I was very disappointed with the result. I purchased light ash blonde that stated that it would have no red in it, but my hair didn’t come out ash, it definitely has a red tinge to it. I just don’t think you can get salon quality colour at home.

I have tried your product and impressed with it. It doesn’t have any smell and it’s gentle. The colour is nice and even. I am also very happy with the colour kit. Very thoughtful and professional. The quantity is generous. I would recommend to anyone who does hair colouring at home. It’s absolutely value for money so worth it!

So impressed by this product! It really was an amazing first time offer, I look forward to my next batch. The coverage is real good, and the lustre it gave my hair was better then some expensive salon treatments ive had! Seriously..... I will adjust my colour next time. I didnt find the colour match was quite what I was expecting, but thats to be expected with online shopping for colour.

I was a bit nervous when I received my order as I haven't coloured my own hair in a very long time, but being in Melbourne and not having had a colour for 7 months I was wanting something that was good quality. Came across The Shade and thought I'd give it a go. Was great making use of the free trial (only had to pay postage). Everything turned up nice presented and I love that they provide you with all the equipment you need. All instructions were very straight forward and simple to follow. I got my husband to help me apply the colour and he did a fantastic job at it. Super happy with the colour, with was Deep Mahogany Brown. It's a lovely colour and would be happy to purchase again.

I love The Shade, its so conveniently delivered to your door and originally I had signed up for one colour and after a few deliveries it just wasnt the right colour for me, took 2 seconds to update my subscription and change the colour online. LOVE the new colour !! This is such an affordable and convenient way to go, really great quality, I highly recommend

Amazing value for money with the starter pack. Everything inside was quality and The Shade branded, I was very impressed. I especially liked the bench mat and the cape, items I didn't have before but I'm so happy I do now. The colour itself looked beautiful, it was so shiny and had great coverage, and was easy to apply. I love the barrier oil and stain wipes that came with the kit, very handy for reducing mess. Overall a very happy customer.

Beautiful, long lasting colour for me and now my daughter is using it too. I had to use an anti-dandruff shampoo and it didn't fade the colour. It really is worth the extra trouble of mixing and applying by brush instead of the supermarket squirt-it-on bottle... But you get a salon result without the nasty chemicals. My hair was horrible post chemo, but soft and shiny now. My only thing that would be better is remind the user to take scissors for the shampoo and conditioner sachets when they wash and condition afterward. We won't go back.

I have had my hair dyed at the hairdressers for many years as I had more grey than I wanted and felt DIY colour just didn’t provide the cover I needed. Covid 19 meant I had to resort to DIY colour! A chance chat with a friend about my hair lead me to The Shade. Wow! I was impressed, great coverage and longevity. Love the colour! Have had many positive comments. Great application kit, colour not true 4.1 ash dark brown had a lot red tone still and did not cover greys even after following a further 10min to develop. Colour left hair dry and I was pleased the kit had a moisturising conditioner. Overall it is a good DYI home product.

Sorry but I can’t leave a positive review for this product as I’m not happy with the end result - one week after application the colour has washed out in places ... I was hoping for atleast 3-4 weeks before it started to show regrowth - the fade is far too quick.

Hi, The Shade is my regular way of tinting my hair once per month by my daughter with a top up half way on the top of my head. It has been very successful and has saved me a lot of money. I am very happy with The Shade, dark brown.

I have been very ill for the last 6 months. I have been taking massive doses of medication. I was worried about the chemicals in hair dye and the effect they would have on my hair and scalp. I looked for a gentle product and found The Shade. It’s been amazing. Very gentle on my scalp and hair. Highly recommend this product. I will continue to use it even when I am off medication.

Just used for the first time tonight and I absolutely love it ???? I tried beige blonde and it is an amazing colour for me and covers my greys. Other lighter blonde colours I will also try in the future but for winter beige blonde adds depth and is gorgeous. Soft shiny hair and super easy ???? Thanks... I’m totally converted now ????

I no longer wished to bleach my hair and wanted to find a shade as close to my natural hair colour as possible and one that would cover my greys. The Shade ad popped up on my Facebook newsfeed so I thought I’d investigate further. I ordered my first kit and my husband dyed my hair two weeks ago for me. I love how natural the colour looks. The shampoo and conditioner are fabulous. After dying my hair always feels like dry straw but as soon as I put some of the conditioner on it it magically became soft and smooth! I’d highly recommend The Shade to others. I am so happy with my hair.

I havn't been to a hairdresser since the 2nd Feb 2020. I thought I would try and embrace my sparkles (greys) at 51 but no I cant just yet. I purchased the shade trial and have only just coloured my hair and I am very happy. The smell was non existent which is a nice change and my greys are covered and my hair feels amazing. I love the fact that im not putting harsh chemicals on my hair as I have been colouring for the last 25 years.
