I bought a replacement laser drum cartridge for my Oki data printer to have on hand as a replacement when my original drum had ended its useful life. That day came and my staff placed the laser drum replacement cartridge purchased from TonerMax in the Oki data printer. The printer gave an error code and when Oki data was contacted, they stated the laser drum replacement cartridge purchased from TonerMax would not function.

I looked on the packaging that the laser drum replacement cartridge purchased from TonerMax was packed in and on the end of the box was the following: "100% FULL YEAR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of original purchase under normal use and service. Contact your dealer to replace any defective products. This guarantee is limited to the replacement of the defective product or the refund of the product''s purchase price, at the dealer's discretion. Based on the amount of toner consumed, refunds may be pro-rated"

I still had the receipt and the order number, so I called TonerMax customer service to explain my dilemma to the "customer care agent". I was told that policy is only a 30 day return and that my request would be honored. I asked WHY, if the laser drum replacement cartridge purchased from TonerMax had a 100% FULL YEAR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE, could it not be returned as it was obviously not going to work? "There is a 30 day refund/return policy as stated on our website". I asked that a support ticket be created.

Today I received a message back that reiterated the 30 day refund/return policy. Again I wrote back and asked why the "100% FULL YEAR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" as printed not the box is not being honored.

So far I am stuck with a $105 product that is useless and still I am within the year for the manufacturer satisfaction guarantee.

Unless this issue is dealt with to my satisfaction (return and refund), I cannot recommend doing business with this company.

I ordered two different types of Toner Cartridges, online from Toner MAX, late evening, on May 27th. They were to be shipped via Free standard shipping. To my surprise, I received one the very next day and the other came the following day (Friday May 29). Both were delivered via UPS, ground. WOW! I've never had such great service and the products were as promised and very inexpensive verses my cost from local retailers. I am one happy new customer. Thanks for the GREAT service. I've ordered from TonerMax many times over the past few years. Never had a problem, always got what I ordered in a reasonable length of time. Not sure why everyone else has had so many problems.

I ordered some photo paper as they showed a very good price and I received an order confirmation explaining they get the product from other suppliers but generally ship in 1-5 days. I noticed they charged my credit card immediately and after 7 days I hadn't heard a word about my order. It's now 10 days and still no word, just empty promises so I'm canceling the order and looking elsewhere. It seems they are just a go between and they just post tons of products on their site but never have any idea if they can supply them to their customers- WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

I purchased 2 HP Ink cartridges from this rip off company. To my surprise they were shipped without the original boxes. I guess they were trying to be slick shipping expired inks. I am now in the process of going to the attorney general here in NY and PA where they have 2 pseudo addresses. Also those of you that read this I find it interesting that this pseudo company even have copied the BBB (Better Business Bureau) on their web page. They have been contacted (BBB) as for this pseudo operation. They are far from being a reputable company. Using the BBB is totally ridiculous. Fortunately, I haven’t spent that much money here but, those of you reading this should complain to the proper authorities if you haven’t done so already. These slim balls should be put out of business! If you complain to your bank they will remove their access to receive credit card payments from their web site for future purchases made by unfortunate other buyers unknowing of these slim balls operation.

Bought 4 printheads & 2 ink cartridges of an HP CP1700. The ink cartridges were fine. Both of the ink cartridges were expired and the printer would not accept them. (one expired in 2007, the other in 2009). The online contact form at TonerMAX returns as undeliverable email. There is no phone number and no other way to contact these people. It's a $60 lesson I won't soon forget.

I had used TonerMax 3 or 4 times in the past with no problems. There was a recent issue with a missing order that they worked with me to resolve. I am pleased to say that they came through in the end and I will use them for future ink needs.

I purchased 4 toner cartridges worth about $900 total. TonerMax offered the best deal I could find, it didn't occur to me to check Reseller Ratings until after I submitted the order, and seeing all the bad reviews it made me nervous. However, I received confirmation emails for the order as well as a shipping confirmation. The cartridges arrived just 3 days later. They were all OEM and in their packaging. My overall experience was great.

I ordered a CANON 20-N01 TONER CART NEGATIVE BLACK 3K on 12/02/2009 and received on 12/05. I opened the outer box to install it in the printer but realized that it came in a generic box which is not the one shown in the picture on the website at the moment of ordering it. When I opened the box there was a dirty cartridge that looks used in a ripped opened plastic bag. The original box and instructions were missing but most important the cartridge was not in a sealed bag with an expiration date. To make long story short I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because this people almost did not answer my emails which is the only contact method this company has. Save yourself a headache and buy somewhere else, the cheaper price does not worth the hassel. By the way, as of today they have not credited my CC.

Always before when I ordered I wanted the STAPLE 3100, I recieved other name staples in boxes that looked like they had been on shelves for several years. Have not used yet but assume they will fit. Will have to think twice before ordering again.

Definitely the best prices on the Internet, but after 3 weeks, I had received no toner or shipping confirmation. The phone number on TonerMax's website was disconnected, but found another number by searching on their domain registration. I eventually got in touch with Sales and was told that I would receive a call back from Bill Love. That didn't happen, so I placed numerous calls and emails to various divisions within Impro Corp until I received a shipping confirmation via email. Toner finally arrived and seems to be working like a charm. If the toner fails to yield at least 2000 pages, I'll be posting a follow-up to this post.

Shipping took 2 weeks. Shipped defective product. Tonermax phone #'s have been disconnected, and infromation has no new number for them. Will update this review when vendor resolves the problem.

FOLLOW UP 4/20/09: To date I still have not received a refund or a replacement for the defective cartridge I ordered one month ago. I have done some research: this co. is owned by IMPRO CORPORATION, which appears to broker "surplus business equipment". The founder is Wayan Garvey. I found 5 phone numbers, only one of which was actyally answered by a human being. This person promised to call over to customer service to get the issue straightened out. I did receive an email from customer service promising to issue a refund and have the defective cartridge picked up. That was a week ago and nothing has happened. The only thing that this company has done well is take my money. BEWARE of dealing with Tonermax

I should have researched them first. I also received poor quality product - either expired or refilled. The HP ink colors were off in both (double pack) immediately. Of course, I didn't need to use the ink cartridges until after 30 days shipment. No returns after 30 days.

I placed my order on December 30th, 2009. Four business days later (excluding New Year's Day) I inquired about the status of my order. I received a "canned" response on their website about their normal shipping times of 2 - 5 business days. So I waited until the close of the fifth business day and inquired again. Nothing. Since their only listed form of contact is via their website, I had to dig around for additional information. After calling 6 different salespersons listed on their parent company's website (Impro Group) I finally reached one who gave me an email address for Luis - no phone number available. I emailed him and again - nothing. I posted again on their website with customer care - nothing. I finally emailed Luis,their support address and posted to customer care on their website requesting a cancellation and refund of my order - big surprise, no response again.

Stay away! I guess that's what I get for deviating from my old standby, Databazzar...

UPDATE: Finally received my refund on January 15th, 2010.

I placed an order yesterday afternoon for $115 of ink for my printer. They called my place of business shorty there after and spoke with a member of my staff and said if we had any questions to contact them.

SO why would TMX call and harass my 80 yr old mother for my contact information THE DAY AFTER they called my place of business. I have not lived with my parents for 35 years.

I have contacted customer service and still waiting for their reply.

I have requested my order to be cancelled. I don't do business with people like this.

Was very satisfied with ordering, shipping and receiving Kodak 30XL. Works great ! !
