantry, spoke to a girl at the head office, long story short, firstly she accuses me of damaging the door and wanting them to replace it then it turns out even though the only cabinet they use with that model dishwasher there is NO template for the piece of wood required and it had to be custom made and installed, things that should have been told to us at design level to save paying someone a second fee to install something.
Just had the above installed and replaced tonight and the new door is 50 times worse then the one they replaced.

My advice is don't go near these people, if it's going good it's all lovey dovey but if when it doesn't, they drop you like a hot rock.

I have recently had a new kitchen installed through Good Guys Kitchens and it has been a pleasure to deal with them from the designer to the installer with delivery being exactly to agreed time. Connecting with the Sydney Office via the personal email set up was a quick and easy way to attend to any queries I may have had. I now have a beautiful top quality kitchen of which I am so very proud. Thank you Good Guys.

The first appointment with the consultant was good, she was very helpful. Ongoing contact from [name removed] at the main office is NSW was always pleasant and helpful, BUT... from the moment the kitchen went to production the nightmare started. The delivery was delayed by 3 days as they were unable to have the full kitchen completed by the date they submitted to us and therefore the truck was unable to deliver, . which then delayed the installers who were not available once the kitchen finally arrived, we paid for 3 days pre paid installation and they could only give us 1, once the installer [name removed] (who was fantastic) arrived he noticed that incorrect pieces had been supplied so it would need to go back to production, Given it was the 21st December they had closed. We then realised they had made the fridge opening way way to big which looked ridiculous, they sent out a assessor ([name removed]) who agreed that a problem had occurred and suggested that GoodGuys Kitchens (AKA Courtsean PTY LTD) supply a wine rack in the opening to compensate for the error which we accepted (unhappily) They then accused us of removing a load barring wall !!!!! which would be the reason that incorrect measurement occurred for the fridge opending (AS IF - of course this had never happened) [name removed] at the customer service centre was given our file, after weeks of back and forth emails and phone calls they gracefully offered us to have the wine rack at a reduced price of $1200 (screw that). Only when we began legal action did they finally after 3 months of paying the final bill of $30K supply the correct bulk head pieces and the correct colour of the incorrectly supplied panels. We still have a large fridge opening and will look at it with disappointment (until VCAT has a outcome) We have dealt with rude and arrogant staff and have been lied to on many occasions. We are only lucky that we recorded every phone call (with admissions of error) and kept all emails so that the legal action we are now involved in can happen (fingers crossed) As first time owner builders we will forever remember the terrible treatment we have received from THE GOOD GUYS KITCHENS and will ensure that everyone we know is aware of this so they can source out a better supplier.### Do not use them ###

11 weeks. No kitchen. Tenants pulled out of rental agreement. Who could blame them. Cancelled contract with supplier. Tried to, illegally, hit me up for $800 cancellation fee. Astonishing! An organization at war with itself. Sales, design and manufacturing blaming each other for the failures of their internal culture and who are openly contemptuous of their customers. Sadly, from my experience, a fairly standard Australian management model.
