Had my Meat Hamper delivered today on schedule and bang on time with the delivery notification I got before delivery. Everything in the Hamper fresh beautifully prepapred packed labeled and chilled. Couldnt ask for more great service, great price and wonderful product. Thank you The Meat Man

Decided to change online meat suppliers so after browsing I came upon The Meat Man 5kg Chicken breast £19 and 1kg minced beef 5% fat for £5 the delivery was £5-99 I ordered early hours of Monday morning recieved email confirmation and that it would be delivered Tuesday. And on Tuesday it came by APC delivery very impressed the box was totally in tact and not even a dent. So I rushed to the kitchen and opened up there was a styrofoam box inside the cardboard box and when opened the chicken fresh was vacuum packed and so was the mince. I opened both and was pleased that there was no smell (unlike another online shop ) So I divided into bags and bunged in freezer I did keep some chicken out and we had it for tea lovely tender tasty and no blooming water. I was so impressed with the box (yes I know sad lol but I had previously ordered twice of a certain online website called MuscleFood when it arrived the box was literally falling apart this was because the meat was packaged in a bag with ice packs which had defrosted causing condesation on the bag hence making box soggy. To add to that the smell when I opened the chicken was gagging. I will now in future order only from the Meat Man superb meat but also well done on packaging

I used a different meat company for 18 months before finding the meatman. What I love most is that you can personalise a meat hamper using the drop down box which even includes joints. Last month I chose a delicious lamb shoulder joint. I have a modern pressure cooker so I can leave a brisket joint or topside whole when I make a casserole after work. To summarise. Great choice and great quality.

I don't use the Meat Man anymore due to poor customer service during my last order. I received several packs of shin beef that were little more than gristle and fat with only about half being quality meat. When I went back to the company to give them the option to put it right I just got arguing.I was lectured on how that was how it should be (even though the website photo used to sell the product on their site looked nothing like what I received) and they also sent a googled excerpt of how to prepare shin beef so that the connective tissue breaks down (which again probably should have been included in the description on the site). I found the person who dealt with my complaint to be patronising and not the customer facing person I would want representing my company. I now use Farm drop and they are amazing!! The quality of the meat is far superior, and they are also more expensive but I'm finding the change great and the increased cost well worth it. Thanks Meat Man for helping me move to a better supplier.

I ordered the Christmas bronze hamper to be delivered on Christmas Eve. I haven’t ordered meat online before so was a little worried! I was given a time slot and it arrived on time, fresh in an insulated box with freezer packs. All the meat was fantastic. The turkey was moist and tasty. I would recommend ordering from The Meatman and I will definitely be ordering again next Christmas.

Ordered on the 27th March, an earliest delivery date of 1st May was advised, AFTER paying £6.99 for "premium delivery" !? Cant review the produce yet !!

I have been buying from The Meat Man for well over a year now and I don't think I have had a bad piece of meat at all. I highly recommend buying from The Meat Man you can not be beaten on quality or price.

I order about every 2 - 3 months, the quality of the meat is far superior to that of any of the main supermarket chains, and you can tell the difference when you cook the meat, be it chicken, steak or sausages. There are also some good deals, and the price is competitive for such a quality product.

I was led to believe it was british meat, the labels say otherwise. It turns out it’s only slaughtered or butchered in Britain. As an ethically minded carnivore, I will be purchasing my meat from elsewhere until you begin selling British farmed meat.

Ordered a 1KG Fillet of Beef at the end of the October to freeze and make a Wellington on Christmas day. Defrosted it on Christmas Eve to prepare the Wellington only to find the whole thing was run through fat. Tried to cut a lot of it away and ended up removing/disposing of a lot of fat. Ended up with two pieces of meat instead of the one we wanted to use to make the Wellington. Upon cooking, it was very chewy and very fatty, not lean and tender (like a fillet is supposed to be). That being said, I am not wholly convinced the piece of meat was all fillet or tenderloin, and I think it might have been a bit of fillet with a lot of sirloin or short loin attached. All in all, this was the worst piece of fillet I have ever purchased - and it ruined Christmas dinner. Hugely disappointed – will not be ordering from here again.

Always impressed with everything we have ordered from The Meat Man having been a customer now for a couple of years. We have never had an issue in that time with the quality of the food or the delivery. There is a lot of value to be had by getting items in bulk like the Chicken, sausages and mince and the food is 100 times better than any supermarket meats. Having introduced family members to their products we are now always getting asked to add extra to our order for them as well.

Ordered the silver Christmas hamper, hands down the best Christmas dinner we have had. Definitely my go to butcher from now on.

Ordered 2 fillet logs which were on offer, only one arrived. Needed two as I was hosting people. Instead of sending me another as requested they refunded me for one log which was poor really considering the one log with delivery wasn't really worth it anymore, basically cancelled out the offer price. Suspect they were out of stock but who knows. If things arent in stock, then you should be made aware before you buy or at least be notified before they ship.

I and my Family have been very happy with the selection of meat we received for over Christmas and the new year Good tasty prices of meat. If I have a criticism it is that one of the two polystyrene boxes was completely broken at the bottom and water/blood leaked out and I could not read the labels on stuffing packages. But this did not detract from the meat at all. Thankyou Val

The beef fillet steak was very good indeed, however the beef fillet steak strips was in small pieces with quite a bit of fat on same, we lost almost 200g per kg once prepared for freezing. You might be better purchasing a complete fillet and cutting it into strips although this would be more expensive. The chicken portions was good overall but again needed trimming. I have conacted the company regarding two deliveries which did not happen especially annoying as one was for Christmas. To date I have had no response from the company which was sent a few days ago.

I have used this site before and have been really happy with the meat bought but my last order was shocking i bought the rolled beef 4kg boned and rolled for christmas lunch which was so grissly and fatty that we gave trying to eat it and gave it to the dogs and the rolled sirloin was not much better was so dissapointed and it ruined christmas dinner. sorry for the bad review but you did ask

The meat was delivered when expected and we had one of the best turkey crowns we've ever had, along with a super rib of beef. Will definitely use the Meat Man again.
